iPhone came in perfect condition, practically like new. Not a single scratch or dent on the front, back, sides or camera. Everything works so far. It’s internationally unlocked for anybody wondering, but eSIM only. Charger and cable (not Apple) provided are good enough to use as spares, since luckily I already have an original Apple charger and cable. iPhone came with 91% battery health, which was a bit disappointing since I was expecting to be one of the lucky ones with 100%, but I got lucky with pretty much all the rest, so it wouldn’t be fair to give it less than 5 stars just because of that. I purchased this product all on my own! This is my honest opinion on the 128 gb iPhone 14 Pro Max in Deep Purple. I really wanted to love this phone! According to its specs and daring Deep Purple color, I should be over the moon for this phone! But alas, it’s just been a let down! I thought having the bigger 6.3 inch tall phone with the 6.69 inch screen would make the bulkiness of the phone worth it as I have the eyesight of a 90 year old; but it’s just too heavy for my liking! I have little hands, and the weight (8.47 oz.) and dimensions of this phone make it way too easy for me to drop it! And believe me, I’ve dropped it! The color of this phone is such a Deep Purple, that it makes the phone attractive to both the ladies and the gents. It’s neither too feminine nor too masculine! The camera is of course amazing, which is important to me! I take 1600 pictures of my fur and fur less babies regularly, so I need printable quality photos! What I don’t like? It doesn’t come with a charging brick nor earbuds! Apple claims that it’s to “reach carbon neutrality by 2030”, but we all know they were just trying to save some cash! Greta doesn’t have that far of a reach! I don’t honestly care about the earbuds being absent, as we all know it’s like wearing a marble around in your ear all day! They’re simply not comfortable! But the fact that Apple skimped on the charging brick is just some negativity that I honestly don’t need in my life right now! Having to spend more money on something that most phones come standard with, is just kind of absurd! It should have been a deal breaker, but I and everyone else in my house , have been rocking with Apple for at least 10 years now! We’re comfortable and connected, so it’s kind of hard to walk away! Our relationship is complicated! Other charging issues I’ve found with this particular model have to deal with its battery life and the phone heating up while charging! I do constantly use my phone, but I’ve never really had an issue like this with any of my other previous models. I don’t use the “always on feature”, and I try to wait til my battery is almost completely dead before charging it; but it still has to be charged multiple times a day. It doesn’t charge the fastest either on a regular cord and brick. I use a little quick portable charger if I need my phone to be charged in a hurry! On the portable charger I can charge this baby to almost full in 20 minutes! With the basic cord and brick, it can take about an hour to an hour and thirty minutes to get to that point! I also find that the speaker volume on the 14 Pro Max to be a little too low! I’m getting up there, and I don’t want to have to constantly walk around with an earbud in my ear just to hear my phone! It makes me feel like I’ve already got a hearing aid in! My husband loves my phone, and is looking forward to taking it over if I decide to break up with Apple! I’m either going with a newer, smaller model iPhone, or I’m just going to give Samsung a go! I just wish phones weren’t so big nowadays! You can pretend that we little handed people don’t exist; but all you’re doing is driving us back into the arms of our old flip phones! I’d recommend if you’re good with any of my gripes I discussed above. It just isn’t the phone for me! Sorry Apple! This time it’s you, not me! Also, this phone cost over a grand paid out over time, so I just kind of expected more! It just feels like Apple is constantly a few years behind Samsung. When I was an android user , no matter how nice/expensive the phone, there would be issues- w functionality, crashing, random unexpected headaches were bound to arise! That hasn’t been my experience since switching. No crashing-knock on wood lol- no error messages that need to be investigated and fixed, smooth sailing (minus the cam, but as this is the first issue I’ve had in the 5+years of iPhone use that’s pretty good!) Almost forgot! When I first got my phone , I didn’t get a case or screen protector for maybe 2-3weeks. In that time I dropped my phone more times than I can count, like at minimum, 40+ times ( I am a notoriously clutzy accident magnet) Not exaggerating, not even a little! Not a single scratch let alone crack! Impressive the reason I give this a 4 not a 3. It’s a good phone, with minimal issues, but I do wish I had waited the extra year for the 15.

High storage capacity with an improved RAM. There’s a 1 TB option, so you can go wild with your storage use and not have to worry about reaching capacity. That’s an important feature for me, because I use my phone heavily for work. You have the option to use either, 5G or LTE. I like how it gives you that option, as most states do not have 5G towers. Certified Pre Owned Is A Gamble

I got a certified pre-owned purple iPhone 14 Pro Max in “Great” condition. The phone I received had severe scratching and scuffing around the screen (the purple stainless steel on the sides was completely scratched off in most spots). It also had burn-in on the screen which I’ve never experienced on any of my iPhones. I would’ve considered this phone to be “fair” condition or lower. I initiated an exchange for the same device, hoping to get one in better condition. The replacement device I received is actually in “great” condition. I’d consider it to be like-new (I only saw one very small scratch on the side). The unfortunate part is I’m going to be charged a $50 restocking fee for returning the damaged phone. I was excited to find this model iphone was available refurbished through Target. It just arrived this afternoon. I don't think I've ever written a negative review, so I am hoping that this experience turns around, and I can report about it. So far, however, I'll say the package arrived in a bubble mailer, and inside was a thin cardboard box (which had some light dents on two sides of it.) Ok fine, I thought. Things get bumped in tranist. Then I opened the box, and much to my dismay I found the phone was being contained in a flimsy plastic insert... face down. As in, the face of the phone was facing the thin, non-padded back of the box. I proceeded to pull it out and was grateful to see that it was not cracked. Honestly a miracle. Secondly, (generously overlooking the dead battery), this nearly $1100 item ($1079) is not going to come with a charger? I have purchased new iPhones before, and they have all come with chargers. No where did the item description mention there would not be a charger included. As it stands now, that is all I have to share. I am waiting for my new-to-me iphone 14 Pro Max to slowly charge on a tiny wall cube. I get it, there are bigger things to complain about in this world. But I was trying to do my part and re-use one of these resource heavy devices, rather than buying brand new. I have purchased refurbished i products before, but all have been from Apple. Unless things take a turn here soon, I can say I will not be buying any high ticket items from Target again. And I will say to anyone reading this, and anyone that I speak to in person that may have interest in buying a phone or other electronic item from Target, not to.

Later, when we created our online account, we discovered that we were being billed $11 monthly for these two unnecessary devices. When I visited another T-Mobile store to return the unwanted devices, I was charged a preposterous “restocking” fee that amounted to more than I had paid for the trackers in the first place: I was charged a $40 in restocking fees plus taxes for two devices that had cost $8 apiece just a week before.
