I received a sample of this in an Ipsy bag and it was my first experience with retinol. I absolutely loved this product. It is rich and creamy/gelish in texture (think halfway between a serum and Vaseline). It feels a bit sticky when first applied, but it soaks in quickly and left my skin feel extra soft. I started off slowly (as recommended) with a pea sized amount once a week, then twice a week, and so on. I have sensitive, combination skin so I expected some "freak out" but my skin seemed very happy with this new addition. I'm not able to use it everyday as it starts to irritate my skin so I've settled into a 3-4 times a week and my skin is happy. While I've loved using it and seeing the results I can't justify the cost to replace it.

I’m going to start by saying I’m in my early 30’s, I have a few small lines starting to appear around my mouth and on my forehead. I can’t attest to how this works on deep lines or if you have a lot of fine lines or if it’s around your eyes. I put this specifically on my problem areas and can tell a huge difference the next morning and with repeated use the results last longer. My skin feels fuller, more bouncy, and brighter. The scent isn’t strong or off putting which is important to me especially when it’s going on my face. It’s also not sticky or heavy and absorbs well. It didn’t give me any issues with breakouts or anything either.

Gentle Retinol Cream

This is my first purchase of this product and so far my skin has been taking it well. There has been no irritation or redness. That being said I only apply it on nights where I do not exfoliate/ use actives as we tend to ruin our own skins at times. The hygienic pump is fantastic. It dispenses a pea-sized amount which is enough to cover the whole face. Despite enjoying it, I cannot give 5* for 2 reasons. I don't see any anti-wrinkle effect yet. But what bothers me even more is that they don't say what the % of the retinol is. With retinol the key is consistency over intensity. We build tolerance as we go up. With this cream I have no idea where I stand.

I have to say that P size really does all my needs my whole face and I noticed that in two days only two uses I noticed a big difference in the lines on my forehead especially the ones over each eye that are really deep have become lessened and that’s fine lines down on my each bottom of my cheek. I am I have a chubby cheeks, and if I put my chin on my chest when I’m sleeping, then it becomes like a fine line there. but I noticed even they were improving. I have to say now I think it’s about a little over maybe a week and a half that I’ve used it each day and I’m not noticing as much a change but I definitely notice a big difference over my whole face is that it’s a the tones it is our evening out and I have a couple of brown spots due to the sun . It Cosmetics - Daily Retinol Serum in Cream

I'm still a bit torn - I have used the product for about 4 weeks now and after initial use for several days in a row I had to drop down to 2x/weekly. My face was severely peeling and some hives appeared. I'm still hanging in there trying to see when my skin clears up if it will look better but I am still experiencing visible dryness and peeling. Hopeful for the best but think my skin may just be too sensitive for this type of product. On the upside, I love the container and it dispenses the perfect size of product. I wish all face lotion tubs were designed like this.

Really great product! Jar lasts 9 months

I wish I had good before and after photos. I'm actually amazed how this did reduce the 11 lines between my eyebrows! I just turned 40 this year, and I started using this product last fall. I wish I had known about it years ago! I never had any of the flakiness or burning sensation, but I use a very low retinol content daily day lotion already. I apply this at night only to my specific problem areas: forehead and between eyebrows, and around laugh lines. I use a moisture cream everywhere else.In case you're curious one jar will last about 9 months with a single pump used daily!

Retinol works, just have patience

I love IT Cosmetics facial products. I also use their anti aging moisturizer and eye cream. For this product I like the scent and the refreshing feeling it leaves on my skin. I use this in the morning and another retinol moisturizer product containing jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid at night (during fall/winter season) and then a retinoid serum at night (spring/summer.) My skin does not get irritated because I have been using retinol products every single day since I was in my late 20’s. My sun spots, pores, and blackheads have reduced, my skin is much clearer and also got rid of the milias I used to get around my eyes. I turn 40 today and people think I’m in my mid 20’s.

Sensitive skin people- beware.

I bought this during the 21 days of beauty sale thinking it couldn't do more than what I was already using. I was so very wrong and I couldn't be happier about it! There was a reviewer that said she wished she had known and purchased 2... same sis.. same. I started seeing small results almost instantly. First with the plumpness of my skin, then came the brightening, now there is a substantial difference around the eyes. My little tiny crows feet have diminished *almost* entirely. NOW, I will say, that just like with any good retinol, you might experience peeling/ flaking/ irritation. I don't have sensitive skin, and did experience those things. I dialed back every night usage to 2-3 times a week, now every other day, and my skin is IN LOVE. Try layering it under their night cream and watch how bouncy, dewy, beautiful your skin is the next morning! I've started putting this on my husbands face as well, he's oily and it does well for him also!
