Ikko OH10 In-ear Earphones with 2-Pin Interchangeable Cable

This is just my second pair of Hi-Fi IEMs after my fairly bad experience with the Tin T2s. Overall, I absolutely love these earbuds for both gaming and enjoying content. I really was not expecting the sound profile to be as full as it is for an in-ear. The base is very punchy but also incredibly clean, and the mids and highs seem to have cleared up a lot past the break-in period. I did think that the highs were too sharp when I initially got them, but they seemed to have smoothed out overtime. I do get quite a bit of cable noise in these while moving around. I also noticed that the cable tends to send static up the earbuds, shocking me in the ear while wearing certain clothing. (Weird right?) The cable also strangely seems to pick up frequencies from my Samsung Galaxy S21+ even though it is not connected to it at all. I get a constant ticking noise if my phone is sitting too close to the cable on my desk. They are also extremely heavy for IEMs so I do occasionally feel some pressure in my ear if I am wearing them for too long.A lot of my problems with these IEMs seem to stem from the cable, but I am not well-versed enough in IEMs to know where to look for something like this. Other than that though, I really do love these IEMs. They have a great sound for gaming, watching content, and listening to music and I find them incredibly fun to listen to. Overall, they are a great IEM to pair with my daily headphones, the Sennheiser HD58x.

If you're looking for more of a V shape IEM, these are a very solid (literally) option, Very fun to use while gaming as well, can be punchy and that could strain the ears over a few hours but maybe that's a good indicator that you should probably stop playing. I ended up buying my brother a pair for his B-day and he loves them. They are also heavy, I haven't experienced any pain wearing these though. Only gripe is stock cable sucks, upgraded them to a nicer cable through Linsoul.

Just received mine on 3/9/2022. Initial impressions: These are fairly transparent sounding with black background (very low noise). For a frame of reference I listen to all types of music including Jazz, Classical, Pop, Classic Rock, Folk and Hip-Hop. They are slightly harder to drive than my BGVP DM6's. The treble response provides enough clarity to pick up nuanced cymbal strikes without distorting in the higher frequencies. The bass is deep and slightly pronounced but fairly tight and not flabby whatsoever with good control. The only thing I wish is that it would have a more intimate and forward midrange for vocals. The cable is thin but gets the job done with a 90 degree angled plug which I like. I'm very happy with this purchase and believe these are punching ... MoreJust received mine on 3/9/2022. Go and try to buy this tech with the so-called "high end" IEMs. Yes, people will say, more drivers doesn't make better sound... Sure, these weigh a decent amount due to the quality materials and good tech. The sound is awesome though. Beautiful textured bass. Plenty of separation. Also these are under $200, so who cares? I love the recessed connectors. Saves a tonne of money. If you want to jog then don't use these, buy portable sweat resistant iems as you do want to hear a little of what is going on around you and the benefits of wired headphones over bluetooth with transparency as an option just vanish to nothing. I would Fiio for that. Not the best transparency, but the best quality in my opinion, and half the price, or many others also with both poorer quality builds AND sound - it isn't a very close call as of writing in my opinion, and I have like 20 pairs, but it is a disease, and I am powerless....

Good sounding but too heavy.it is comfortable at start, however after about 30mins of use, my ear feels pain.Somehow it was deliverd to next building again. 3 times already.AND drop again, not willing to do anything about it.AUTOMATED EMAIL comes as useal said that just wait or go find myself.I was lucky enough that all 3 times, my good neighbors find it and send it to me.All 3times, Address on box was a RIGHT address.I know it is not drop's fault but DROP need to show some REAL support.

Absurd combo of fun and comfort

These are the heaviest iems you’ll ever hold, but they just sink in my ears and stay there for long hours without fatigue.The sound is very lively and exciting, it is a v shaped signature but one that hits all the right spots for electronic and ambient music. The soundstage is noticeably large, imaging is great too and different sounds are easily distinguishable.People do bash the cable and ear tips of these often but I had no issues using these (I’m in the minority of thin and light cable lovers and not 96core chonkers) out of the box with fit and comfort. If ER2SE is the analytical and tamed then the Obsidian is it’s chest pounding bass and sparkly treble cousin. I enjoy both of them for different reasons.I waited this to get back in stock for a long time, attended 2 HPZ connects and tried everything I was interested in. But the obsidian was always intriguing to me with its design and sound impressions from other viewers.Honestly they were worth the wait and holy hell that I missed that bass after using the etymotics!(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Awesome. Worthy upgrade from FH3

I was not happy with bass FH3 was produced. So after a lot of discussion with HZ I went ahead and brought these. It quench my thirst well. Happy. A lot of thumps and boom boom. Recessed mids though. Cable felt fragile but must be heavy hauler. Pure leather carrying case provided. Good decision I made.Note: Fiio-Fx1221, Shanling UA1s, Vivo x70 pro plus, Tidal ( MQA and hifi) and apple music ( Hi res lossless / lossless ) were used to make out impression.

Beauty meets performance

The Ikko OH10 obsidian was most wanted IEM for me after I listened to these in DAN's Audio reviews. I requested HPZ for this IEM 2 months back since it was out of stock at that time. They responded and they have restocked. I am very thankful for that, it shows how much they value the customers and have restocked a product which was hard to find in other foreign websites. The product is amazing value for money, this is my 1st investment in an iem of upto 12,999₹ and it will be last because it performs so well, I won't need an iem of higher price other than OH10. The beautiful looks and build quality is it's major plus, for what we pay it definitely satisfies us. The soundstage is definitely expansive and one more thing can be felt true, which was said on reviews, the bass is fast and accurate. Listening to guitar is best I've ever heard. Listen for yourself in DAN's Audio reviews and decide how it sounds if you want to buy. It didn't disappoint me at all. I feel proud to own this set. Music and movies were great. I have requested one more product in HPZ and it's going to be available soon which is Tin hifi T3 plus. It's an amazing value for money iem, if you can't afford OH10 blindly go for T3 plus. Than you once again to HPZ.

Excellent warm IEMs for the price, shines with EQ

Theyre heavy but stay in the ears nicely, great cable. Sound quality is excellent. The soundstage is the real wow factor of this headphone, its just so wide. Bass thumps but is also fairly clean. Timbre is natural. Treble is detailed. Mids are inoffensive. My only gripe with this IEM is that it desperately needs some air, at least for my taste. When I EQ it with a +10db or so boost at 10k, they are EXCELLENT. Im selling my DT 770s because of these.

Midrange disappointment

Ikko OH10 is a beautiful looking shiny iem I have ever had. It's weight will surprise you as soon as you hold these in your hand because of pure copper material I suppose. Here I must tell everyone that the cable looks crap and deserves a better looking cable (I use tripowin c8). Ear tips are just okay not great.One good news is that having SPL of 106 db and impedance of 18 ohms, one can drive these with almost everything that has a 3.5mm jack. However pairing this with a good dongle amp dac like ibasso or tempotec sonata hd pro or any good bluetooth dac will certainly improve it's sound quality. Bass is clean and pleasant. The problem of ikko oh 10 lies in its midrange and a bit of disappointment for me as I prefer a very clean open and forward midrange i.e vocals. Vocals in these are a bit recessed. You always have a kind of craving for more forward vocals and always have wish that the singer could be pushed little bit towards you (again kz zsx, kz A16 and moondrop star field wins in this area). This is the main reason for 4 star only and major cause of disappointment. Treble is nice and sparkly, no issues at all. No sibilance no harshness at higher frequencies. Overall loudness and soundstage is satisfactory.
