Incase City Collection Backpack - Black

This is a brilliant organiser briefcase backpack. I commute 5hrs a day 2-3 days a week and travel away for a few nights. The pockets mean I am well-organised, and it holds loads. Here's the list: 15" laptop, folder with A4 pad, gym kit (Tshirt, shorts, socks, small towel, Garmin watch and heartrate strap - no shoes, they are in my locker), laptop PSU, 350ml box of nuts and raisins, 0.5litre water bottle, ultralight Patagonia down jacket in 1l osprey sack, first aid/repair kit, compact umbrella, cotton sling bag, 2000mah battery pack, HDMI converter lead, wallet, coin purse, staff pass, gum, 2 snack bars, apple, banana, thermal gloves, VDU & sunglasses in cases, pen and pencil in case, magazine to read on the metro, waterproof cover, Tilley winter rain hat, business ... MoreThis is a brilliant organiser briefcase backpack. What would make it perfect is bigger hip pockets. I can squeeze in the iPhone 8plus IF I cut the interior lining, and DON'T put a case on the phones. I can then access them when on the move and tell if they are ringing as they vibrate through the shoulder straps. My working days involves moving between meetings on different floors in two separate buildings, so I never unpack, just live out of it all day. Making these pockets big enough for a big iPhone in a case would be a massive plus. I've never dropped a phone accessing it or putting it back when wearing the pack, but it means the phones never have a case on them. All round you wont be disappointed.

I came on here to look for a new backpack since the zipper on the main compartment finally let go. Was surprised to see it still for sale with zero functional updates and even in the same exterior color as the one I bought 5 years ago.I overstuffed mine regularly, keeping my work and personal laptops (Thinkpad and a MBP 15) on me often. I commute by motorcycle and even in light rain never had any problems with the contents inside getting wet.My favorite feature is by far the little furry pocket on top to put your phone, sunglasses or anything else that you want to keep from getting scratched but keep easily accessible. This backpack is the best backpack I've ever purchased. I was looking for something sleek and stylish that also managed the many needs of my day to day. The backpack looks excellent. It's comfortable to wear. It's made of great materials - it feels durable. There's a great many compartments. Lots of pockets. And most of all excellent 360 protection for my Laptop. I no longer need to carry my laptop in a sleeve. The only criticism I have is that the zips don't go far enough down the sides of the bag, and given that it is quite narrow, I sometimes find it difficult to retrieve items toward the bottom, or peer in to see what I'm trying to find; because it simply doesn't open as wide as I'd have liked.
