I purchased this foundation in cream, I am very pale and this suits the most palest of skins, if you have any hint of colour I would go for a darker shade as this is very pale almost porcelain. The formulation is rich and thick and as such you need to apply it very quickly otherwise it will cake. Only a small amount is needed, this is not a buildable formulation so apply one pump and spread very quickly over skin. Once you get the hang of applying it quickly, it looks lovely and gives a flawless medium/full coverage that looks completely natural and it doesn't settle into fine lines or highlight dry patches or open pores. It's strange though as despite my face feeling like an oil slick it doesn't look particularly shiny so that's a plus as I hate a shiny face. The coverage lasts all day long although be prepared to use more powder touch ups than usual. It really nourishes skin and has improved my skin's condition so much that I no longer have any dry peeling patches at all and my skin is more glowing. Unfortunately as I already have very oily skin, I am getting slightly more breakouts with this one which is a shame as other than that it's one of the best natural foundations I've tried for coverage. For me the pros are: the perfect cream shade for the palest of skin with no hint of orange, pink or yellow, completely natural looking despite giving a medium to full coverage that hides all flaws, long wearing formula lasts a good 8 hours or more, ultra flattering on mature skin leaving skin looking younger, improves skin's condition and radiance, doesn't make skin look shiny. Cons: Not ideal for oily skin as you can feel an oily film on your skin all day, need to use extra powder throughout the day to absorb this oil, need to apply very quickly otherwise it turns into a cakey mess and incompatible with any serums that contain silicone (it cakes and balls up if applied over these). I'm not sure I would purchase again as it's not by any means perfect but I feel confident wearing this foundation and it's almost as good as my favourite non-natural Chanel foundation.

I purchased the kit for dewy skin. This foundation is fabulous. I can’t wait to order full size. All the products. Cream blush, bronzer and concealer are just so great on my skin. Very long lasting and great for mature skin as it does not feel caked. Huge new fan!

I used to wear powder foundation, then when I got into my thirties and started getting fine lines, the powder foundation really showed it. I realized that I needed a liquid foundation. Of course being someone who started using all natural beauty products, I needed one that had good ingredients. I tried Burt's bees and struggled with the color and then I found Inika. The color is like flawless, blends in wonderfully and looks so natural. Even the powder foundation I used to wear would start to look like it was tinted grey if I put it on heavy so it's such a relief to find a product that just looks like my natural skin color! The product is very moist so that helps keep it smooth and not cakey. This has been my foundation for several years now. It's worth the price.
