Please do not buy this laptop case. I've had to replace the case multiple times, and I cannot tell you how frustrating that is. I went to replace it just a few months ago because it had broke yet again, and their team told me I was not eligible for a replacement because the replacement case (THAT BROKE) had a tiny warranty period that I'd missed. This was not mentioned to me during any of the conversations I've had with their team, and to not be able to have a case on a device I use so regularly as a student really sucked. Please do not spend $70 on this case as I did.

I hadn't been using this case for more than a month when the edges started to crack off. My MacBook has never been dropped or mistreated and spends most of its time on my desk or in a padded laptop sleeve in my backpack and yet the small cracked edges have now turned into large splits across the top. Spending $50 on a plastic shell I expected it to be able to stand up to normal use for at least a year but nope. I can't imagine it would protect against anything but small scrapes, it can't even protect itself.

I'm a little disappointed. This MacBook Air case has the dots on the inside rather than the outside. I bought one a few months ago for my Macbook Pro and I love it. The dots make it a bit "grippy". Without them I've almost dropped my Air quick a few times - it is too smooth

I had been looking for a better case for my MacBook and the Incipio case is the best. The case fits so well and it stays in place regardless of the handling. The easy to grip “Dots” feature and the way the feet are imbedded, not simply glued on, make this a winner. I was so impressed with this case that I ordered another one for my wife’s computer!
The case arrived quickly and was packaged well. This was my second purchase from Syntricate (first purchase iPhone 13 Pro case) and the customer service is really good. The case was easy to apply and fits perfectly on my MacBook Air. I’ve read that other cases do not allow the laptop to open completely but this case is like a second skin and doesn’t interfere with the range of motion of the screen. Additionally, it is so thin that I can still fit my laptop into my leather rose gold sleeve. Extra protection! I haven’t dropped my laptop (and hope I never do) but this case appears to be very tough. It definitely protects the laptop from fingerprints and marks. Having used similar cases in the past, this product is exactly what I was looking for to accompany my new laptop. It offers great protection from scratches and scuffs but it is thin, so I do not expect it to save my laptop from any serious harm. Usually, with cases like these, the slim little pieces holding it to the laptop crack or break (I had a lot of hardshell cases throughout college) but this one feels good so far. It has a nice sleek look and a plain feel to it. It is not really textured to the touch - the dots are inside. I have not had any fingerprint issues as another review mentioned. Overall, good buy.
Sturdy hardshell case that’s easy to install. Still brand new, so time will tell how durable and lasting it is. However, laptop is seldom used and is carefully handled when it is. When not in use, it’s stored in its own designated drawer. Most likely, this hardshell case will last as long as the laptop itself. My only concern is the plastic material. I chose the non-colored “clear” case which may or may not stand up to yellowing or discoloration. Overall, it’s a great hardshell case.
This is the second Hardshell case for a laptop purchased last year.(missed the warranty by days). It takes a bit to get it to snap onto the top or bottom of computer. It easily becomes dislodged. I had it inside a slide-in cushioned case and the corners still cracked. I only transport it 2x a year. Luckily, the computer has not be affected.
I purchased a Mac Air M2 13.6" in Nov (2022 model). I wanted the Incase case as it had good reviews. They only had the one size. The OfficeWorks associate was convinced it would fit my 13.6" but it didn't. The depth on a 13.6" is slightly more and the height difference if this makes a difference to the side fit. Know before you buy.
My wife has had an Incase hardshell case on her MacBook Air that has held up since 2016. I got one for my Air this time a year ago since I was so impressed with hers, and mine has held up without flaw as well! We just bought one for her new MacBook Air since we decided we wouldn't use anything else given our positive experience with these! Just as a note: these fit very snugly and can require a little (not much) force to snap on fully, but we've had no issues with them coming off at all!
