I was on the fence about getting an air fryer, but then I saw this small one go on sale and I thought it couldn’t hurt to try. I love it! The basket is small but holds enough for one or two servings. I don’t use it for any health benefits, but I love it as a replacement for the oven when I just need a small batch of something. It heats up far more quickly than a full oven and cooks things more quickly. My favourite things to cook in here are roast vegetables of any kind. They make killer roast potatoes, broccoli, asparagus, you name it. The unit is compact and perfect for my small kitchen. I love that it warms up and beeps when it’s ready to add food. The roll must have shifted as I inserted the tray and contacted the heating coil because less than a minute later, black smoke started to billow out. Turned off machine immediately and let it cool off. Tried the baking soda and water paste method instant pot customer service recommended to get the blackened, burned bread off the coil but didn’t work so I had to return it and will buy a new vortex. Lesson learned!I really loved my mini vortex and am not hesitating to buy a replacement.

Cooks 1 lb. of fries in under 10 minutes. Does the same with chicken wings, ... crispy edge to edge and because it heats them so quickly they stay moist and tender inside. Wings tossed in 5 spice with a bit of smoked paprika, a few drops of fish sauce, a little corn starch, ... better than restaurant ... Also the best price on the internet for the mini. Highly recommend trying this one. Consider the technology here. A round stove top element pointing down above your food with a big fan above it. My oven is broken and it’s difficult to make the kiddo fries in the table top convection, so I had really high hopes for this product; but they were crushed. I watched a couple of you tube videos, unboxed it, read the direction several times, cleaned it and attempted to perform the pre-test three different times after referring back to the instruction manual. I also tried resetting it various times, as well as unplugging and replugging, and turning the sounds off/on. First of all, the timer doesn’t appear to work as it would not count down the time, nor would the product turn itself off o VW the time passed. It also didn’t ding to let me know to turn the food. REALLY like this Air Fryer and use it nearly every day. Its easy to operate. French fries are delicious cooked in it on Airfry, without grease in them. Cooking time is faster without having a hot kitchen. It's perfect for prep of a meal for one person. I put items together in it to air fry, and all comes out good. I received this in just a few days. Perfect size for 1-2 servings of French fries. Still getting use to the Air fry setting but the baking setting works great. When your a single person this all in one air fryer has the perfect footprint for one serving of food to bake. This makes it easy for less mess and clean up at the end. Have tried chicken wings, french fries, pizza bites and has been working out great. Would recommend if your a single person cooking for yourself and maybe one other person but for family use it maybe to small. Would have to cook several batches of food to have enough for a family of 3 or more.
This is the second purchase i bought. a few months ago I bought a mini air fryer for my mom. She was very happy & made it easy to reheat fries/burgers etc. so they were warm n crispy again, although not optimal.Then my mom advised me to use it for myself. because I was busy in work. When i go home i fill tired.So with airfryer I can serve my dinner, breakfast anytime so quick in just a few minutes without oil. I'm sure it's the right choice for me makes my cooking work easier.
I only wish we had these when we had a young family, it's brilliant. This size is perfect for the single person, but there's room for two of most things, including a couple of fat scotch fillet steaks. A few beer battered fries on a chilly afternoon? Will do a small roast and cooking guide time is either 20% less temp or 20% less cooking time. Easy warming up guide leaves food juicy and delicious. Hasn't failed me yet, just love it!
I love this little fryer! I wanted an air fryer but live in a small one bedroom condo so was looking for something I had space for. This is so cute and fits on my countertop without looking like an eye sore.I've used it approximately 10-12 times since getting it a month or so ago. So far so good! Very user friendly, and does exactly what I need.It is SMALL. The basket fits 2 Jamaican patties without stacking, or about one potato sliced into fries. It works for two people but is the perfect size for one.I love how sleek it is! I would recommend it, especially if you're just getting into air frying like me.
