Highly capable processor.All cores in 4.9 GHz combined with a Z560 chipset draining 125W flat.Could have been 65 Watts, but giving in consideration that's a 10nm process CPU, a 5600X it's a far reliable choice in terms of electricity cost.Plus, there's a multitude of boards for 5600X that can support OC to 95 and bring the CPU at 4.9 GHz or even higher with the correct settings.Intel needs to step up with their Nano technologies.

Upgraded from an i5 6600k and I have not looked back. The KF edition was also cheaper than the i5 11600K which is perfect as I did not need the internal gpu found in the no KF version.

Although last gen, this is still a great CPU. Now Alder Lake is out, the current pricing means this offers really good price to performance.

Works like a dream compared to the old quad core.
The very good price point for gaming. Being KF saving $40 for no igpu. The benefit of 6 core vs 8 core is less heat higher average clocks. Should be suitable for another 2 more years and a good way to save and spend more on the GPU of any build.

This is the CPU I should have bought with the motherboard but saved a bit of money on a new build with an i5-10600K. Didn't need the built-in video, so the 11600KF was perfect for my build. Haven't overclocked it since it runs fast enough, for now. Have liquid cooling ordered to replace a CM212 air cooler. My old i5-10600K would run 5.0Ghz without a complaint on air, so expect about the same with the i5-11600KF.
I'd recommend it if it were cheaper than the AMD alternatives - otherwise go with the AMD for the increased power efficiency. Despite this I'm happy with my choice. Runs very well on: ASRock H570M PRO4 motherboard 2x 16GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4-3000 ASUS RTX 3070 Dual + ASUS ROG 750w Strix PSU (came bundled with the video card) Reminder that since this is an "F" model you WILL need a video card of some kind as there are no integrated graphics!
