I purchased 2 black pairs and 1 white pair of the Original Weight Mini-Crew. I rotate between the pairs, and they probably have about 100 miles on them each. I've always just machine-washed and dried on low heat (or hung to dry). The socks are holding up well (no holes, thin spots, or other visible wear and tear). They don't prevent my feet from sweating, but they do dry out fairly quickly (vs. wool) once shoes are off. I do find them a bit cold in trail runners if I'm not actively moving.Best thing is that they prevent toe blisters on longer hikes! My only advice is maybe avoid white due to dirt.

If your on the fence because of price, they are worth it. These are not novelty socks there are just as nice as any of the high brand sport socks on the Market. Make sure you read before you buy because they have like 4 different thicknesses from liners to boot socks. They are also sized differently also, so pay attention. I had problems with frequent ingrown toe nails until I started wearing these socks now they are the only brand I wear. Well worth the money and effort.

I used to get frequent blisters with my SmartWool socks. Then I started pre-hike duct taping my problem toes and never had a problem. But I didn't want to make it a morning backpacking routine to have to tape my toes. Switched to these Injinji and no blisters so far. I've used them for somewhere around 200 miles. I am a true convert. Only downsides - it takes me a long time to put the socks on and as others have said...they STINK. They really hold in the smell. But when you backpack, everything starts to smell so it's not really a problem to me.

I took 5 pairs of these on the Mt. Rainier National Park's Wonderland Trail in June of 2013 and they worked great.50+ miles of train up on Mt. Si, WA in May. Over the course of 9 days and 103 miles of the Wonderland Trail in June, hiking 60 miles and snowshoeing 43 miles to complete it, these socks left me with zero hot spots or blisters. They stay put, are very snug, and don't fall down or become loose like most other socks. Used in combination with Merrell Proterra Mid Gore-tex hiking boots. Feet stayed warm, even in camp at night and dried out very quickly when they became wet from sweat or water.I would have given these socks 5 stars but they wore down in several spots where the friction was heaviest, however they did serve their purpose as I always intended ... MoreI took 5 pairs of these on the Mt. I have wide feet, pizza shaped, like a hobbit from Lord of the Rings. Finding suitable socks isn't easy. The Injinji Sport Original Weight Crew Socks are extremely comfortable and excellent quality. They are a great choice if you have feet shaped like mine. I am a UK size 9.5 and purchased the 10-12 which was the right decision. If you are between sizes, size up, especially if you have wider feet. I recently purchased a large pair of Darn Tough socks and, while they are excellent quality, they are far too narrow for wide feet so beware if this applies to you.
I have had trouble with blisters on my toes when walking long distances. I tried one pair of these socks to see if they would help. They did. I haven't had any blisters since. I am very satisfied. They fit good. They are not to big for my shoes. I'm very satisfied.
I bought these a couple weeks ago in an effort to solve some foot issues, ie pain in the ball of one foot. They were suggested by a sales person who had worn them. They felt strange to put them on after wearing traditional wool hiking socks, but they "straightened my feet out" so that I felt more stable and my toes spread through the toe box of my boots better. I've hiked in them several times now, approximately five miles each time, without any pain in my foot. I'm anxious to try them out on longer distances soon. Only drawback, they only come in black, but I guess they won't show dirt, right? Also had to buy the men's to avoid too tight compression over the arch of my feet.
I originally bought these for use in OCR and trail running races where there was a high likelihood of blistering because of wet and muddy conditions. They've held up great, although I've since lost one of them :( But I'll gladly purchase again. For people extra prone to blistering, I've found it can help a little to lubricate the toes before wearing the socks, but either way, these did a great job protecting my feet. For reference, I am around 6.5 shoe size with a pretty narrow foot and had the small.
The socks are much longer than the photos indicate, and although they are called crew socks, they are significantly longer than the other Injinji crew socks (trail crew, running crew). They’re comfortable but be ware of the length issue..Quick shipping was good, however I made two enquiries to customer service re exchanging them due to the length issue, and still have not heard back.
As a New Year's resolution, I decided to try and run a marathon this year at the age of 54. I'm a pretty big guy at 6'2", 205 lbs and had not ran more than 4 miles straight in the past 10 years (but do play rec soccer). My feet would sweat so much that the nails would dig into the other toes. Not any more! Last weekend I completed my first (and who knows maybe last) marathon of 26.5 miles and my feet stayed dry the entire time thanks to great shoes and these fabulous toe socks. I will never run more than 3 miles without them again.
