I HAD air mattresses that were very big and bulky. These serve my need. Have pop in guests who spend the night, I pull out these mattresses that are tucked away in the linen closet, and my overnight guest sleep comfortably. That are a great solution that fit anyone’s budget, don’t take much storage space and, most of all, serve their purpose comfortably.

This product does not hold air for long at all. filled it late at night and my guest was sleeping on the floor by morning. I'm so sick of wasting money on these products. I think I'm going to just get a real bed and make a spot for it in my home. My guests deserve to have a good nights sleep.

I was originally trying to find a twin that was 80" in length to fit my 6' tall body and not have my pillow fall off the back while sleeping in my tent, that search was not successful but led me to this mattress.I am happy to say it fit me and my pillow just right, but i still place my duffel behind the mattress while sleeping to keep it from falling off the back.I also did not want a mattress that was 8" higher than it needs to be for camping in a tent, like the double height ones, they are too high and too cumbersome to deal with while camping. This mattress is quite comfortable and i slept on it for 3 days in a row at VIR for the ALMS race and slept great, far nicer than my old mattress and at a great sale price.Unfortunately it looks like these won't be ... MoreI was originally trying to find a twin that was 80" in length to fit my 6' tall body and not have my pillow fall off the back while sleeping in my tent, that search was not successful but led me to this mattress.I am happy to say it fit me and my pillow just right, but i still place my duffel behind the mattress while sleeping to keep it from falling off the back.I also did not want a mattress that was 8" higher than it needs to be for camping in a tent, like the double height ones, they are too high and too cumbersome to deal with while camping. This mattress is quite comfortable and i slept on it for 3 days in a row at VIR for the ALMS race and slept great, far nicer than my old mattress and at a great sale price.Unfortunately it looks like these won't be carried in stores and are onle available online until gone.Get one while you still can!

It came a day early and came in very good condition as well as very great packaging. I have blown it up and used it and it looks good and feels comfortable to lay on. I do recommend using an air pump to blow it up because its much faster. I tried the foot pump and it was just taking too long and barely blowing up so I used an air pump instead and was able to get it blown up completely within 5-10 minutes.
I bought two of these for some teenage house guests. They were still holding air after sleeping on them for a week. I'd say that I got my money's worth.
The pump, with new batteries, died before the mattress was even inflated. Luckily my friend had brought a pump that actually worked since we were camping. The mattress deflated the first night and would not hold air for more than a few hours. The store wouldn’t let me return or give me a store credit because the box had been opened - they’d only let me upgrade to a “better” item. I left the item and will not do business with Big 5 again.
I have had this for 4 months. The inner beams are too thin. It had a cataclysmic failure in one of the inner beams and caused a huge bulge on both top and bottom of the mattress. This causes the occupant to be able to use only one side. Feels as if some one else is in the bed. Was getting worse fast.Pros: The valve system is incredible. Filling has great one way valve. Completely unclips for rapid deflation.Never leaked.Incredible durable outer shell of very thick plastic.I believe if the same grade was used inside this would be a lifetime mattress.
I bought 2, one was punched out with tiny twig on grass when I laid on it, before it was ever used. The other one worked well. I liked the valves. Perhaps all other air mattresses would have punched the same. I would recommend not laying on grass, just inside tent, and I plan to bring tarp to put inder tent.
Slept on this mattress the first outing for 3 nights and it worked as expected. Just came back from a trip where we discovered a leak at the valve and it would deflate in under 30 minutes. Disappointed to say the least.
I've only had a chance to use the mattress once, but found it to be comfortable and able to hold the air without leaking. The pump that comes with it works well when mattress is flat, but begins to strain a bit when the mattress is almost full. Not sure how long the pump will last based upon the way it sounds at that time, but so far...so good! :)
