Felt I needed to write a review because there seems to be a lot of bad reviews & I’m going to counter that. I bought this for my daughter about a year ago and we have had no issues. I recently switched her from a twin to a full sized mattress and extended the bed. She’s a teen but is taller than me and the bigger mattress was warranted. The only downside to this bed that I have found is more of a personal problem, she’s so tall that sleeping within the constraints of the headboard & footboard was getting uncomfortable and that’s why we switched to the full. The drawers are very big, not super deep but they go back quite far and she can fit a lot of clothes in them. This bed was sturdier than I thought it would be, meaning it’s sturdy for sure! LOVE this trundle!
2 June 2022

We needed a couch for our basement that would pull into a king size bed and this was PERFECT! The color is beautiful, it’s sturdy and super easy to pull in and out. We got two 5 inch regular twin mattresses from another place online and they fit perfectly. The drawers are deep and hold extra bedding and blankets. My husband and I use it everyday as a couch and have slept on it and it’s super comfortable with the mattresses we chose. We did pay through task rabbit to have someone else put it together and it was 100% worth the money. They did a fantastic job and I anticipate this thing will last for years. We also bought king size pillows to use for the back and that works great! Would highly recommend!

Looks great and heaps of storage
13 March 2023

I got this for my study as I wanted a daybed with storage and this fit the bill perfectly. The drawers are incredibly spacious and take up pretty much the whole bed - I can barely touch the back while leaning over. I don't plan to use the trundle but it seems easy enough to use if I did. I'm currently sleeping on it until I get a new mattress for my regular bed, and it's comfortable albeit slightly firmer than I'm used to due to the extra slats (as a single bed all of the slats slot in next to each other). It took us about 3-3.5 hours to put together with two people (although one did most of the work), but although it was tedious it was easy enough to follow the instructions. Just make sure you have plenty of empty space for building as it does take up a lot of ... MoreI got this for my study as I wanted a daybed with storage and this fit the bill perfectly. It will look fantastic with all my cushions once I've finished furnishing everything.

Missing parts, came with marks on the wood, unhelpful customer service
3 October 2022

Truly the worst experience i've had with Ikea.Delivery was on time but that's on the contractors. The bed came in parts and some parts had marks already (think deep scratches, peeling paint in one of the drawers). this was almost forgivablethen came the big problem while building the actual bed. There were missing screws and tools. you'd think that would be the worst part but replacement for the tools and parts MISSING that is IKEA's fault won't be delivered until 2 weeks from now. I paid money to have this delivered and you're telling me it came broken with missing parts?and now i have a half built bed in my bedroom since i have to wait for the stupid missing parts that is the fault of IKEA

NOT difficult to assemble, like others have said.
15 April 2023

I got this daybed for my daughter's very small bedroom. The 3 drawers are HUGE and will come in really handy for storing the extra pillow/blanket for the trundle. I put this together 100% by myself... no husband needed! Overall, it took me 4 hours, which isn't bad at all! I don't understand all of the reviews that said it was difficult to put together or the directions were hard to follow. I don't agree. Maybe if you've never used a screwdriver before, or never followed assembly directions before. If you go one step at a time, double-check, and just take your time, it was pretty simple. I used wood glue on the wood-to-wood parts to make it stronger. Way too flimsy for adults
3 November 2022

I'm not usually one to give one star reviews, but this day bed is way too poorly designed to deserve anything higher. It looks nice and was much easier to assemble than other reviews led me to believe, but one of the wood slats snapped in half THE VERY FIRST TIME I sat on it (with a 3" mattress). I'm 6'0, 190 lb., So I'm not the smallest person in the world, but I'm also far from the biggest. And I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a bed to handle someone under 200 lb. simply sitting on it.I'll admit the bed is a lot stronger when pushed together because the slats interweave to double their strength, but God help you if you have to pull out the bottom section. It was while sitting on the pull-out that the wood snapped for me.In a nutshell, the fact that ... MoreI'm not usually one to give one star reviews, but this day bed is way too poorly designed to deserve anything higher. Just an all around terrible product.

Wonderful bed!
18 March 2023

I purchased this for my teenage son for Christmas. I was hesitant at first , but in the end so glad I did. He sleeps on the bed with the trundle fully out, so it’s between a queen/king size bed. The bed uses two twin mattresses, one for the trundle and the daybed. So because of this you have to use two twin sheets when you have it fully extended, which is the downside because a queen sheet doesn’t fit and a king sheet doesn’t either.Overall, the bed is sturdy, masculine and is large enough to fit my 5’11” son. He can fully extend and stretch out and when he has company the trundle can securely go back under the bed. The drawers are a great size, but can stick when trying to close them at times. You have to wiggle them in to close.

in Czech republic its almost impossible to write a review, so ill do it here. For Ikea standards this piece is poorly made and quite expensive.
