I bought this product recently as I was unable to purchase my usual VLCD Coffee Shake. I had read other reviews of this product and thought I’d try it. NOT GOOD! Apart from me not reading the initial instructions-‘add one scoop to 200ml full fat milk’- I initially added it to 200ml water as I had usually with my previous VLCD Coffee Shake. SO WATERY!!! I then followed the manufacturer’s instructions and used 200ml full fat milk. Apart from finding it extremely tasteless I was also uncomfortable to be using full fat milk. It was not a pleasant experience. NOT RECOMMENDED!

This is the BEST brand of protein powder. Have used it for years. Great for weight loss & vanilla is my fave as I blend with water, banana and frozen fruit every morning for breakfast, it’s delicious! Even better with milk but to keep calories down I use water instead.

I love food, but I had to change a few things up in my diet as I was feeling sluggish and bloated and not quite right within myself. I looked into Isowhey’s website and loved the fact that I could incorporate healthy recipes with also being able to have a shake or bar and lose weight/ change my eating habits. This chocolate flavour is delicious and creamy and even has my husbands approval for when needs a quick brekkie shake or for dinner when he’s not feeling too hungry. You can also make yummy recipes with this protein powder. It’s awesome!

I am lactose intolerant with IBS and all the other non vegan branded shakes make me bloated and sick. Isowhey works really well for me and as a bonus it is great tasting & non-gritty like the vegan alternatives. I love this flavour shake with unsweetened almond milk, blended with ice & 1/3 of a frozen banana.
I am really impressed with this shake. I’ve had other shakes before - several years ago - but I’m lactose intolerant now so had to find an alternative. I hate soy based products so this one is perfect. It’s a good coffee flavour without being too weak or strong and it’s sweet enough to satisfy without being over the top. Having the shakes for the recommended breakfast and lunch keeps me satisfied as well. Plus they are so easy - great for unorganised people like me!
This is a quality product and the company behind it likes to be state of the art and keep innovating. My family enjoy these protein shakes at home and at work. We feel satiated and therefore do not eat more. We look forward to our shakes and soon Mango/coconut flavour is being released. We use low fat milk and sometimes add a bit more fresh fruit into the blender. It has the right amount of sweetness and flavour for us. On special, it is outstanding value.
I purchased the vanilla with a chocolate. I find the vanilla less appealing than chocolate especially in its flavour, it has an odd aftertaste. Though it’s not awful. I just prefer the other. It’s still tasty with subtle vanilla flavour, comes out nice a smooth from my blender.
Honestly, I was so excited to try these. I bought the vanilla and the chocolate shakes and am so disappointed that both of them don’t taste of anything other than a slightly synthetic sugary metallic taste. They’re very watery and not at all filling. I can’t stomach the taste so they’ll unfortunately be binned. Expensive mistake.
I've used this product for about 10 years now and I love it. It tastes way better than the other powders I've tried and mixes well in smoothies, covering up the taste of spinach very well. My mum has used this for weight loss with good results (I just do 1 per day for maintenance). I blend with oat milk, heaped half cup of blueberries and a large handful of baby spinach leaves.
This is the second time I have purchased this product along with 3 other flavors. Due to the need to lose weight for surgery I turned to Isowhey Diet Shakes. I was feeling quite desperate as I have lost weight many times before. Isowhey works when used correctly. I use two flavors a day, with a grilled portion of meat and salad for tea, a small fruit and a small diet jelly throughout the rest of the day, along with water. I am almost ready for surgery. Will continue for the recovery period after surgery too along with aqua therapy. My hope is back.
