It Cosmetics CC+ Cream Nude Glow Lightweight + Glow Serum SPF40 32

I have never garnered as many compliments on my skin as I have when I wear this. Yes, I have an awesome skin care routine and exfoliating and moisturizing prior to foundation is key. But this CC cream just creates a glow from within. I wear it mainly for the SPF 40, but am not complaining about the flawless finish it provides as a bonus. To apply, I use after moisturizer, apply with fingertips and then pounce with damp beauty blender to get in all the nooks and crannies to get a smooth finish. I set with Makeup Forever HD setting powder and a setting spray and this will last all day into evening when I remove my makeup. It provides a dewy finish, but never too cakes or heavy, it’s not full coverage unless you layer or build it. I enjoy IT products and this was a great value; however, I did not realize this product contains chemical sunscreen (ingredient list contains homosalate, octocrylene, etc.), opposed to a physical/mineral sunscreen. Chemical sunscreens don’t sit on the skin or block rays. Instead, they feature active ingredients that absorb UV rays before your skin can soak them up. Hence, QVC didn't mark this as "QVC CLEAN BEAUTY." Disappointingz purchase

The new CC cream concept sounded promising but what a disappointment. The CC cream for me was a total fail. On me, this provided absolutely no coverage. Perhaps a heavier hand was needed but I never got that far. This CC cream has a very strong, unpleasant chemical smell which was an immediate asthma trigger for me. I had to immediately wash it off my face. Just the short time it was on my face though, was enough to cause my skin and my eyes to burn. This was really irritating to my skin and my allergies. I’m assuming that it is the new chemical sunscreen, as I have worn the other IT CC cream formulas for years with no bad reactions like that. It was a dull, muddy shade pretty much the color of my dark eye circle that really played them up and made them look even worse. Having 360° dark eye circles is not a good look for me. The ridiculously short handled brush was a joke. Didn’t bother with the rest of the set. This one is going back.If you have have asthma, allergies, and skin and/or scent sensitivities, you may want to steer clear of this new new CC cream formula.

Foundation irritates skin

I was very excited to order the IT TSV as it’s been a while since I’ve seen anything similar to the kits they used to offer. I received it yesterday and used the foundation today. It stung my face so badly I couldn’t get it off fast enough. My face was bright red and irritated. I just hope the irritation calms down so I don’t have to go to a dermatologist. I’ve been ordering IT foundation from QVC since it was first introduced and have never had a problem until now. Needless to say I will be returning. I think that only QVC reviews should be on the QVC website. I don’t care to see other people’s review while visiting the IT cosmetics website. Did they offer the exact same kit/foundation. I ordered this on auto ship but it does not show on my list so I wonder if QVC has cancelled. There are some reviewers that liked the foundation and I am glad it worked for them. I think there have been enough concerns regarding adverse reactions that QVC should pull it. The first ingredient listed on the box is a chemical that your body doesn’t recognize and tries to process it as estrogen according to the research I did. I no longer have confidence with this product line.

This might be because sunscreens typically do cause breakouts for me, but the product is so convenient and pretty I use it anyway. This was the grossest thing I ever put on my skin, and I was so mad at myself for ever buying into the hype without first researching the product. I never read the ingredients before purchasing and using. I used it three mornings in a row, and all three of those mornings my skin was grossing me out. First off, I looked older despite having very youthful skin. It definitely aged me. Next, it was gross and slimy and I noticed it coming off all over my fingers whenever I touched my face. There was nasty oily grit with tiny dark specks under my fingernails. I am a total hygiene nut, so I was absolutely disgusted. It was oily and greasy. So gross. I am fortunate enough to work part time and close to home, so on my morning break I can go home. Because this should be disclosed and never is, I refuse to give IT another dime.

This has a lovely lightweight feel and pleasant smell to it. It’s easy to apply with very little blending required. It evens out my skintone without covering my cherished freckles creating a healthy glow for a paired down everyday look that takes less than a minute. If I want to build my look up but still keep the no-makeup look I find that a touch of setting powder, smidge of cream blush such as the Clinique chubby stick blush, a hint of highlighter in the centre of my eyelids and all finished my a light coating of mascara to my eyelashes and a tinted lip balm. No brushes, sponges or even a mirror required to create this most natural look which can be done in less than 5 minutes. Nude Glow vs Original IT CC

I’m 44 and have recently been trying different(newer iterations) cosmetics because I recognize what I’ve been using for years, may not be best for me now. I saw the Nude Glow presented and decided to give it a try…it has more advanced skin care ingredients than the OG and I’m a sucker for a little glow! It’s definitely less coverage than the OG. But, it’s also much lighter and disappears (in the best way) into my skin! I’m able to apply in 15 seconds and then go back in with the small side of the brush and blend in a little more in the areas where I need a bit more coverage. Looks very pretty, can be built a bit and certainly plays nice with concealers and other complexion finishing products. In regards to shade, IT leans a bit pink, I’m usually a neutral medium/light medium. I chose medium with this product and because it is more sheer I would suggest going with your ‘summer’ shade.P.S. I’ve tried all other IT liquid complexion products and this is the only one that rivals the OG for me. I have used Bye Bye Undereye for years and I actually like this better as it doesn't crease or cake at all. I also enjoy how it wears throughout the day, especially in the fl heat. I usually always have issues with my upper lip sweating and it always sweats off makeup right there, this one doesn't do that surprisingly. It's very lightweight, not thick and my skin really blends well with it. I got shade light and it's perfect. I enjoy using cream products like cream blush and bronzer and on top of this, it blends so well. I don't have acne or scaring but I do have fine lines and wrinkles and this doesn't settle into any of them and really seems to camouflage them in a way, making my skin look alot smoother and even. I don't think this would work for oily skin types due to the hydration. I actually don't even think this would work all that well for combo skintypes but if your a dry skin type gal like myself this will work wonders. I use the it cosmetics confidence in your skin moisturizer under it as well as my favorite tatcha silk canvas primer (the liquid version) and it's just a match made in heaven. I like this alot better than their original and I like it more than their other foundation that came in a glass bottle, one of their newer ones, I belive it was called your skin but better foundation? I would highly recommend that particular one for more oily and combo skin type people. This one was a pleasant surprise and I hope this review helps someone. for reference my skintone is 2-n120 in the givenchy foundation I mentioned above, I'm considered light with neutral undertones.
