IHOMDEC 5 Tier Industrial Wood and Metal Bookshelves Retro Brown

Looks great. Build quality isn't quite as good as expected, but that's okay!If I could give 4.5 stars I would. My only issue was that the wooden panels are considerably light, and have a slightly somewhat plastic feel to them. This gives it a slightly cheap feel. However, this is only mostly noticeable when building the item, and it pretty unnoticeable once built.This may only bother you if you are used to the feel of real wood in the build of your existing furniture. Otherwise, considering it's reasonable price, this item is great and I do recommend it

In reality, the colour of the boards was lighter than pictured, with some lighter brown and red tones rather than the darker wood of the picture. The 'wooden shelves' also aren't wooden, but are particle board / some sort of more lightweight material covered with wooden print. I wasn't too fussed as the lighter weight made it easier to assemble, and the lighter colour goes with my walls. Shelves are very sturdy and easy to assemble. I got them on sale, probably not worth the full price.

My order arrived within a few days of ordering which was a pleasant surprise, and packed well!The wooden shelves are a nice, distressed look, and the metal beams slide together easily. Very simple assembly, which meant I could put it together on my own. The end product is an upscale look at a very reasonable price! This is a versatile unit that would look great in many rooms of the house.

Relatively easy to set up - it took an hour to fully assemble with two people. I did notice there was damage (scuff marks taking of the black finish) at the bookshelf frame, which means it must have taken a knock in transit. Appearance wise it looks good in the space and is very functional for what I needed.

Easy to put together. Nice and spacious. As other reviewers have already noted, this isn't "timber". It's more plastic-y, however you'd need to get up close and knock it to even know that. Regardless, it still looks divine in my industrial style living room

We love this bookshelf. It fits perfectly in our apartment and is bigger than I thought which I love. We don't have much on it yet so you can see the bottom shelf is empty which we still need to fill - love that we have space to add to it rather rather than it being too small. The wood is darker than what I read in the reviews so I was pleasantly surprised with the darker tones. Slightly pricey for the quality but would still recommend the purchase. Thanks so much T+W.

I am glad we brought this bookshelf. It looks very classy and great value for the money. The quality of wood and metal is great and very easy to assemble. Highly recommend if you are looking for an open bookshelf.

I bought this because I needed a shelf to open a new shop.I bought 10 and they fit so well with our shop and the quality is so good.It makes the value of the product stand out even more, and it can be used as a bookshelf or a multi-purpose shelf at home as well.I am very satisfied with this product and will buy more in the future.Also thank the staff for their kind help.

Fake wood

The wood is just some plastic boards with vinyl stickers on it to make it look real. Haven’t even assembled it yet and it is already peeling off; doesn’t look real at all. The ad photo is a scam. I guess you get what you pay for.

best bookshelf ever

So easy to set up, this is actually my second time purchasing this bookshelf, it literally took me an hour from start to finish and it looks SO good. It lines up prefectly with my first shelf, and I already have plans to purchase a third to complete my bookshelf wall!
