Absolutely love this greywood spa. Best Buy ever. Easy to setup. Strong. The bubbles are awesome. Weve had it for 2 weeks now. It gets nice and hot. Although for summer I like the temp at 30. Havent tried the app yet. Delivery to WA took 5 days. My only

The directions in the manual are easy to follow and setup was no problem. Placing it in the best area and having it covered well under our terrace and canopy keeps it clean and out of the direct sun. We use this Spa almost everyday. I suffer from a lower spine injury and this has helped immensely with taking pressure of the broken disc. Heating and filtering work great and the bubbles are fantastic! Make sure you find the right chemicals to use and the amount. Its holds 250-300 gallons of water and is perfect for just the two of us (myself and my wife). Labeling it a 6 person Hot Tub is pushing the personal boundaries I would say. Stretching in this amazing Spa that Intex has created is heaven for the both of us and highly recommend it. A rating from us.

You’re not really buying this pool you’re just renting it until it breaks. When it does break you’ll find out there’s a rod inside the motor that breaks. You then have to go to YouTube to get help because nobody at InTEXT answers the phone. If you bought it at Walmart they are not responsible either and nobody knows what to do. Pay twice as much for a better product because it is a pain to rip it down and have it hauled out of your yard. You can try calling a pool store and they have the same problem there’s no parts and nobody knows how to fix it.

Great spa except for 2 annoying functions/features.1. control lock function. I'm not sure why a user would want a lock but to have it on all the time with out any method to disable is just poor design and planning. This may have a good idea in design but in execution this feature tries my patience and I would have never bought this because of the lack of a disable for the lock to the controls. Don't need it! Don't like it! Would that the designer out the shoot him/her for this useless function.2. wireless capability with no ability to find or manually set the router and ip address. Tried multiple times to get this set to no avail. Not even sure why I need a wireless feature as there is no app or any means to access the spa wirelessly. Waste of design resources and additional cost with no customer benefits. This is a small issue but since I never use it once I found out it was virtually worthless. Will not last more than 20 minutes off the charger. Another worthless feature and waste of resources and design time. Adds cost with no benefit to consumer.
There is a known flaw in the pump system for this hot tub. The pump WILL fail. The ceramic impeller rod WILL break. I have looked all over the internet and it seems everyone is having the same problem. Intex won't provide replacement parts. You may be able to get them on EBAY. If you do find a replacement pump it will be at least $60 and will also break. Mine did. The best you can do to keep it going is to keep tearing it apart and replacing the rod. Mine lasted approximately 6 months. I found out it was broken when I got the tub out of winter storage. That's when I started my claim. 1 year and 11 days after the ship date (not the date I actually got it). After numerous emails and calls, claims issued and cancelled, I was told it was out of warranty and hung up on! ... MoreThere is a known flaw in the pump system for this hot tub. The pump WILL fail. I really enjoyed it...while it lasted. It was affordable, easy to set up, and although not as nice as a real hot tub, it was only a quarter of the price. However, it's been just over a year and the hot tub will no longer stay inflated. We've checked everywhere for leaks with soapy water, tightened the air valve, etc etc, and there is nothing obvious as to why this should keep deflating. I am not sure if it's a flaw in the tub or what, but I am very disappointed, especially since this happened right after the warranty period. We either have to buy a whole new tub or just throw out, after using for just one year. Unfortunately I wanted to like it, but it is not a long term solution.
Seems to be a lot more sturdy that would have thought Takes a while to heat up. I'd recommend a extra bucket heater if you live in cold climates . Looses about 2 degrees a bubble cycle once you remove the cover. When its empty it is light enough for 2 adults to move with ease. Im 6'2 and it really allows me to stretch out. Wouldn't think 6 grown adults would fit comfortably , but 4 isn't bad,
They were not able to ship the 6-person spa to California due to energy requirements. (Spas shipped to California must have an energy efficient cover and they don't make one for the 6-person spa.). With my permission, they shipped the 4-person version in place of it. After all of the positive reviews, I really wanted to like it, but the spa was a disappointment. After 24 hours of heating, the spa was only up to 100. When I got in and turned on the bubbles, it was very noisy and splattered water everywhere. The bubbles also lowered the temperature of the water. The bubbles are just that-bubbles-with little to no therapeutic quality. Additionally, the 4-person spa only fits 2 to 3 adults comfortably. I am not sure how four could get in. A nice idea, but not worth the ... MoreThey were not able to ship the 6-person spa to California due to energy requirements. I had some problems but they were easily remedied. The cord is only 6 feet long and the only place I could set up was 12 feet from nearest outdoor outlet. I had to buy a 12 gauge outdoor extension cord, though this is NOT recommended. Once the hot tub was set up and inflated, it quickly deflated. I found several cracks along the folds (it had been folded while in the box). However, I was prepared for this possibility. I sealed all cracks and potential cracks with Flex Glue then covered with waterproof Gorilla Tape. The only issue to be aware of is that the control pad automatically locks after a few minutes so the controls will not respond until you unlock it. This causes a problem if you are inflating and need to stop inflation quickly. You can hit the test button ... MoreI had some problems but they were easily remedied. After it is set up you are quite impressed until you realize no chemicals come with order. A quick trip to a pool supply or hardware store may be required. Bromide tabs and extra blue shock can get you started. I add a few drops of geranium oil as well. Enjoy and best of luck- mommadonna
For the price-point of $800.00, I'm happy with my tub. It takes a long time to heat-up to 104 degrees. If I let the temperature go down to 98, I'll need 5-hours to get it up to 104. The jets are sub-standard and it's a poor design. Instead of 4 - 6 main jets, they chose to have bubbles emanatearound the tub from little holes; not jets. They feel like guppies nibbling at your bottom. Good buy for the price, but they obviously haven't done any customer satisfaction surveys. I'd return it, but it's just too much HASSLE.
