Great, long lasting fragrance: woodsy with strong citrus notes. I have long admired L'eau D'Issey pour Homme, created by Jacques Cavallier. He also created this fragrance that I would describe as the evening version of L'eau D'Issey. The first reaction to the fragrance is the smokiness of Ylang-Ylang, then the aromatic notes of citrus and lavender. As it dries down, the floral notes hint at clove, rose and neroli. I am impressed with this fragrance and enjoy the lingering scent in my clothes even days after application. Up until today, I have not been overly impressed with Issey Miyake fragrances until today...About a month ago, I blind purchased Blue because of the great deal... I finally wore it today.From the initial spray, I liked it. The fragrance is unique from the get-go... Yes, I get it that well have different noses and picking up scents - I detect a blend of aquatic, citrus, juniper/evergreen, and an almost pepper notes that settles into a clean and fresh fragrance. The fragrance is clean and unique and easy on the nose. If you can find a deal for around $30.00 (or less), it is worth it. Trust me and worth reiterating, the compliments, i.e. Wow Factor, will follow - Build it and they will come..!! The longevity is above average, lasting a solid 6-8 hours and while barely detectable, my shirtsleeve still smells like Blue some 14 hours following the initial application.My cologne collection has now surpassed 300 bottles - Issey Miyake Blue has climbed into my Top 10 favorite.All things considered, I am giving Blue 4.5 stars out of 5 and definitely suggesting to add to your collection. Ride the wave and don't ask where it goes..!!

My husband likes only breezy, oceanic, fresh and citrusy scents. To give you an idea his signature perfume since 2007 has been Just Blue by Roberto Cavalli. We weren't able to find another until now (and not for lack of trying, trust me, we went on the bougie side and the more affordable side, many times). I got this one for him for Christmas and he really liked it. It is a slightly earthy perfume but still into the oceanic notes. Imagine sitting on a precipice with trees behind you and the ocean waves crushing on the peak in front of you, that scent wind could carry... Truly impressed by this cologne for the price. I have to be honest, this is the ONLY Issey Miyake cologne that is VERY VERY VERY good.

I have worn this forever and it smells awesome. Bergamot, rosemary, lemon grass, juniper berries, patchouli and cedar are just some of the notes. It smells really clean and fresh. It has nice projection and lasts awhile. This will always be a blind buy as I have never seen it in stores. It smells great and you won’t be disappointed. Issey Miyake nailed it with this one.

I have been a lover of Issey Miyake since it was first released. I still buy it now. But since the original..so many more different scents and different varieties have followed. Bleue is a very different kind of fragrance. It has quite a kick. At first it is almost over powering.. but give it 10 minutes, and what you have is the most alluring scent. I know with all Issey miyake fragrance that at first they are all very powerful. But wait and let it do its thing.. and the whole experience changes. I am a bit of a baster when it comes to fragrance.. i go silly..but after 20 minutes I can't smell anything.. but everywhere I go I get complemented or ask what is that Heavenly scent you are wearing. Crisp and Defined as a Herbal Spicy

This herbal treat is definitely a masculine scent. It is perfect as a fragrance for use like Deodorant. Not meant to wow the room, but meant to distinguish that you're clean, you're present, and you smell good. The Cypress catapults this Herbal Spicy to a zone where nature is king. This fragrance is an amalgamation of when the pure scents of the forest are extracted, and later preciously selected to form a robust blend. The atomizer creates a full broad spray so use can last for hours. Sillage/projection will vary on where/how much one sprays. Just remember this is a fresh, robust blend of the forest. May not need that much

OBSESSED!

I bought this on a whim for my husband as a wee surprise present. The smell is GORGEOUS, a lovely deep scent without being overpowering. One of those scents that lingers all day. As it’s an eau de toilette I was pleasantly surprised with its staying power and think it’s fabulous in terms of value for money! I’ve been recommending this to friends for their husbands and my husbands received lots of compliments too. Delivered super quickly too which is always a bonus.

Okay. This one... was interesting for me. It’s Got the typical L’eau D’issey dna with some dark incense off the top. Bringing a depth and honestly a more diverse and versatile smell than the original. BUT. This is NOT a crowd pleaser like the original. Most people who smell this for the first time like it, but about 40% of who smelled this (myself included) didn’t like it. Especially off the top. However, the more I have worn it the more it’s grown on me, to the point where I love it. Longevity and projection for me are both amazing. Lasts longer than 8 hours for me. My one holdback on a recommendation is it won’t be the most crowd pleasing smell. But it is more unique than a lot of other fragrances you see. Seems to be legit as well.

To me this is still a great fragrance! I agree with most people who consider this more of a greener fragrance than a blue fragrance, even though the title and the bottle are blue. You can definitely smell the lime and rosemary in the opening. I do prefer the dry down as it's much better with that cypress and ginger. I still think it's a unique fragrance and I still haven't smelled anything like this. Performance is pretty decent. A beautiful unique scent. I love it. Bought this after asking a colleague the name of his perfume. I must say I have not regretted this purchase. To better it, I got it when it was going at a little discount. I'd recommend it, particularly when price is right for your budget.
