Instant Pot Ipduo60 Plus 9in1 Multifunctional Pressure Cooker 6 Qt

I have cooked 4 meals a day for the last 2 years in my 3 qt Instant Pot Duo and love it. It is so important to me I wanted to have a spare so I bought this 3 qt Instant Pot Duo Plus a month ago and it is even better. I love the steam release switch and the improved display with preheat and cooking indicators. The pot and gaskets and cord are interchangeable between the Duo and Duo Plus. I can even switch the lid but only the Duo Plus has the steam release switch. The Duo and Duo Plus have identical cook times (fast). The 3 qt size is plenty for me since I live alone. I takes up a lot less counter space and uses less electricity than the larger sizes..

Everything you need in one!

Very pleased with my purchase of the 8L Duo Plus. No longer need a pressure cooker or big slow cook taking up space in my cupboard. So convenient it does everything in one appliance! At first I was nervous about how to use it but after watching some videos and giving it a go I realised how simple it is! Whether I’m in a pinch and need a quick meal for the family, or if I have more time and can slow cook a roast, I can adjust the time and pressure as needed. I also sterilise jars for preserves, make stock, and am looking forward to trying the yogurt making function. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially busy mums wanting healthy meals for their families from scratch without all the different appliances taking up cupboard space!

Great appliance

I’m really enjoying this appliance so far. I would recommend finding online recipes for the pressure cooking. The recommended app didn’t have as much info and recipes as I wanted to investigate. Best comprehensive site is paintthekitchenred.com So far we’ve tried rice, chicken curry (amazingly tender), and chickpeas for hummus, all great. The pot is very easy to use and clean. The control panel is easy to navigate and see what stage the cooking has reached. I can see us making good use of the delayed start and keep warm functions for when we want a meal to come home to but not sure exactly when we’ll be home. Reheating meals is also easy, especially for larger amounts, 2 or more servings and gives us better results for some things than microwave reheating individual ... MoreI’m really enjoying this appliance so far. Impressive Little Marvel, Fantastic, Safe

I bought this as a companion to my 8 qt, Duo Evo Plus and am equally impressed with its ability to perform and ease of use. Thank you IP for including all of the best feature in this little marvel of a pot. I like the practicalityand flexibility of starting a recipe with less minimum liquid and prepairing smaller portions. It is fantastic that meat can be safely processed from frozen solid to tender and juicy, in minutes, without burning. And, that it weighs half of what my 8 qt weighs is a plus. The amazing diversity of media available make the learning curve a good journey. Thanks IP.

Should have bought one sooner!

Really pleased with my Instant Pot. It has replaced an aging electric rice cooker, and is an ideal size for batch cooking. I haven't used all of its functions yet, but it's simple to operate (you can literally set it and forget it) and super easy to clean. So far I've made Lemon Chicken (using an Instant Pot recipe, off the app - very easy); cooked a luscious gammon joint in half the time it would take on the stove top; perfected the timings for perfect Basmati rice every time, and made a litre of natural yoghurt. Very pleased that a spare silicon seal was included too. It's quite early days, but I think my Instant Pot will quickly become indispensable. Should have bought one ages ago!

The best stainless steel pressure cooker, a good slow cooker and a great yogurt maker for the best price!

I was on the hunt to find a stainless steel pressure cooker, slow cooker and yogurt maker and I was so pleased to find this one for such a reasonable price too! I’ve only had it for about a week but have already used it to make poached eggs with the sauté setting, pressure cooked butter chicken and slow cooked lamb leg. I currently have my first batch on yogurt fermenting in it too!I do have to mention I rated it 4 stars because the slow cooker function does take a bit to get used to as it doesn’t seem to heat up very quickly in this mode but you can get around it by sautéing your ingredients before slow cooking. The ultimate easy to use and clean multi purpose Multi Cooker

I absolutely love this Instant Pot, having just moved interstate i left my old kitchen bits behind, so it has replaced my old pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, Sous Vide machine and jam pan. I just made a whole batch of Marmalade which set really well. It cooks to absolute perfection as the heat, time and pressure is controlled precisely. It honestly is super simple and easy to use and clean, it’s just one pot.I wish i had this Instant Pot many years ago as it saves so much time and space in the kitchen. Absolutely 5 stars, would definitely recommend.

Ticks a lot of boxes

Fantastic product. I hate cluttering my kitchen with more appliances than absolutely necessary but this has been a game changer in a number of ways already. I bought this for doing home mushroom growing (pressure cooking stuff to sterilise it is a must) but tried it out making yoghurt and it way exceeded my expectations. I've made yoghurt a lot just pasteurising on the stove and incubating in an easiyo, but the instant pot got much better results. I didn't have to watch the milk constantly to avoid overheating it, and it maintained a great incubation temp for high quality tasty yoghurt. It also cooks rice really well, I got some brown rice done in 15 minutes using the pressure cook function.

Very useful

Very useful, especially when you don't have much time to cook. You can set a delayed start and food will be ready when a certain time. I mainly use the pressure cooking function to cook long-cooking products ( tongue, hearts), which takes twice times less than cooking on the stove. Cooking progress bar shows the cooking progress in different Smart Programmes and modes. 8 from 12 programms are pressure cooking. You can adjust pressure level, cooking time and temperature. Easy to clean. I didn't like the sound, but you can turn it off, which is what I did. Size is good for a family of 2 people. The delivery was fast.

Wow. I've never used a pressure cooker, normally I do crockpot things. It took me about 30 mins to get it out and read through the instructions. I felt nervous and also watched a few YouTubes on how to operate it. I found a recipe I wanted to try, pork carnitas. I was unsure of how it would do because not being able to see the food or temp when needed was odd to me. But I put my faith in it and followed the recipe to a t. It came out fantastic 😍 super fall apart and juicy flavored well. The timing was perfect and it was super fast! The time to set up, prep my meat and get it in the insta pot, build pressure, cook then release was less than 2 hours. And for a tender fall apart pork shoulder it was great!
