An expensive item for the nursery but worth every Penny! I spend SO MUCH TIME in this chair and with all the aches and pains that come from holding a newborn and breastfeeding, having a comfy chair was a must for me. My husband loves it too.Cannot praise the service I received highly enough either and communication throughout. The lady who helped me found a chair in the warehouse to allow it to be delivered before my due date.My only problem with it is it takes a lot of effort to get the foot rest back in - I can pretty much only do it from standing or with lots of leg strength haha. I just leave it out unless rocking him and have figured out how to get up without putting it away. Would happily buy another one even with this though!

I am currently writing this review from my chair. It is my favourite and most well used purchased I made when preparing for bub. It is so comfortable and practical. I’ve had guest come over and sit on it and they have also commented how comfortable it is. It looks great in the nursery too!Highly recommended, well worth the splurge.

When reclining, there is no in-between setting, its either upright or completely horizontal. We don't know if this is a fault or just bad design, but its terrible and we wouldn't have bought it had we knew it was like that. Also the flaps at the back of the chair are too long for the velcro meant to keep them down, so it doesn't look great. Disappointing for a chair of this price.

The Quinn chair looks great, is super soft while still supporting your back and the gliding feature really helps in that first week when sitting down/standing up with your baby can be painful.I do however, find the sides of the chair m to be too high to comfortably rest my arms on while feeding or holding my baby. Most disappointingly though, is the so called ‘reclining’ feature. In order for the back of the chair to recline, you need to be constantly physically pushing your weight against the back of the chair (which is not easy postpartum), it does not click or lock into place to stay in the recline position, meaning you could never sleep in the chair if you wanted to. I thought this may be good for those rough nights but as soon as you relax, the back of the chair pops back into the usual upright position. Had I of known this, I would not have purchased the chair.
The chair is beautiful and so comfortable! The ergonomic design provides support in all the right places. However, the delivery of the chair was a terrible experience that I am not sure it is worth the purchase. If you live in an apartment complex or don’t have open access to your house you may want to reconsider.
Love this chair, so glad we splurged on it. It is very comfortable and nice to feed in. Only downside is the spring mechanism for the leg rest is very strong and not suited at all for postpartum body as you are unable to activate / push it down without engaging your core a lot. I've needed physical assistance from hubby to lower the leg rest. Hoping with time, the spring will loosen and it gets easier to operate. Other than that it is a very comfortable chair and looks very stylish.
Stylish and good quality, but has some key issues that make it less than ideal as a feeding chair. I'm an average height of 160cm and this chair just doesn't quite fit.The arm rests are too high to rest your elbow on while feeding, but the chair isn't wide enough to allow for a regular cushion beside you.Reclining function is comfy, but there really should be a lever on both sides, as it's very hard to recline when you're using your right arm to support baby while feeding!Lastly, if you had a c-section, you'll find it almost impossible to get out of the chair once you recline, as it requires significant force to push the foot rest back down.If I had my time again, I would buy a regular rocker with a foot rest (for probably half the cost).
Good parts: glides smoothly, looks compact and cute. Not so good parts: the fabric is rougher on the skin than I expected, it’s nowhere near big enough for a bub and a toddler despite the ad suggesting otherwise, the arm rests are narrow and angular which means you can’t comfortably rest on them while you’re feeding bub (they sort of hit your elbows / bubs head as opposed to supporting them), if you fall into the sofa (which tired mums are bound to do) it almost falls backwards in a scary way. The spring loaded recline function is also annoying as you need to maintain all your pressure and body weight on it to avoid it springing back up, and you can’t move around at all when you’re trying to stay reclined. Overall wouldn’t recommend.
I’m so glad I brought this chair for myself. Second time round it’s been a treat. It’s incredibly comfortable to sit in and the rocking motion is smooth. After two months of use there is now a squeak when rocking. I use it multiple times a day for cuddling soothing or feeding baby. Getting the foot plate down was difficult to begin with, being shorter and post birth it takes a bit of strength to click it into place.
I searched for the perfect feeding/nursery chair for months, I really wanted cream fabric but it was hard to find. You won't regret splurging on the Quinn recliner, I've spent countless hours in the Quinn after the birth of my baby, often nap trapped in the early days.I'm so glad I purchased for quality and comfort, plus it looks great. When it is no longer needed in the nursery, it'll make a nice chair for another part of the house. The only slight negative is that it's hard to push the leg recliner back in, especially in the weeks after giving birth, when the core muscles are still recovering. It gets easier, but I wouldn't say seemless - it takes a little effort.I kind of wish I just paid the extra for the electronic recliner- but the Quinn is 5 🌟 for sure!
