Super annoyed - bought this specially for a new PAX wardrobe. It is advetised as being a wardrove light, comes up in the PAX search, and is shown in the pictures fitting snugly inside a wardrobe. So I bought the 72 cm light for my 75 cm wardrobe - logical, right?Nope. Does not fit. I will have to get a 54 cm light, which will only cover 2/3 of the wardrobe. Really strange, and also could really be mentioned somewhere when you buy it - it's not like you can measure the inside of your wardrobe if it is still in the flatpack boxes... So I now have to take half a day off to drive back there and exchange it for a smaller one which will look a bit rubbish.Very disappointed, as IKEA are usually not this careless.

I have been using LADDA 2450 for nearly six years now in a weekly use cycle at a church for band members. I have some that have been through hundreds of cycles and they keep going. In tests, these (well the original 2450 in white) have been tested against Panasonic Eneloop and Eneloop Pro and they stack up well. For Camera flash to other uses. I also use them for cordless mouse and keyboard applications.They are about 2400 mAh when new. Some reviewers are not aware of such limitations of NiMH and the nominal voltage being lower than Alkaline. If you know what you are doing, these are great batteries. If you wanted to buy Eneloops - get these first. Half the price.I miss them being available for two dollars less, but still under 10 now is fine.

I purchased this item from the Wembley store today and got home and realised that the clips to attach this to the wardrobe and instructions were missing.So I came onto the website to find the instructions. I noticed the reviews I thought to myself let me have a quick look before I try and find a way to attach it to the wardrobe. I noticed people commented that was not particularly reliable so I decided to put the batteries in to test it myself and the lights stay on for about 20 to 22 seconds each time the motion is activated. In addition to this the brightness of these lights is very dull and quite honestly I’m not sure if I’m going to go to the effort of fitting the light.This is probably the most regrettable purchase I’ve ever made at IKEA.My advice is to ... I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing 3 of them. I got them to install under cabinets to illuminate counters without turning on overhead kitchen lights, but in that the sensors seem to detect light rather than motion, this isn't really a great use for them. In my closet that actually gets dark when the door closes, the light works fine. Maybe IKEA could write a more accurate description of the sensors and how they work.Also I had the same issue with the screws and mounting clips that others did -- they are tiny and fall right out of dry wall, need to be mounted in wood. I tried to find longer screws and anchors that might work, but the holes in the mounting clips are so tiny they can't accommodate anything but very thin screws. This is one instance where ... Sorry I didn’t buy these years ago considering the good reviews I kept reading! What a life saver these rechargeables are! I regularly use them for many products around the house. Bought several pairs of these stronger powered AA’s (don’t bother with the lower grade ones) and several of the AAA’s (only one level of power offered). I also purchased two chargers- the basic chargers as the other types don’t get great reviews. Btw, the charging time is fast and batteries last a decent amount of time. I use most of the batteries DAILY in six hour timers. No complaints here! I am incredibly happy I finally took the plunge and purchased these items. No more waiting for expensive Engergizers to go on sale in stores! lol
These charger batteries are not suitable for power-hungry devices. These batteries are only suitable for remote controls, wall clocks and calculators. If a regular battery has a capacity of 5 a/h, then this one is twice less and the new one can produce a maximum of 2.8 a/h, and after several charging cycles its power drops dramaticaly to 1.8 a/h, this can be compared with a drained battery. I bought these batteries for a LED flashlight and within an hour they were dead, despite the fact that the brightness of the flashlight was less than with regular batteries.
Take note if you have these and the sensor isn't working: the sensors have to be unobstructed and basically flush with the door when it's closed.I installed these in a couple of closets with standard hinged doors. At first I installed them further back on the doorframe, behind the jamb, and the auto sensors didn't work at all.After I adjusted them so that they were right *on* the doorjamb, the auto sensor worked properly. The instructions should be clearer about positioning.Can't speak to the battery life as I've only had them for a short time.Brightness is perfect for my application.
