Intex 12' x 30" Metal Frame Above Ground Pool with Filter Pump

Easy to setup and a blast to play in, we since upgraded to the 16’x42” model for a deeper experience. Pool is so easy to assemble and even tho it flexes when you push off the side of the wall it is very sturdy and designed to. Liner has held up for 5 years now. The only negative to this and my current pool are the included pump. The pump is trash and barely moves water. If you have any trees nearby you better be diligent on clean up if you hope this pump can keep up. Basically everyone who buys this and similar pools instantly buys a new pump that’s bigger and more powerful so keep that in mind when your pricing one out. Besides that no regrets we all love our Intex pool!

Crap!!!!

Do not buy!!!!! I bought because it’s advertised with a locking ladder. It’s NOT. It’s the cheap flimsy ladders. That don’t lock. Doesn’t even come with pins to lock in to the poles for the pool to be put together. I really should have read the reviews. I contacted Walmart about returning it. They said to email the company. I did. No response. I contacted Walmart again to let them know that they didn’t return my email. Walmart said they were going to email me a shipping label. They never did. I contacted Walmart again a week later to let them know that I never got the label. They told me to contact the original seller again. Still nothing. Then they try to tell me to return it into store. Great

It's a good size for toddlers to start swimming in. We play in it everyday she never wants to get out of it. What I didn't like is that the pump didn't come with it it came with the hoses and hookups there is no where to find a pump at for it. I thought a pump would of came with it where it had everything for it. It's still a great pool though don't get me wrong they should came with a pump for it. I differently recommend but make sure you get a pump with it or buy one for it. It took about 40mins to put it together and it took about 3 hours to fill it. It was ready that day to go and swim in it.

Great pool!

This is a really nice Intex 15ft x 42 in Prism Metal Frame pool. The setup is pretty easy and straightforward, although you will need a very level area. I usually put up the Intex pool with the inflatable ring on top every year in the same spot so I just needed to do a little extra prep for a metal frame pool. Big enough size for the whole family to cool off on a 100 degree day. We already had an upgraded sand filter so we use that instead of the one it came with. It has all a ladder as well. We also don't bother with a ground cover.

Has leak straight out of the box.

Got my pool today, box and contents in perfect condition. Set up pool on a cement pad with outdoor rug so that there is protection between pool and concrete. Assembled just fine, put the hose in to fill and left it alone for 2 hours. Went to check on it and it was about 1/3 full and water was coming out from somewhere under the pool. Obviously has a leak somewhere that i know have to locate. Bought this pool to replace one of those inflatable ring pools thinking it would be better quality. Disappointed to say the least. I was hoping the other reviews about leaks were just rare instances. Guess not. These pools could definitely use better quality control. Having to return a pool is a pain.

Looks daunting, but isn't

First of all, I expected much more metal framing on this pool. Only the legs were metal, so keep that in mind. The pool looks daunting when you open it all up.. lots of parts and instructions. It came with pump parts, but no pump so also keep that in mind. Putting it together though really was a work of a minute. It was super easy and only took my husband and myself to have it up and ready to fill within 20 minutes. So far it's held up well and we love it! It's a great way to cool off in summer heat

Perfect pool to play in!

Love this pool! Think kiddie pool times 10. For a hot summer day we want a place to sit and splash a bit. Perfect size for the 5 of us to hang out in as we cool off. We can sit on the bottom with our head/shoulders out of the water...or the littles can stand up. No treading water necessary, yet large and deep enough to swim around.Paired with our salt water pump kit this was a steal kind of a deal. Assembly was easy, though awkward for one person; so have someone to hold the poles as you work around to set them up.Absolutely the pool for our needs!

It took about an hour to put together including building the ladder. Building the pool is pretty self explanatory just by looking at the pieces and I have experience in building a pool just like this one so it wasn’t tricky at all. It also took 5 hours to fill up so the pool was completely ready to be used within one day. The pump and filter were also very easy to assemble. I would definitely recommend buying this pool. Summer fun swimming pool

This Intex 12ft X 30in Metal Frame Pool is super cool. It comes with instructions and all the parts needed. It is easy to set up and takes approximately half an hour. This pool is super durable with strong steel frames which are powder coated for rust resistance and beauty. This walls are very strong and remains firmly in place. This pool is super fun for my kids and family. We are at Texas and this pool is super summer fun for us. It's easy to dismantle as store away when not in use.

The hose connections on the pool itself are flimsy tubes made on to the pool. The hoses have to be tied up with rope to top rail of pool to support them so they don’t rip the connections on pool sides off. Also no provision to shut the water flow off to and from the pool from the pump. When we need to change filter in pump you have to find something to plug the hose connection in pool to keep water from running out. The pump and hose is a bad design.
