BUYER BEWARE- QVC SHIPPING EXPIRED PRODUCT

I have been a QVC customer for a very long time and I am definitely starting to notice a decline in product, quality control is non existent now and serious decline in customer service. I always buy my IT Cosmetics CC Cream from QVC. My current tube purchased last year was set to expire in June 2024 so I went online and placed a new order for this set. This is not the kind of customer service that will sustain a business in order to cut corners. My question is this --- if you will notice QVC is FREQUENTLY SOLD OUT of this product in all the different variations/ coverage varieties. That being the case, one would think the product be RESTOCKED was not old . Therefore, I question if QVC is purchasing mass product at a price cut due to product being older and marketing it to the QVC customer??? I was so displeased with CUSTOMER SERVICE and QVC in general, I placed a call direct to the company ( IT Cosmetics now owned by LOREAL CORP). At the beginning of call, I advised the representative that I expected absolutely nothing in regards to resolution of my issue and the call was simply to make them aware of what QVC was doing in regards to marketing/selling their product. I told the rep that the most concerning part of all was that most customers are purchasing this product under the confidence that QVC is overseeing quality control of shipments and never even think to check their expiration dates. For me and I am sure many other customers are purchasing this product because of the added benefit of SPF coverage. If they are not checking their expiration date, they are actually wearing expired spf protection!! As rampant as skin cancer is now, shame on QVC for shipping expired product in the Hope's most will not check the dates. I urge anyone who also encounters this issue to contact the company also and nake them aware of what QVC is doing. Again, if this product is always out of stock, I have to question why the restocks do not have an ample time lapse before expiration especially since this sells so quickly. Just something to ponder as the consumer.

Excellent at what it does

Im 27 with dry skin for reference. I first tried this product years ago and have repurchased at least 6 times. I bought it because i was looking for something glowy and medium coverage and it really fit the bill. Some cosmetic "glow"s come from the actual texture of the product; something that stays balmy/liquidy on the skin will look glossy. Mac face and body is a good example (also love that one for light natural coverage). This product is not that kind of glow. This has incredibly fine shimmers that give a glow even after the foundation sets. You can even powder it down and the glow doesn't go away. With this in mind, its a fabulous foundation. The shimmers can make my dry under eye look crackly, which makes me think this product may not be ideal for mature skin?Since the shine comes from particles and not the texture, people with oily skin or who want the ability to control the amount of shine should tread with caution. The glow is lovely but the glow isn't super "customizable" the way others might be. But this also means the glow is long-lasting. The finish at the end of the day is as glowy as when i put it on in the morning and that makes a dry skin girl like me VERY happy.Overall i trust this peoduct and know how to use it to make it work for me. I can see why some may not get along with it but if you know what it does and how to use it, the innovative formula can give you something truly stunning.

Formula Change!

I have been using this product for a while. The two tubes I just purchased, are noticeably different than what I have purchased in the past. The formula does not smell the same, it used to smell a little bit lemony. Also, the formula is less creamy and smooth. It's definitely a dryer and less moisturizing formula. It also kept oxidizing with wear. I have literally compared an old tube that I had with a new tube. There is absolutely no way that this is the same formula.This is extremely disappointing as the product before was amazing. I can't justify paying top dollar for the new formula. It's not as good and it is the same price. It is an inferior product. Liked the product, color description misleading.

I did like the product, however the color description was way off. I purchased the light medium shade and it was described as having cool undertones. When I received the product and swatched it on my face, it had a very warm, almost orange undertone. I had purchased it for an event I was attending and since shipping took a little longer than usual, I had to use it and just mixed it with a lighter shade. I had purchased the fair light last year and loved it as it had true cool undertones. The light medium was one shade darker, and since it's summer, I decided to try this one since it supposedly still had the cool undertone. Unfortunately, it did not. Love all of “It”. I’ve used it for like 10 years

I have so many allergies and sensitive skin history of skin cancers and Malaysia. Using this product for many years skin doing much better only a few dark spots remain also have vitiligo so my neck was dark and a big white spot in center. Now at 63 people think I’m in my 30’s or 40’s ( my kids are 40 & 43). I always wear the Christian cream especially if going out in garden or swimming. I live in South Florida all my life. As long as I don’t rub my face hard the SPF and color remains. If I’m out really long then I do start to put extra sun screen on top.I also wasn’t able to wear any kind of eye makeup for years cause if I did within 2 hours I would look like I have pink eye including the thick yellow pus looking discharge. Well, to start, I bought my first tube of this amazing makeup on a whem. I had the money to spend on something besides a drug store makeup. I bought it because it had a sunscreen. All the sunscreens leave me white as a ghost 👻, but we always went out side at lunch. After only a few minutes in the sun I am one big freckle. So I told myself I was going to find a makeup that had a good amount of spf in it. After work I went to a well known store and asked one of the employees to help me get a makeup with a lot of sunscreen in it. Even though it is old, my skin looked great and the dark spots above my jawline were covered. I'm telling you not to waste your hard earned money on more expensive makeup, just buy a tube of it cc+. It is also a little pricey, but oh so worth every penny. Now it has amazing ingredients that are so good for your skin. I can't wait to order my NEW tube and start using it everyday even if I am not leaving my house. Be good to yourself and buy a tube to make yourself beautiful. You won't regret it. I order the It Cc+ illumination shade Light Medium. I thought it would be the perfect shade. However, on my skin, it was a little orange toned and despite it being Halloween - Orange was not the look I was going for. I called customer service Ava’s without hesitation the amazing rep told me how to return it what to write on the label and immediately shipped out “FAIR LIGHT” shade that based on color charts I thought would be better choice for my skin color. It arrived yesterday and is perfect! I love how my skin is receiving treatment while wearing it. I love the coverage and the slight glow it gives my skin. Thin Metallic Oily Coverage

I'm 61 w/oily combo skin. I tried the matte version 2 yrs ago and it was THICK and flat like toothpaste. You couldn't spread it. It went back. I've been looking to up my skincare and was hoping this would be something good. But this really isn't a CC+ cream. It's more of a luminous Skin Serum with sheer coverage that NEVER sets no matter how much powder or setting spray you use. Built in primer...? HARDLY. Don't touch your face or you will be wearing it in all the wrong places bc it transfers badly. This product makes your skin beautiful with great benefits, but the luminosity is just too much for fair or porcelain complexions. Makes me look silver metallic. I even tried mixing it with my reg. 24hr foundation for a little boost. Still looks greasy and won't set. A ... MoreI'm 61 w/oily combo skin. I am a long time it Cosmetics user. I have been very happy with most of the products I’ve tried. For the past several years I’ve used the Your Skin But Better foundation but thought I’d try the CC illumination. I was very surprised at the strong chemical smell right out of the tube. I went ahead and applied the product but found the smell to get stronger as I spread it. The oder did dissipate eventually and the cream wore pretty well though it did separate and cling off the little bit of texture on my cheeks. I tried it a second time using a lighter moisturizer but couldn’t get past tat smell. I called and spoke to customer service who was going to make a note and see if there was something wrong with my batch. I haven’t heard back yet; so I wait.
