Bought this a few weeks ago, mainly for protection for my recent Mac purchase, glad i did. Bought some off brand cases for my previous Mac that didn’t hold up well. While still relatively new, I don’t have any gripes about it yet. But would recommend over anything else. It’s form fitting and easily showcases the ports i need access to on the fly.

When I bought a 2021 MacBook Pro, bought an InCase case. But it did not have the port configuration for the 2021 model. So it didn't fit. I searched and searched for an alternative but just didn't find one of truly comparable quality. Finally InCase came out with a 2021 model and I bought it immediately. I am glad I waited. I had one for my old MacBook Pro which lasted five years and is still fine. This new one is the same high quality.

Other than the color options and the fact that it wasn't offered until 4 months AFTER the 16 inch m1 pro was released, I'm happy. This is literally the first legitimate “name brand” case released. Until now, only the off-brand “knockoff” players offered a case option for Apple's most recent design. I've owned a few of the cheapy ones sold on Amazon and they aren't even close with design/quality/etc. As soon as they offer more color options, I may buy another, but for now, I'm just happy this case option.

I bought this case after ordering one from a rival company, I am just going to name drop not even for Incase's sake but for sheer disappointment. First off, Speck has a review system of some sort that shows a product rating under each product but doesn't let you write a review...interesting... Second, I ordered this case after being disappointed in the competitor's quality. And not only did a receive a superior product, but the customer service was second to none. Ordered Wednesday got it Thursday. Insane. Third, the build quality of this case is great. No plastic hairs from molding, no unnecessary patent embossing plastered on the front of the case and no gummy feeling plastic. The plastic clips lock and the plastic is a hardshell plastic not a gummy pliable plastic. P.S. Speck's support team didn't even know they had M1 Pro MacBook cases when I contacted them, wild...
This was my first time ever investing so much into a case and unfortunately I'm disappointed and will be returning. The quality is great and looks great but on my 16" 2023 M2 Pro the case does not stay clipped on. Now I did have an Incase on my thin macbook air before and it was amazing. Very disappointed with this one though, should not be happening for such an expensive case. Also I got the dark one and it shows finger prints and smudges more than it should.
Overall, the case is excellent, in terms of look, feel, fit, and protection.The only issue is that some of the small pieces of plastic that 'clip' the case onto the bottom section of the Macbook have broken off. Fortunately, the case fits snuggly enough that it hasn't actually caused the case to fall off the computer.I bought the case 10 months ago, in March 2022.
This is my second hardshell case from InCase. The first one I had/have is for my 2020 MacBook Pro, which is still in pristine condition. It's saved the laptop from being scraped in the TSA line (pushing along the conveyer) and from general damage. This one is for the new 2021 MacBook Pro 16. I want to make sure I keep my $3000 equipment looking nice, and this works wonders. I haven't had any head issues, and the fitting is perfect. I appreciate the piece of mind I get from this purchase. It looks great as well, and doesn't add a significant amount of bulk.
I bought this case before getting the laptop, and after getting the email it was back in stock, I picked it up. While $40+ is a little high for a laptop case, I had faith in the brand. I had an Incase hardshell on my MacBook Air and it had not let me down once, despite me handling that machine pretty roughly. This case is no different, and after putting the laptop in it, I feel confident in its safety. Plus it's a great way to add stickers without commitment. Highly recommend.
I’m a loyal customer to incase but this case was a huge let down. Does it protect the laptop? Sure but I am not going to test the durability of it. The tabs to lock the case on are sharp and not something you watch to catch anything on. The tabs where your arms rest on the laptop are, again, extremely sharp and started scratching up my arms. I literally took an exacto knife and sanding paper to smooth them out. Should I have to do that? Absolutely not. I contacted them for a replacement and the same issue was still there. I guess I’m stuck with it now. Don’t waste your money on this one.
the case clips on easily and feels like it'll stay on. the material seems durable. it's pretty thin and lightweight - doesn't add bulk. I have a gray dots incase shell on my 13in work MBP and there are hairline cracks on the corners [which is typical and doesn't worry me], so I opted for a black case to hide the cracks better. for my sticker lovers, the surface is pretty smooth so make sure the adhesive on the sticker is strong! all in all, very happy with my case.
