Comfy Cami

This Cami with shelf bra is very comfortable, and best of all it is 100% merino. So it is warm in winter and cool in summer. It breathes and moves with the body. Please make more camis of 100% merino. My skin does not like the ones with some nylon in them. Also Icebreaker used to make camis with a little flower on them, and of more colours. It would be nice to do so again.

Oh how I love this top! I started with two, a black and Redwood. They were meant to be for special use and camping only to layer up. I love them now so much and use them every day and have probably purchased overall eight now and want to get two more. I wear them for work underneath a short sleeve top and long sleeve top and a hoodie /jacket (I work in an outside studio, where it gets cold) but I still look smart and slim despite all the layers (not Michelin like at all!) and it makes such a difference! I can adjust the layers depending on the temperature but without this tank top I would not go on!! haha. I wear it for sport - for yoga, cycling, running, hiking and camping. I also now wear it for housewear underneath and for sleeping! It's changed everything for me ... MoreOh how I love this top! I started with two, a black and Redwood. I would have preferred to get them all on sale as I did with the light lavender ones, but I just loved them so much I decided to treat myself. I suspect I will wear them in the summer now as well underneath shirts. They still look smart and the colours stay well. I have so far washed some of them about three times by hand and in the washing machine. So far they are keeping well. Time will tell!In regards to size, I am normally a size 12-14, being 1.74m tall and about 65-70kg weight. Size S of the Icebreaker garments for base layers seem to fit me best. I use size M for middle layers (long sleeve tops) and size M or L for top layer garments (zip hoodies, depending on purpose).

Excellent merino vest

I've tried a few different merino vests over the years but always come back to the icebreaker siren tanks and camis. They are lightweight and thin, with a little stretch allowing for a close fit making them very comfortable as an under layer even under close fitting t-shirts or other base layers. Gives a nice boost of warmth in colder weather but light enough to wear as a wicking layer in milder weather also. Have had many years constant wear from these before wearing through. Wash well also.

Fave tank for now.
14 April 2024

I love these tanks. They are soft, cute and a great layering piece. However, I have noticed the quality of Icebreaker go down over the few years, so I can't give full stars. Their shirts are all prone to warping, despite the fact I wash them like lingerie. The tanks are no exception, and they've only been worn once or twice at this point. The warping is more noticeable when wet. I also notice the fabric of the tags has been switched to a much rougher, scratchier textile. I'll keep buying the tanks for now, but I'll be keeping my eyes open for an alternative as well.

Great tank for summer or winter
16 August 2024

This is a great tank top! It fits well and feels super soft.. I will wear it as a work-out top or under other tops - super versatile. Even though the picture shows it as an off-white it is more of a soft yellow colour, which is quite pretty. I would love it if Icebreaker would make this tank top in a pure white. For reference - I am 5'4" , 124 lb (163 cm, 56.5kg) and I bought a medium as I did not want it super tight.

It's the Holy Grail of bra top camis
11 January 2024

It's made of 100% natural fibers (super soft merino). It has a built in shelf bra *with* padding (yes, the option for padding is everything). It is the bra top cami I have been waiting 20 years to find. Seriously. I bought both the XS and the S with the intention of keeping only the one that fit best, but I'm actually keeping both. I like the smaller size for layering and the larger size for wearing on it's own. My underbust measures 28.5 inches and the widest part of my bust measures 31 inches in case this helps anyone with sizing. Also, this cami seems to run more true to size that the siren bra which required sizing up and was still a bit snug. Please don't ever stop making this cami!

Need more! So comfortable!
8 January 2024

This fits so well and gives you a decent shape! I am always cold , this is like wearing a warm hug! I wear it everyday and bought a siren cami locally to wear when this one is in the wash!I am obsessed with wearing merino wool in this cold damp BC weather as it gives me that layer of warmth close to my body. I will be purchasing more as I can see it's something I will keep wearing throughout the year...icebreaker quality has been very good to date ...no issues!

Perfect for its purpose
2 January 2024

Excellent for the winter months. It was a present for my wife. I bought a second one as she only takes it off for the occasional washing. It indeed doesn’t accumulate odour even after a few days of use. I bought base layer for myself too. Altitude Sports consistently showed the best prices during the holidays, I returned some wrong size items with no issues whatsoever.

Please make this in more colors and lengths!
7 January 2024

I used it as a base layer when I went to a four-week fall/winter trip where temperature ranged from 0 to 17C. Kept me warm around temp 10-17C even when I wore only a cotton shirt on top. For temps below 10C, I wore wool or cashmere sweater and felt warm enough. It never smelled and never had to be washed for the entire four weeks! Because it was padded, I also ditched the bra. The bras I packed remained unused! This is a great investment piece that is now part of my packing list. Instead of bringing multiple bras and synthetic thermals that would need washing after two uses, I can bring one cami from icebreaker and save so much luggage space. My only wish is it came in a nude color that I can wear under white shirts, or that it came in a crop version that i can ... MoreI used it as a base layer when I went to a four-week fall/winter trip where temperature ranged from 0 to 17C. Repeat buy
4 January 2024

I love this camisole so much that I bought it in white; I already own black. So breathable, comfortable, and warm ( but not too warm! ). It feels like wearing nothing, and my wool-sensitive skin doesn't react like it does to other merino clothing. Also purchased a tshirt in the same line and it's heavenly. True to size, adjustable straps, effortless care. I wish that more icebreaker clothing used this fabric.
