Image Line Fruity Loops fl Studio 20 (Signature Edition) DAW

Normally I would never take the time to write a review...That being said, this time is different.It may sound like an exaggeration but when I say this program saved my life...I mean it.I had no idea what to do with my life before I found music..it’s something that when I first experienced it.Needless to say. It changed EVERYTHING.It has given my life a purpose and meaning.Growing up I never had very much, so music at least electronic music and production felt completely out of reach...I struggled with so much financially, I mean I really struggled. At one point I lived in an 8 by 12 shack with nothing but a bed, my maschine and my labtop.I didn’t even own a car. Many people may seem to underestimate FL STUDIO. But its' the best hands down! LIFETIME FREE UPDATES Is Key & The many features you get right out the box is just mind blowing, If your looking for that DAW that can still achieve the initial recording, edit, mix and master. It's FL STUDIONot to mention. You PAY ONCE for the product and you get all types of goodies! The set up is not hard at all and the details on the image line website brings you right to what you need. The only thing I dislike is that: It's not very equip like PRO TOOLS with like a "punch in" record setting. Maybe FL STUDIO could get this in the future!! This product certainly meets my expectations as just starting out and I would recommend this to ANYONE to be real with you. A Very Nice DAW - payment plan made this able to reach!

Overall:zZounds option to pay for this in payments have given me the ability to finally purchase my own copy! I am by no means a professional music maker. I like to mess around with this from time to time with its' built-in sounds. I am only constrained by my ability and if I can't figure it out, there are plenty of tutorial videos out there to figure this DAW out. The interface is easy to learn and not daunting at all. It encourages tinkering and easy to fix mistakes. Also when you buy a license, you have access to lifetime of free updates. No subscriptions!

Always the go to for especially creating music quickly.

I've always loved how FL Studio is so user-friendly, especially with the help of the YouTube community standing behind the product. For me, FL Studio has always met my expectations when wanting something that has a low learning curve and allows me to quickly get to creating music rather than spending countless hours on figuring out how to do something I think should be simple. Any technique or idea that I am trying to do is easily solved with a quick search on YouTube. So many YouTube influencers that are well-versed in using the DAW, are clutched with helping you gain an advanced skill set to keep you using FL Studio to it's maximum potential. Great buy that you won't regret!

For newbies and professionals

I am interessted in music making since end of 2019. So.. i tried to figure out wich programs are used by professional producers. At all, there are a lot of Digital Audio Workstations (DAW's) on the market. Big name are Ableton Live, Apple Logic Pro and FL Studio. Most of time i am working on Windows 10 and Arch-Linux. So Apple Logic Pro droped out for me.For both DAW's you will find a lot of free knowledgment. So i choose FL Studio cause AVICII, MARTIN GARRIX and other (for me) great Artists use(d) it.After 2 weeks playing a lot with the software and watching tons of videos, i can work with it. Also it isnt cheap and you can buy tons of extra external plugins (VST), but you will get a great tool kit to create awesome music. So if you ask me if i can recommend it for new producers, i would defintly say yes.By the way.. i also used the trick and bought the education licence, after that i upgraded it to an regular license.

Overall:This review gets 4 stars because I thought I'd get a USB. This is a lot of money to fork out for a manual with a code, but at least it comes with that. A digital download would just be a link, so I am getting more. I had to have Gross Beat and the payments at zZounds allowed me to get this version over the Producer Edition. This version also comes with a sampler. I made the choice to switch to FL Studio from Bitwig 8 Track, because I was spending all of my time modulating. I realized all of my sounds were useless with Bitwig. I was also limited to 8 tracks. I started off on FL Studio 11 demo, so I have an understanding of how it works. I'm using a computer with an i5 processor and the demo songs played without glitching, once I adjusted my settings. Having 30 tracks in a song running smoothly is key. The piano roll is arguably the best over any over daw. My weakness is playing midi piano parts, so being able to draw precise notes is beyond helpful. I know you can draw notes in any daw, but this piano roll is top notch. I couldn't find one modern day producer who used Bitwig. There is a reason for that. It cannot hold a candle to other daws. I gave up modulation and using toy sounds for something professional. I'll be able to create electronic music for the rest of my life now. I'll receive free updates for life. The Bitwig tutorials are very limited. FL Studio tutorials are everywhere. This isn't just beatmaking software. Martin Garrix uses FL Studio. This software is perfect for my experimental music. I enjoy using a few different kicks for one song. The dark layout is visually appealing. The included synths are pretty good, but don't expect Serum and Sylenth 1 caliber synths. The Mac compatibility will be perfect when I take the Mac route. This was a big feature years ago, as it was only Windows when I first started. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I will only buy from zZounds due to the easy payments. This was my second purchase and the one day free shipping was much appreciated.

World Class and Professional Reverb

I am a producer, synth pop song writer, and music video director. I have been fortunate to learn from the best in Los Angeles, including Grammy Award winner and recording engineer, Tom Weir. I assembled my dream studio over the past 2 years. I have a Lexicon outboard reverb, but could not afford the PCM hardware. I was thrilled to find out Lexicon put out an AAX plug in that works with Protools 11. My PC utilizes Windows 8.1, so the most recent Lexicon PCM Native Reverb Plug In did not work. Lexicon recommended uploading their previous version. This worked perfectly. I was able to download and run this plug in without problem in my other computer that has Windows 10 Professional as its OS. The reverbs are natural, lush, and smooth. They are truly world-class.
