Purchased this pasta maker for my adult daughter for her birthday…and we’ve made pasta 3x since we opened it less than a week ago! We may need to buy another because she’s going to take it home with her. Delivery was super fast and free! And prices were better than Amazon!

Bought a Jamie Oliver Pasta machine a few years ago........it was difficult to use no, actually it was useless. I even cut my finger while cleaning it (badly...I mean the finger) and it remained in the cupboard for years having used it twice.Bought one of these two weeks ago and used it 4 times. Its so easy to use and clean. The big difference however is the build quality. Solid mechanics and materials unlike the Jamie Oliver contraption which was very poorly built with the lowest possible quality parts and sheet metal.Highly recommend this product.

This product ranks about mid-level with regard to price, but for the average user there is no need to invest in pasta machines which cost over double the price, unless you are specifically buying the brand vs. machine. Likewise, many machines are available for 1/3 the cost, however the pasta machines at the very cheap end are not sturdy and do not last. This Italian model is extremely easy to use and also comes with various pasta recipes. The recipes are the only clear part of the instruction manual, as the "installation" instructions are about as useful as an Italian singing in your kitchen. Fortunately the machine does not actually require assembly; common sense (plus staring at the picture on the box) is all you need. The design aesthetic is important to me, ... MoreThis product ranks about mid-level with regard to price, but for the average user there is no need to invest in pasta machines which cost over double the price, unless you are specifically buying the brand vs. machine. Similar pasta machines in the same price-range have plastic parts (particularly the handle), whereas the Imeria is all metal and wood.

Sturdy, easy to clean. Feels like it will last a lifetime. Handmade pasta made with this machine is such a better eating experience. Only downside: quite difficult to find a good place to solidly immobilise the machine with the provided clamp, as my kitchen counter doesn't have a lot of overhang, and it does need to be anchored down when using it.
My daughter was doing her high school culinary class online. In researching pasta makers found this wondeful company. Placed the order at night and the next day was at my doorstep. Having never used a pasta machine before, this was easy to use and made beautiful pasta. Definitely would recommend for novice users.
So far it has worked like a dream. As long as you adhere to the ratio of one egg per hundred grams of flour I expect you should see similar results. The flat rollers produce very uniform sheets and when passed through the cutters, the resulting pasta looks as good as anything you've seen on any of the cooking shows. After spending hours on a bolognese sauce the small amount of time for the fresh pasta is so worth it to tie the dish together in my opinion.
Product was exactly as described on the website. Great weight in the machine. Very easy assembly and simple to use. Comes with really good instructions. First time making my own pasta and using a pasta machine and thrilled with the results. Hope to have the Imperia past machine for years to come. Handy that you can buy attachments also so may invest in a few in the future.
The past machine is amazing, I have used it 5 times in a month already and made both pasta and noodles. The cutting accessory is perfect for spaghetti and tagliatelle. The machine is heavy and sturdy. The machine is quite delicate, cannot be washed with direct water but can only be wiped clean with a damp cloth. If you don't have a strong brush make sure to buy one as the dough can get stuck in the rolls and mechanisms and without one it will be hard to get it out.Be very careful when moving and setting up the pasta machine!
I am using my machine with polymer clay. It works well to thin the clay. If I had known more about using pasta machines I would have purchased one with 7 thickness settings instead of the 5 on this machine. I also would have shopped for a machine that would accommodate wider slabs of clay. But this machine works fine for my beginning attempts at clay work. All in all, this is a great machine for me.
I have always had a Imperia pasta maker, but on my last move, it just got lost. I bought this one thinking it was new (that's what was stated in the ad). The box was all torn, and when I went to use it, I had to clean all the flour that was stuck in the crevices. It took awhile, but I was worth it. Overall, the machine is in good condition. I will be buying different cutters for my machine. I've made fresh linguini with clam sauce, and it was delicious!
