I'll start with the good, great image quality, waterproof, tons of editing options, well built, small. For the not so good; poor instructions for hardware use, tiny touch screen, fidgity little charging door, so many editing options but no instructions on how to use the software. Have to rely on youtube videos.

Best action camera in the market right now. The software is very user friendly, footages can be easily edited on your cell phone. The video quality is unparalleled, the mic is on point. I love everything about this camera, definitely recommend this over GoPro.
Being that their 1 inch sensor comes with the lens guard, this module should definitely come with it also. I didn’t even realize that you could purchase it separately. Once you put this camera on a selfie stick, or in its case, unless you screw it directly to a tripod, chances are when you put it down it will topple to the side. Each side has a lens that is very convex. The first day that I got the camera, it kept toppling from side to side and I was worried that the lens would get scratched. On my first excursion out with the camera, I had it on a selfie stick and I did lay it on its side, but then it accidentally got knocked over, and the lens got scratched, and there is a gouge about a quarter of an inch. After getting on the website, and then finding out I needed to email the service department to get an RMA number and explain it, and find the serial number, it took close to an hour. Nobody from the company ever emailed me an RMA number, and now I do not have use of the dual lens module. Being that this is an action camera and people will be moving around with it, I can’t see how the lens would not get scratched. Therefore, The company should include the lens guards with your purchase. And not make you spend an extra 30 bucks. The quality seems to be very good. But another caveat is that I took it underwater, it worked for a few minutes. Then water Somehow got into the bottom of it, and the video froze, and none of the buttons worked. Therefore I could not save the final video and it was lost. Luckily I dried the camera out and it does work fine. But I don’t know how they can call this camera waterproof. I did try it again with the one inch sensor module, and I only brought it underwater for very brief periods. Under 30 seconds each, and it did work without fail.
The whole Insta360 one R range is a pleasure to use, with really pleasing shots.I've used a lot of consumer grade 360 cameras, and this is the best image quality, with the most ease of use.
I love the ability to easily re-frame a video or photo to look in any direction AFTER the fact. I like it so much that this was actually a replacement for my first 360 lens that got scratched - the reason why I also purchased the Lens Guards this time.
This has become my main video camera. I shoot 60%-70% of all my published content on Insta360 cameras. The camera is so versatile that I use it for b-roll, vlogging, 2nd camera, and on a drone to get a more immersive shoot that is more flexible in post.
The insta360 camera mod is the best video cam Ive ever owned. I tried the invisible selfie stick while bike riding, its like a drone following me shooting at 4k 30. I cant give a 5 stars because of the insta360 app on my cellphone. Its too buggy it often crashes and its not user friendly. It took me a week to figure it out how to edit videos and convert it to 1080p because 4k video is a big file. But overall Im satisfied with the purchase of insta360 camera.
