The best thing I love about this is the colour match that it has for me - so I can vouch for this product having some really good colours. I also love that it's got such excellent natural ingredients. It blends right down into the skin too - a bit like a good BB cream would but be careful to just use a little bit at a time as too much at a time can make this formula hard to blend evenly over the face. Better than expected

I don't usually leave reviews for anything, but this foundation didn't have any and I thought it deserved better than that. This makeup is great - coverage isn't too light, not too cakey. Color is spot on without being orange or washed out. Usually 2 pumps is all it takes to cover my whole face, so I expect one very pricey tube to at least last a while. I hope. But, I even feel like my skin has improved in between make up days, so to me it's worth a re-purchase when the time comes.For reference I have very light skin (I purchased the color Cream and it matches my tone perfectly). Bit of a skin saviour really!

I’ve used this foundation every day for a good couple of years now and i love it. You can choose to have a very thin layer or build it up a bit more in places where you feel you need it. But the main thing for me is that it’s alcohol free and petro chemical free. I have really sensitive skin which is prone to rosacea and lumpy sore spots. Since using this foundation together with the sunscreen my skin has felt very happy and comfortable and i rarely now have a lumpy spot or a bout of rosacea. It feels like a protective layer of kindness because it has oils in it which are skin nourishing. All in all i would hate to be without it really and i hope that inika don’t ever decide to tinker with the recipe as it’s great stuff!

Cream shade perfect for the palest of skins

I purchased this foundation in cream, I am very pale and this suits the most palest of skins, if you have any hint of colour I would go for a darker shade as this is very pale almost porcelain. The formulation is rich and thick and as such you need to apply it very quickly otherwise it will cake. Only a small amount is needed, this is not a buildable formulation so apply one pump and spread very quickly over skin. Once you get the hang of applying it quickly, it looks lovely and gives a flawless medium/full coverage that looks completely natural and it doesn't settle into fine lines or highlight dry patches or open pores. It's strange though as despite my face feeling like an oil slick it doesn't look particularly shiny so that's a plus as I hate a shiny face. The coverage lasts all day long although be prepared to use more powder touch ups than usual. It really nourishes skin and has improved my skin's condition so much that I no longer have any dry peeling patches at all and my skin is more glowing. Unfortunately as I already have very oily skin, I am getting slightly more breakouts with this one which is a shame as other than that it's one of the best natural foundations I've tried for coverage. For me the pros are: the perfect cream shade for the palest of skin with no hint of orange, pink or yellow, completely natural looking despite giving a medium to full coverage that hides all flaws, long wearing formula lasts a good 8 hours or more, ultra flattering on mature skin leaving skin looking younger, improves skin's condition and radiance, doesn't make skin look shiny. Cons: Not ideal for oily skin as you can feel an oily film on your skin all day, need to use extra powder throughout the day to absorb this oil, need to apply very quickly otherwise it turns into a cakey mess and incompatible with any serums that contain silicone (it cakes and balls up if applied over these). I'm not sure I would purchase again as it's not by any means perfect but I feel confident wearing this foundation and it's almost as good as my favourite non-natural Chanel foundation.

Favourite

This is my new favourite. I was attracted to Inika because of the natural ingredients and comparative safety of their products compared to other brands. I have been so pleasantly surprised to find out that their products are not only natural but also much better. I love how easy this foundation is to apply, the flawless and natural coverage it gives and it lasts all day. Excellent product and feels great on my skin.

Great foundation!

I used to wear powder foundation, then when I got into my thirties and started getting fine lines, the powder foundation really showed it. I realized that I needed a liquid foundation. Of course being someone who started using all natural beauty products, I needed one that had good ingredients. I tried Burt's bees and struggled with the color and then I found Inika. The color is like flawless, blends in wonderfully and looks so natural. Even the powder foundation I used to wear would start to look like it was tinted grey if I put it on heavy so it's such a relief to find a product that just looks like my natural skin color! The product is very moist so that helps keep it smooth and not cakey. This has been my foundation for several years now. It's worth the price.

It's okay, could be better

I do like that this foundation is not oily and shiny yet it is not too drying either. It does not have much smell which is a great benefit for me (I can't stand strong smells in foundations or make up in general for that matter). Colour matching is pretty accurate, coverage is light to medium.It says it's buildable but in my experience it is not, it becomes cakey.The downside of this foundation is that it dries fairly quickly on the face so you have to be quick to spread it evenly. It does tend to "hold on" to dry skin - not a good look.

Perfect! Natural and glowing

This foundation is so lovely I have to write a review applauding it!I am a pale skinned 33 year old, and although I have nice skin, I have found that the last handful of years it just hasn't been popping like it did in my 20s. I use lovely creams and oils but still found that recently foundation has left me looking gaunt or it dries and slightly flakes in certain places, or the coverage or tone is weak. I have combination skin and don't wear that much make up, prioritising skin care. Smooth Texture and Natural

A little goes a long way - I only need very little to provide a good coverage. The texture is smooth, not dry or flaky. Unfortunately, the colour Honey is too dark for my medium warm tone Asian skin despite reviews stating otherwise. I would have given it a 5-star rating if not for that. I have ordered the Nude colour, but it hasn't arrived yet for me to tell if it suits my skin tone and write a review. Advisable to purchase the sample colours to be sure. Guess I will use the Honey colour during the height of summer when I will be tanned from frequenting the beach.

a new clean look

I am a 75 year old woman who cares very much about using the best, safest products for my skin. I can, literally, open a store with all the different products I have tried over the years.I must say I was very impressed with this foundation. It is light weight and covers beautifully.
