Purchased three for our bedrooms. Out of the box two seem to be working perfectly. The third will not run, every time I turn it on the red filter light comes on and the motor stops. Have tried removing and reinserting the filter and resetting the filter button but nothing. The fan is also making a weird scraping noise for the couple of seconds that it does run, which the other two did not. Really frustrating to have to drive back to IKEA to get a brand new one that may or may not work!

I only bought this to reduce the dust and cat dander but after only 1 day we both noticed the air just felt lighter and fresher when returning home which isn’t something we were expecting to notice. We ended up going back to buy two more for other rooms. It’s not HEPA but it’s a fraction of a % from it. For the price of the purifier, filters and low running costs compared to big brand filters, it’s a winner for me.

I bought the product due to the design and the product was okay. Nothing great but its value for money. Technically its also somewhat clears the air inside a small room or house and get rid the bad odor. However, i wish the air filter that is sold separately could be sell more cheaper instead of RM25 per piece which is quite pricy since the machine only RM100 something. Thanks!

Bought some for the bedrooms. Jury still out on whether it helps household member with dust allergies. However, the sound-sensitive one, who would take pure quiet if she could, says that -while it is not perfectly silent- the device has a low, steady sound that she tolerates and sometimes even enjoys, as it is just enough to muddle the sound of neighbours daily activities. Fresh air comes out of it, and the handle is great for moving it around (often switching outlets during renovations). Nice and light.
This just did not seem to do a great job of cleaning the air in our very small bedroom, not enough air moving through it. Weak fan. Also filters seemed impossible to find. Our local IKEA always out of stock for this. They should have used an off the shelf filter for this. A washable filter would have been even better. The power light that increases with the fan speed was a very bad choice, looks like a projector on ceiling, could not sleep with this on without covering light with a coin. It got returned.
Bought this because of its attractive price compared to the majority out there. I keep mine on 24/7. I live in a small room and prefer to not open my window as it invites a lot of critters in. This space used to get so dusty. This device has reduced that by more than half. Not only that, it means the room no longer gets stuffy. Additionally, it's so quiet on the first setting, barely audible, and the further settings are the perfect white noise. Overall I'm really impressed and would highly highly recommend. It also looks great and is the size of a little space heater. Also very light weight.
I've been looking at various air purifiers and found this in store. Wasn't sure how it would do, but I was pleasantly surprised! I also bought 2 additional filters while in the store, along with the unit. Not sure how long they will last but it does have an indicator light when to change the filter. Filter fits snugly and doesn't allow air to bypass it. 3 fan settings (High, Med, Low) and fan does provide great air flow.
This is a great little purifier, not just for the price either. Love the design of it, SO incredibly simple and I appreciate that. It's great how you can push the excess power cord length inside of the purifier to keep it looking tidy!I keep it in my bedroom, and I don't find it too loud at all. Love how easy the front pre filter is to vacuum, and that the replacement particle filters are very well priced.I plan to purchase a Starkvind purifier for my main living area, currently trying to decide between the standard and the table version.Highly recommend!
This air purifier is good. Even on the lowest setting, it dropped the PM2.5 levels from 7 down to 2.8 in about an hour. 7 is perfectly fine, but I was just testing the air purifier. From the photos, it looked smaller than it is. It's not a problem, I just assumed it would be smaller. It has one small grill on one upper side and top edge, where the clean air comes out and a grill on the entire back where air goes in through the filter. On the lowest speed, it's quiet but the fan is louder on the second and third speeds. The instructions are in pictures and are easy to understand. You can lie the unit on any side that doesn't have a grill for air going in or out, which is handy for smaller spaces. Filters seem to only be available either in store or with a large ... I use this in my bedroom to keep the air clean since I have allergies and it really helps. My only peeve is that the light on it is so bright that if you need complete darkness, you will be annoyed with it. However, I just removed the nightlight I used to have in the bedroom, and this replaces it.Changing the filter is very easy and the filters are inexpensive. Planning to buy another 2 of these for the bathrooms where the cat litter boxes leave a lot of dust.
