Bought this chair with the white seat color and Malskar black base with the optional seat cushion and love it. Nice design, surprisingly comfortable for an inexpensive little chair and works well with the white IKEA drawing table that I bought a few years ago. Initially wasn’t sure if this product was available with a white color seat as IKEA offers this exact same chair in multiple other seat colors (but not white) with a different product name Eldberget. After some research found this version in white and glad that I did. Excellent product.

Was confused at first wondering why this chair was not offered in white color (video link describing the product shows seat color available in white, but that is not a seat color option listed here as available to purchase). After some research discovered IKEA sells this exact same chair with a white seat color but with a different name (for whatever reason): Loberget. Thought I’d share that info in case it helps anyone else, I noticed another reviewer say that they were having trouble finding this chair in white. My review applies for both versions of the chair, I bought the white Loberget color seat with a Malskar black base which goes well with the other IKEA items I have in my apartment with the optional seat cushion and love it. Thank you IKEA, great product.

Love the design! Very well made, super quick & easy to assemble. Seat shells are a good size too, surprisingly comfy for a hard plastic seat without padding. The safety feature with the safety feature preventing the wheels from rolling when the seat is vacant takes some getting used to, ensure you are correctly positioned before wait on the seat as it's likely to roll out from under you. Overall, I am satisfied with my selection.

Easy for this senior female to put together. Sturdy frame. Plastic seat and castors seem rather cheap. Good for child, teenage girl, or small adult. I wouldn't put 250 lbs. on it. More color offerings would also be nice.

This is my first IKEA office chair and out of the box I thought my wheels were bad as they would not roll. After a few minutes reading all the materials included in the box I noticed the wheels are locked by default and unlock once you apply weight by sitting down. The quality of chair is very good and it is very comfortable as the back side structure of the chair gives very good support while sitting. To top it up, anti-skid feature of the wheel, that it, wheel are locked until someone sits on it, is a very good accident prevention mechanism. Even we were saved a few times from tripping due to that. This anti-skid feature is misunderstood by many as they think the wheel have some problem, while it is a saving mechanism.

Super easy to put together, surprisingly comfortable with good lumbar support. But...castors are basically non functional. Luckily, we were able to remove and replace with our castors from our previous IKEA desk chair which were far superior. The cushion does not fit well onto the chair but i am hopeful it will once we have used it for a bit. Otherwise, a little double sided tape should do the trick. Nice, low profile chair on par with the price.
