Great light for the price. It paired straight away with the Rodret remote and it will even pair with my third-party Zigbee receiver to control it with Home Assistant. I really appreciate that IKEA haven’t locked down their devices so we have the flexibility to use them how we please.Fitting was simple once I’d figured out how to rewire the existing pendant light. To be honest, if I saw the comments of this product, I wouldn't buy it. I was shocked by its plastic look. As the other comment said, it looks better after installing on the ceiling. But I have a problem that is although I paired with a Wireless dimmer,but why I cannot change the brightness of the lamp?

A compact ceiling light, a good brightness and nice colour temperature. Easy to install and even though it's a smart light it just turns on and off from the light switch. If you have a smart home set up it is controllable from a remote and with a hub from anywhere with the IKEA Smart Home app. A great product for smaller spaces, the larger version is great for bigger spaces.

This is a great addition to the IKEA smart lighting range. It feels extremely cheap when unboxed but that doesn't diminish the quality.It provides excellent light and I'm have no complaints with it.A lower profile 12cm version of this would be nice.
Yes, it's cheap and plastic - it's not something you should be handling regularly, so it's only going to break during installation if you're rough. You're paying for the smart LED driver, the housing was definitely the compromise.It does look cheap up close, but when installed it disappears into the ceiling. Looks great when it's on.Paired easily with Home Assistant. Brightness adjustment is strange. It doesn't smoothly move to brighter or dimmer, it seems to 'step' to different settings along the way.It's very bright, great for a large bedroom. Australians keep in mind: you need an electrician to install this for you.
This is a great smart light with the dimmer. Quality is decent. For people who are having trouble dimming the lights press and hold the on button to increase brightness and press and hold off button to dim brightness! It can be attached to your wall as well.
We wanted something that was stylish but not fussy - something that was fairly priced and straightforward to install. We also needed something of a certain size to cover marks from a previous fitting. This proved to be all these things and we were very pleased with the outcome.
I purchased 2 of these and they work well. I read some complaints about them being flimsy - I found them perfectly suitable for their designed usage.Linked easily with my existing smarthome network, and have been trouble free.Cheaper and more flexible than most other smart lights of this design.
a light is a light.... great you have the remote feature! however, the product packaging should clearly marked that a separate dimmer/power switch is needed. Secondly, why is this product must be used with Ikea Rechargable batteries to work properly.. which mean I have to buy an Ikea battery charger.. it is like going down a rabbit hole. end of the day, I am spending extra $30 in accessories to make the light to work. let's do the math, that is 67% extra cost on top of the price of the light fixture. This light is not worth $75 as the product is inferior made... AKA cheap plastic.
