Where do I begin to start on this bed frame. Do not be fooled by how cute you might think this bed frame will look in your room. I have now owned this frame for less than 3 years and will now start listing my heartache with it. Within a month the flimsy ‘metal bar’ gave way from the wood beneath one of the draws, making the draw void unless I kept only socks in it. This would happen once more in the coming months. Within a year of this the right angle bolts that are used to keep the frame secured at the feet and head of the bed began to start snapping, one by one. Making the draws impossible to open if any weight is on them. (I am 84kg for reference). Love this bed ! Only took a couple hours to construct from the instructions, pretty easy, just a matter of making sure you read instructions once through, organise your tools and supplied pieces in order of steps (matching the pieces to the drawings). I enjoy putting things together like a puzzle but that’s just maybe me. If you’re thinking about purchasing this bed do so ! Has amazing storage space and quality bed, comfortable and sturdy !

Good base for a single bed 90 x 200 and very cute look to it. Perfect for adults, kids and toddlers as it’s quite close to the ground. The wood look is very nice. We bought two and noticed both had the same small problem: one drawer opens perfectly and the other opens quite stiffly as the drawer’s bracket and the main bed frame wood piece are made too close together. It’s nothing terribile and I’m sure IKEA can do an easy fix for future production of this product. Some of the steps in the manual could be explained a bit better (such as using shading for coloured parts/internal parts) to understand pieces that are very similar and know which way to put it. Again nothing terrible and an easy little fix. Overall good product.

Such a pity that the rest of the matching furniture line have been dropped. Get your act together IKEA, the second hand market for those products is becoming so expensive
I've had just the bed frame without headboard since 2013 as I was living in a smaller place so no room for headboard and it has been going great. I had it right up against a wall there so only used two drawers. I always planned to go back and get the headboard when I moved to a bigger place. Moved house and added the headboard in 2016 (which I got off gumtree as it was temporarily out of stock) so its even older than that and has been sturdy this whole time. Here are a couple of things I have noticed that aren't deal breakers and I love the bed but just keep these in mind: The handles for the drawers are far away from each other, not an issue but if your frantically looking through drawers coz you forgot where you stored your shoes it slows you down a bit haha. For the headboard in particular there's more to dust than on a basic slab so if you're too lazy to buy a feather duster maybe just get a more basic headboard. Bed and headboard look awesome, plenty of room on the shelves, I have a queen mattress so there's even a little bit of edge of the frame showing which I really like but would be a good look regardless. The drawers slide really nicely too it is a really well constructed bed, absolutely no issues, I love it.
Overall very nice. Good storage space and nice looking. Easy to assemble. Will be perfect if extra screws and nuts are included.
Came packaged perfectly, the best I’ve seen. Service was incredible, delivery driver super lovely! Only slight downside is the instructions, they really should have wording attached to pictures to make it easier. But it’s a beautiful bed with amazing storage, nothing else like it on the market, awesome value!!
This bed took me 7 1/2 hours to build. The pieces are not numbered and it was not easy to work out how to begin construction. Some of the holes didn’t line up with the screws either, and some of the lock in pieces don’t do what they are supposed to. If this bed was already assembled I would be happy with it. The drawers are handy if you live in a small space. However, the birch wood smell is quite strong. I have had this bed for a month and it still smells. Some people might like this, but I do not. Would recommend getting someone else to build it. Or just having clearer instructions.
We are used to building furniture. We love it. Even Ikea ones. This one was a total mess. Every piece in random order in bags with no identification and a very unspecific instruction manual. Similar pieces that you wouldn’t know how to distinguish… a mess. My husband is an industrial designer, I mean… come on! It was a painful experience. Putting it together is not hard but the manual and the lack of identification for the pieces makes all the difference.Other than that, the bed itself, super nice.
I bought this bed recently along with an IKEA mattress because I liked how there was drawers under the bed instead of an empty space. Assembly was relatively easy but I would highly recommend having someone help you and not putting too much of a time restriction on yourself as it is a bit time consuming. Thrilled with the final product, exactly what I wanted. Very sturdy.
