This is a nice thick base layer that is perfect for cold Colorado days. Super soft even after multiple washes and does not scratch at all. I have it in two colors now and rotate between them during winter months. It is a little bit looser fitting and longer than the 200 oasis series. 100% merino is always worth its paying more for, especially when it gets under 20°F.

This is great except for the sizing. The top is quite big. I think IB could improve fitting with a lot of their range. I have a 40.5 inch chest, am 177cm and 75kg with a muscular frame (I'm a PT). I know I am more athletic than most but this makes me a 'large' by their guidance on the chest yet a medium is even too big. As far as their t shirts and base layers go I wear a small otherwise they are both far too baggy- base layers look like a sweater they are so loose. A small base layer is a good fit but still not a typical snug base layer fit. This is a thin base layer but having worn it a few times in cold temps under a light puff, I can attest that it definitely maintains a warm core temp and wicks moisture. The neckline isn't too high like some crewnecks can be, perfect and versatile to wear under any jacket or sweater. Size L was just the right fit for my long torso. I deducted one star because I did expect the weight to be a little thicker.

This top is so comfortable and the fit is absolutely perfect. I typically wear a size small but they were out of stock so I decided to try the xs. It fits perfect! The material is perfectly thick and cozy, super soft and warm. The arms are long enough even for my long arms and the length is great for my tall height. Literally perfection and worth every penny!
Cozy and wonderful. I tend to be cool and I own a variety of Icebreaker Merino clothing. I wear them almost all the time. I machine wash them in cool, delicate and air dry-Never a problem with holes, except when my cats get rambunctious. Then I do a little mending because I love my Icebreaker. I'm currently wearing the 260 Tech over a 200 Oasis longsleeve. I usually purchase XS, I'm 5'2" 103 lb and the XS in the 260 is slightly more roomy and longer than the 200 Oasis. I'm going to order it in Navy too.
This is the most comfortable base layer or merino wool top I have ever put on. I know merino is amazing, and these days it's pretty darn soft; but still every other brand I've tried I do still feel a bit itchy and prickly in. Not this one! I haven't been itchy once. It keeps me warm, dry, and comfy layered under a fleece, puffy, and shell on cold winter hikes, and it's just thick enough (and gorgeous in the yellow color) that I wear this around as a regular sweater top sometimes all on it's own. It's expensive, but actually worth it. I would love another.
Love this merino base layer. Colour is gorgeous and I wear another thinner icebreaker merino underneath if needed. I wear a medium under the large and it is perfect. So warm and so comfortable, the best brand and I have had several in the past. Love the fantastic quality and never stretches or looses shape. Love love love my Icebreaker merino
True to size, fitted though not as tight as some other base layers. I'm a small at 5'4.5" and 120 lbs. Small is my usual size, sometimes xs. This top is soft, not itchy, and washes well. Navy is my black, so I'm glad that was an option. I already got another 260 in navy. I also got a pair of the bottoms. This set makes awesome PJs and base layers. Even when worn multiple x, I don't stink even the day I sweated.
I’m giving this crew a solid 4.75 stars. Its the perfect crew and I’m glad I have one in black… it goes with everything and I can multi-purpose for winter business casual under a jacket or a vest, hiking, running, etc. I’m 5’3”, 135lbs, b cup, and the small fits perfect. It washes and dries well, and you can’t beat merino for moisture wicking, temperature regulating, odor proof. Icebreaker knows what they are doing in terms of quality.However when it comes to base camp on a chilly night or a super cold day hike, I prefer the half zip for that added warmth of merino around my neck with out having to carry an extra article like a gator. I knew this was a consideration and I bought the crew because it’s more work-ready. But there might be a black half zip in my future.
I love these Oasis long sleeve merino wool tops. I have one in black in medium and it fits perfectly as a base layer, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing on it’s own (it’s too snug for my modest self). I typically order medium sized shirts. I also have one in blue that is a Large that I do feel comfortable wearing on its own so I have the best of both worlds. You really do notice the extra warmth from this 260 compared to the 200 (I have those as well). Excellent for wearing under sweaters & sweatshirts.
