This iPhone 14 has a beautiful purple case, but with my protector on, you cannot see the purple color. I purchased a cover to protect this very expensive phone. Yes, this phone is expensive, but this is a phone, camera, scanner, and computer all in one. I use to travel with my laptop and now I can use this phone to check my emails and can even do some work things if needed. I have all the necessary apps to get my job functions completed. I love that the phone does not crash and I can do weeks without a reboot. Sometimes I don’t reboot until I get an update. My husband has an iPhone 13 and will continuous use, he can get 3 days on the battery. I can only get 2 days with the iPhone 14. That is very good compared to 1 day with my iPhone XR. I have watched them help a lady in her 80s and they were very kind and the moment made me smile.

Both my daughters are used to Apple products as my mom had them and they’d get on her devices while visiting so I’m not worried about them adjusting as much. They’re showing me things I wouldn’t have known. I feel the safety features are far superior and we’ve tested the find my devices app with success. I’ve been very impressed and when it’s time for my oldest daughter and husband to upgrade next year they’re getting the latest iPhones then.

The usb port has a great feature for attaching to my camera or to my computer. I’m looking to get a new case for mine now. I definitely love how much space this 128 GB holds more that the 16. I used to have to keep updating or kept getting updates like my other phone couldn’t handle the work I was doing on it. This is so much easier to use. I love the app benefits for this style. It holds more on the screen than my other phone. The camera on this phone I also a higher quality resolution that I love. I've recently bought the iPhone 14 Pro, and to my surprise the performance was perfect. However, there were a few aspects that determined how many stars this review would recieved. The phone itself was in good condition, there were a few smudges on the side, but that was wiped off easily. The little film that's on top of the phone was dirty, I didn't really mind about that though. The thing that really disappointed me was the battery life. The phone is 88% battery life. I would expect more from a one year old phone, but that's average after a year, I'd expect a higher battery life and I know I wouldn't get anything better if I replaced it. Another thing I didn't like was the cheap chinese brick and cable, in 5 minutes it wouldn't even go up by 1%! I upgraded to the 14pro for better battery & the camera. This iPhone has 6gbs of ram the A16 chip, Satellite SOS, & the dynamic island. The dynamic island is a love hate feature, as it is in the way of everything and way more intrusive than the previous notch.The cameras are better than the previous 12mini & 13 I have owned. However even with extra lenses, and power, the photos look worse than my 13 did 1/2 the time. I am trying to figure out how to make it the best it can be. The battery is actually worse than previous models the only way to make the battery life better is to turn off 120HZ an use 60HZ. Which defeats the purpose of the screen.So there are some trades off and it's my 1st pro model, so there are some user settings to adjust to. The screen stopped working after a day, and I had to go to a Verizon store for 3 hours to get a replacement unit. The Verizon staff was lovely, but Apple was very rude.My 2nd (replacment) 14pro I have I noticed does a screen flicker from time to time. The iPhone 14pro frozen screen or screen not working is a common problem. So is battery life for 8 hours with the always display feature off. There will be more updates to fix this, but just a buyer beware warning.I say it's an upgrade to an extent as the notch is now a pill that's interactive that takes up more screen. You get better audio, cameras (depends how the phone feels not the conditions) a huge screen improvement (can kill your battery based off settings) It charges faster.I would say if you're leaning towards upgrading, I would possibly do a 14plus or wait for the 15 series, if I had the option I truly wouldn't have upgraded as it was a pretty bad experience, and I am experiencing screen issues already 3 weeks in to treating this iPhone more carefully than any other.

Really good smart phone, but not worth the full retail price.

I have owned half of the iphones versions made since the first one. The best one ever was the iPhone 5 line. Durable, felt amazing, great tactile feel and function, perfect size, etc. From then on, honestly I never liked the newer models. The 14pro is a bit of a let down in form, function, and feel. I thought with the change in form factor, that it would be more like the iPhone 5, but it is not. The plastics actually feel horrible, slippery, and just 'cheap' feeling. For something this size, it is nearly impossible to hold and use without it flying out of your hand. You HAVE to get a more tactile case. But I didn't get this simply as a phone, or media device, ipod, etc. I got this for the camera sensor and lenses. Period. The iPhone 14 and 14 Pro is trash…ESIM is trash

I just got the 14 Pro while currently owning the 12 Pro and the 13 Pro. Long story short the 14 Pro has not let me send pics to androids after turning the phone’s power and iMessage off and back on. It can text words to androids but not pictures. Also turned “Send as SMS” off and back on. I have had every iPhone since the 5 so I know how to check settings for this stuff. My 13 Pro sends pictures to androids just fine. The only difference I can see is there is no physical SIM in the 14 at all…not even a slot. That in my opinion is the problem. It is frustrating that we cannot swap SIM cards anymore and have to rely on carriers to activate and deactivate the crappy ESIM that comes with these new 14 models.
