I bought a malm white dresser previously and I loved the glass table top that I bought at that time with the dresser.I then purchased a new malm dresser in 2021 and the glass table tops were out of stock for so long (more then a year).Finally saw the glass table tops back in stock this April 2023 & I was so excited.I was surprised with the new glass top color, it is not the same as the older one. The new one has a green tint in it & does not match with my other table top. Extremely disappointed that after all the time I waited for the item to be back in stock & doesn't even match with my other dresser. I will definitely be returning it. This item has changed and does not look as good on the white furniture as the older version. This is horrible. I have 3 malm dressers. 2 older ones and a new design one. I just got the new design one for my daughter’s room. The new design, while making it safer from tipping, can barely open. I have a hard time even just sliding a drawer open. It is not smooth like the old ones and feels very cheap. Had I know the quality and ease of use was going to be so poor I would have gotten a different dresser.

I wish I’d never bought this. Bought this for our nursery and spent HOURS putting it together. Come time to put the drawers in, there is apparently a new locking mechanism that only allows one drawer open at a time. This would be fine but the lock makes the loudest click, it is going to wake up our baby. The drawers also scrape the sides and do not feel smooth. One of our drawers also appears to be a different color tone?? So frustrating and can’t deal with returning it since it’s already assembled. The lock is supposed to keep the dresser from tipping, how about you trust customers to actually install the anti tip bolts when needed instead of nerf the drawers for everyone. I have bought the whole Malm set with the matching glass in the past. Each glass topper were all clear glass except for the night table glass, which had a painted white backing. I just recently bought a new dresser with the glass and it has a green tint to it and looked awful in our room. After reading current reviews I realize that there was a change in material used. I am disappointed in the change and preferred the original product. Will be returning.
I love the way this dresser looks and it feels heavy and durable though it’s just particle board. It comes in a million pieces and nothing is labeled. Took about 3 hours to put together. Also one of the drawers the pieces wouldn’t fit together due to the manufacturer not making the opening on one piece big enough. We had to drill it out to make it work but that drawer now doesn’t move smoothly because it wasn’t built right. Overall the drawers are hard to open which is really annoying. For the price I was hoping for something better. Disappointed and don’t recommend.
Not easy to assemble unless you are a meticulous manual follower like me. I still took 3 hours to do it. The central divider for the top drawers need to be anchored at its lower edge. One drawer slides well but the other is sticky because the the central divider moves. Also I replaced the dome shaped screws (for the slides) with countersunk ones and the sliding is now acceptable. Design engineer please note. Also do not attempt to move it without completely taking out all drawers. The frame will buckle. When moving always put a mat or old towel underneath it, and it slides well.
I had these draws delivered. It came in 3 boxes and they were heavy. I live on the top floor of a three storey flat and it was hard yakka getting these boxes up the stairs to my flat.I put these draws together on my own without too much bother. Wasn't the easiest assembly but the instructions were pretty straight forward.These draws hold ALOT of clothing, Im so happy with the purchase. I love the low style of storage, it leaves me with another area to decorate my room.Love these draws so much! Such a great addition for both storage and styling my bedroom.

Two of the end pieces will come with a plastic-geared interlock to limits one drawer opening at a time. Read the other reviews, this thing sucks. The dresser is improved if you remove it - this is the worst kind of safety device, it makes the thing harder to use and it will inevitably fail and lock up everything.Other than that, it has two wall-mount brackets for tip prevention, which are becoming a universal addition. The nice thing about them is you can decide if you need them or not. If you have kids, USE THEM.The drawers themselves are spacious and slide well. I bought two of these. Both for myself and daughter’s bedroom. Got them in 2022 and the are falling apart. Can’t close the drawers properly as the bottom panel doesn’t stay in place. Can’t even put have heavy clothes in the drawer and it falls. It looks good in the bedroom but very faulty. Not a smooth running drawers with pull-out stop. It gets stuck sometimes because of the flimsy bottom panel. The grip is awful when trying to open the drawers. The assembly was a nightmare.
the quality and size of this product is simply amazing. all my clothing is now sorted thanks to the size of this product. it also looks so good. assembly is also not to bad I mange to assemble it myself with the help of a YouTube video from Ikea. it have 6 massive drawers so you can put all your closing in this chest drawers. to buy similar product from other retails will cost you around ÂŁ450 so to get this quality product for less than ÂŁ150 is crazy. thank you Ikea
