Rodrigo makes me smile every time I turn him on! (Say that about another household appliance!) We have 3 dogs and lots of hair. I have to clean the brushes frequently and am happy that they sell replacement kits, which I expect to need fairly often given our heavy use. I get stressed out when it's not clean, but I work from home and it costs me money when I'm cleaning instead of working. Rodrigo keeps my home looking clean and amazes me with how much dirt he finds each day. (Kind of disgusting to think how we lived be fore we got him - and I thought I kept a clean house!)

I have a beautiful Sheltie who I had no idea an animal could shed so much! This little Roomba has saved my sanity. I have it run every night and it is is full every morning, even though we are talking about one large room and hallway. When I first got the vacuum, I cleaned really well before running the roomba and was amazed at all it found. The only thing I wish they would work on is how the brushes are to be cleaned. Because this one is designed for pets I find my dog's long hair gets terribly wound around the very end of the brushes and I have to take very sharp sissors with a point to be able to cut the hair off the very ends. If they detatched someway so I could easily remove the hair that would be so much easier. Believe it or not I had to convince my wife to buy this product. Now we will never be without it! Our Roomba 650, affectionately named GORT (see The Day the Earth Stayed Still) has been one of the best buys ever. No more fights about who vacuums/sweeps and the house is clear of sand and dog hairs all the time. With 2400 sq ft of house done every day GORT has been spectacular. I tell all our dog friends to get one and save their energy for more enjoyable activities.

It reaches under furniture and my bed that a traditional vacuum can't. I don't have to hold it or guide it.. I set a schedule and it starts cleaning shortly after I leave for work. Runs for an hour and returns back to charge. I get notifications when it's done or when it's stuck (which only happened once because I left a charging cable dangling on the floor). If you set the schedule to clean 5-7 times a week I think you will be pleasantly surprised with how well it works. I've completely used to DEATH 4 IRobot vacuum cleaners. I've adored each and every one I've owned. I seriously don't ever want to be without one. You just turn it on, or schedule it to run, and let it go and it completely cleans the entire room for you. I have a small house, but I can let it roam my house until the battery is almost completely run down and it will have cleaned my entire house, dog hair included!!! Seriously!!!! LOVE!!!! :-)
Have 2 dogs that are constantly in and out. Picks up the daily dirt and hair in the main living room by the door. Still have to vacuum to get corners and spots it misses, but it does make a huge difference. The dogs just get up and move. It doesn't bother them.Do make sure you don't have cords or anything that can get caught in it. There is a part that is supposed to produce a signal to keep it out of a room, virtual wall, I cant get that to work.
I thought I was a clean person,vacuuming twice a week. I own 2 dogs. Running my Roomba everyday showed me just how much they shed, and how dirty the carpets got between vacuuming. The house is much cleaner.Asimov also vacuums under the furniture. Some of the furniture in my house was very heavy to move and did not get cleaned under regularly. Now it gets vacuumed daily.
Yes we call it the Beast!! Its awesome. Picks up everything....... It also returns to base when battery goes low.I bought it mainly to clean under the bed. We have no carpet...so I see dust..The Beast does an amazing job.I keep extra filters and brushes on hand. I do take the bin apart and clean it well.I don't think I could ever be without the Beast!!!
When we got Vicky (the vacuum) I was not sure about it. After the first day i was sooo impressed. In the morning the last person to leave turns Vicky on and when I get home my carpet has pretty lines and the dirt bin is FULL. Even when I think everything is clean she finds dust and dirt! When we got it we had 3 cats and 2 golden retrievers. Vicky did great. I dont like how you have to clean the brushes and cut hair and stuff off ends.Wish this was easier. Family members have now gotten them and we all have V names! Vicky, Victor, another Vicky, Vince, and Valarie
