Smells fresh wirh honeysuckle licorice etc as natural ingredients, however not overpowering or bad in any way. Good for any skin types and various shade ranges. Will admit, not the widest shade range. However, it has a decent spectrum to make it easy for all to choose a shade without it being too complex or overwhelming and Ilike that. As a pro makeup artist, I'm obsessed with this one,cc,medium buildable with a very natural finish that feels so good on the face. Then I am also in love with the sister product; the full coverage it cosmetics bye bye foundation...amazing formulation; not cakey clumpy dry...love and highly recommend, looks amazing on my dry/combo skin type..lasts,has the best skincare in it as you wear it, and looks so fresh and almost lit from within radiant ,and has hydro flex technology to bend as your skin moves, which Is so cool to Me . Both are such amazing foundations and so innovative. Highly recommend to others.

I was advised my shade was SOLD OUT and that I would need to return item for refund. I was happy to oblige the request but 2 different customer service reps advised me they could not guarantee I would not be charged for return fee and shipping. My response was that QVC shipped an expired product to me that should have never shipped and that it was their company error not mine. This is not the kind of customer service that will sustain a business in order to cut corners. My question is this --- if you will notice QVC is FREQUENTLY SOLD OUT of this product in all the different variations/ coverage varieties. That being the case, one would think the product be RESTOCKED was not old . Therefore, I question if QVC is purchasing mass product at a price cut due to product being older and marketing it to the QVC customer??? I was so displeased with CUSTOMER SERVICE and QVC in general, I placed a call direct to the company ( IT Cosmetics now owned by LOREAL CORP). At the beginning of call, I advised the representative that I expected absolutely nothing in regards to resolution of my issue and the call was simply to make them aware of what QVC was doing in regards to marketing/selling their product. I told the rep that the most concerning part of all was that most customers are purchasing this product under the confidence that QVC is overseeing quality control of shipments and never even think to check their expiration dates. For me and I am sure many other customers are purchasing this product because of the added benefit of SPF coverage. If they are not checking their expiration date, they are actually wearing expired spf protection!! As rampant as skin cancer is now, shame on QVC for shipping expired product in the Hope's most will not check the dates. I urge anyone who also encounters this issue to contact the company also and nake them aware of what QVC is doing. Again, if this product is always out of stock, I have to question why the restocks do not have an ample time lapse before expiration especially since this sells so quickly. Just something to ponder as the consumer.

I recently ordered a foundation that I had high hopes for, but my experience was far from satisfactory. The projected arrival date was Monday, but it didn’t arrive until Wednesday, which was already disappointing. When I opened the package, I found that it came in a small white bubble envelope, which seemed inadequate for the product.Upon inspection, I noticed that the box was damaged and looked as if the bottle didn’t fit properly inside. There was no visible expiration date on the edge of the bottle, and the serial number seemed off, raising concerns about the authenticity of the product. When I opened it, I was hit with a strong odor reminiscent of bug spray. This was alarming, as the real foundation I’ve purchased from reputable retailers has no scent at all. The stark difference made me question the quality and safety of this product. In hindsight, I regret not reading the reviews before making this purchase. If I had, I might have avoided this situation altogether. Overall, this experience has left me feeling disappointed and skeptical about the authenticity of products sold through this vendor. I will be more cautious in the future and ensure I purchase from trusted sources.

I have been using this product for probably close to a decade. When it was time to repurchase, I noticed the price increased significantly. I bought a mini size in shade light that was, I'm not kidding, pure orange. I had to go in the store to test and discovered my perfect shade is fair ivory. This makes no sense since I am light/medium usually with olive undertones. I decided to keep the mini in light to mix with my full size fair ivory for my summer shade.I'm writing this review because I think the shade matching is incredibly difficult if you can't make it into the store to swatch. With all that being said, I do still love the formula of this product. It's pretty full coverage (I mean like, I use half a pump to cover my entire face, and blend it out with a ... With all that being said, I do still love the formula of this product. It's pretty full coverage (I mean like, I use half a pump to cover my entire face, and blend it out with a beauty blender). It's perfect for mornings when I just want to throw something on like it's a moisturizer. I swear, I don't even need to wear priming cream underneath for it to look good. Without primer, it can cling to some dry patches on my face but it's really not too bad for me. With primer, my skin looks glowing all day. It almost looks better as the day goes on. I will also add that it oxidizes so in my opinion, it would be wise to shade down if possible.Super easy to use, just use with a light hand. Giving four stars because it's VERY expensive from what it once was and the shades run incredibly dark.
Not for sensitive skin types! I'd recently ran out of my everyday CC cream by 'Juice Beauty' - the ONLY CC cream I've ever repurchased, and had a small tube of this - a product I've heard lots about, and decided now's as good as any time to give it a try.The pros: it has a higher SPF...50 as opposed to JB's 30, it's not anywhere near as 'dewy', and likewise has an ingredients list that reads like an encyclopedia of botanicals! The cons: it's costlier per ml. And more importantly something in that mix, I'm guessing the citrus oils; gave me a rash on my nose and forehead after less than a week of applying every morning, and I ended up giving this away. It could also have been the silicones or possibly the Eucalyptus oil...who knows?Disappointed to say the least, as ... MoreNot for sensitive skin types! It could also have been the silicones or possibly the Eucalyptus oil...who knows?Disappointed to say the least, as the coverage was PERFECT for me - medium, not too dewy and didn't emphasize any of my fine lines or general rough texture (on those days I've been too lazy to exfoliate) which I was fearing it might do from reading some of the other reviews. For a short while I felt like I'd found an even better version of my beloved JB CC cream, and was happy to overlook the price difference, but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. I buy this pretty regularly even though it's expensive for me because I just want a truly full coverage foundation that lasts WITH REAL effective SPF 50 so bad. However, the absolute lightest shade is still pretty dark and yellowy and the foundation itself is so unstable, unpredictable is so hard to get right and impossible cover up the bad effects of. Like, the lightest looks terrible by itself yet trying to cover the yellowy unnatural color will most likely cause it to look caked & bad. Wearing without powder is utterly impossible because 1 the color and way it looks and 2 its WAY too shiny or something and adds dimension to scars and wrinkles. Yet even when doing nothing but setting it with powder or only wearing moisturizer underneath will make it out of nowhere ... Yet even when doing nothing but setting it with powder or only wearing moisturizer underneath will make it out of nowhere for no reason almost curdle and look splotchy to the point it's humiliating when I see what I've looked like all day..so I end up feeling dumb that I actually paid 50$ after shipping to look like that. Cannot really blend it into concealer or recent moisturizer anything AT all. Much less w/ other foundation to make it lighter. I'm always clueless on how to long to wait after applying before I put on powder & scared its gonna curdle & be disturbingly spotty all day and for THAT price? Just..ugh..I WANT to love it. I really do.Also if anyone has any truly effective tips on how to use it better please let me knoww! I have alot of rather deep acne scarring that other foundations hide well but this foundation somehow this foundation makes it look WORSE. I dont know if its worth it anymore. I dont understand how the lightest shade is so darkish yellowy and the formula needs alotta work for the money but it would be worth it for IT to invest in fixing it because we all seemingly leaped at the idea with our cards out and TRIED so hard to make it work. If it could just be fixed without the expense of losing SPF effectiveness or full coverage it would be so many people's forever only foundation.I know you probably won't let this comment get added to but PLEASE copy/paste it escalate it w/e you gotta to submit it to the CEO or any higher up, head honcho of IT. 😅 Thanks! 💌❤️,-Aleah
I have been using this specific CC Cream from IT Cosmetics consistently for around 3 years now. This was my daily-wearer for a full 12+ months while I was working in retail in 2022, being face-to-face with hundreds of customers. Background - makeup is my passion!! I have been experimenting with makeup for 16 years... TONS of trial and error, TONS of new products purchased and wasted (or used up til I hit pan lol). I am in my mid-30s, very oily + combination skin, extremely prone to acne STILL. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation (melasma) from pregnancy and sun damage, and dark purple circles under my eyes. I was constantly on the hunt for a do-it-all foundation that could really cover my skin-related insecurities - wouldn't give me cake-face, wouldn't settle ... I was constantly on the hunt for a do-it-all foundation that could really cover my skin-related insecurities - wouldn't give me cake-face, wouldn't settle drastically into my lines, wouldn't accentuate my enlarged pores, improved the look of my textured skin, wouldn't separate after 3-9 hours, FULL-coverage but not heavy, and most importantly...did NOT cause breakouts. I know how hefty those expectations are, trust me. This CC Cream checked every box - DEPENDING ON MY SKIN PREP PRIOR TO APPLICATION AND THE WAYS I APPLIED IT. I have tinkered around with every possible way to apply this CC Cream!! Here is what works best for me (oily skin), for my desired results - apply moisturizer to face, let it set for 5 ish minutes then apply a silicone-based primer (let that set as well). A foundation brush has never worked well for me, I use a dry sponge. Put a nickel-sized amount of CC Cream on the back of your hand, dab the sponge in it and apply to face, even under your eyes (can apply concealer after face is done). NOTE: I have never worn this CC Cream alone, without setting my face with a translucent, loose, setting powder... I can't due to where I live (humidity and heat + already oily skin). Next, I apply my lighter shade concealer under my eyes. After, I dab loose setting powder (translucent) onto my entire face gently and lightly with a dense kabuki brush - I buff it all off once my face is covered (gently, to not budge the makeup underneath). I apply powder bronzer and blush after my foundation application is complete. NOW... I strongly recommend a setting spray for this CC Cream especially if you are choosing to wear it without setting powder!!! The setting spray must be a very fine, even mist if this is the case. Your skin preparation and actual product application completely affects the outcome of your overall desired look. This CC Cream is thick, but not hard to work with. It blends so easily and beautifully over well-prepped skin. Some days, I have dry patches due to strong prescription retinoids or liquid exfoliants causing irritation and flaking. On those days, I prep my skin with moisturizer mixed with 3 drops of a non-comedogenic facial oil (like argan or jojoba) to keep the flakes down. This will help the CC Cream glide nicely over the area, not clinging to or accentuating the dryness. Attached you will find two photos I took of my face today, after wearing the CC Cream for a few hours. NOTE: I did NOT apply a primer today nor did I use a setting spray for these photos. I want you to see how skipping those extra, vital steps (especially silicone-based PRIMER) will not give you that airbrushed look. You can see texture, you can see lines. The third photo is from over the holidays, using the full-face routine I described above - skin texture was smoothed, lines were blurred, setting spray gave me a nice glow and "melted" all the makeup together. In short, yes, this CC Cream requires some work on your end, and I have certainly put in the hours to debunk the best methods to achieve my desired results (whew!!). If you are looking for a "slap on + go" foundation/ product, this is not for you! PS: this totally IS a full-coverage product, I have never needed extra concealer to cover any spots (my super dark melasma or deep purple scars) because a little dab of CC Cream on a sponge handles the job like it's cake.
Yes this product hides those in-perfections!!I’m 56 year’s old and have been putting on cover up my whole life, I’ve had men tell me you don’t need to where makeup for me, I’ve had others think oh she must like me she’s waring make up to look good for me so I’ll like her… well here’s a news alert, get over your darn selfs, I don’t wear make up for anybody but me! I ware make-up because I like to!! I’m not disfigured or anything, I am a woman and love it and make-up makes “me” feel good that kind of feeling good shows on the outside from within. This product of cover-up is far the best cover up make up I have ever used,My skin is just normal I would say but I do have to pluck some hairs from my face from time to time, and I end up with pimples from doing this ... MoreYes this product hides those in-perfections!!I’m 56 year’s old and have been putting on cover up my whole life, I’ve had men tell me you don’t need to where makeup for me, I’ve had others think oh she must like me she’s waring make up to look good for me so I’ll like her… well here’s a news alert, get over your darn selfs, I don’t wear make up for anybody but me! I ware make-up because I like to!! I’m not disfigured or anything, I am a woman and love it and make-up makes “me” feel good that kind of feeling good shows on the outside from within. This product of cover-up is far the best cover up make up I have ever used,My skin is just normal I would say but I do have to pluck some hairs from my face from time to time, and I end up with pimples from doing this and I’am guilty for being a picker when this happens causing redness and scabs that need to heal, and I’m sure all you other picker out there like me know that’s when your hot Nabor knocs on your door,? Well with this product seriously I’ll do just a quick small squared and rub it on my face and I don’t even have to run and go look in the mirror to make sure it ok before I open the door I know I look good and there’s no blemishes to be seen.I’am new to “it” my daughter introduced me and this is my second order my first was in July 2023 I use this everyday it doesn’t take much to do the job and looks and feels so good on, it is priced a bit higher then I would like to pay only because I’am on a tite budget, but for the length of time it lasts about a good year and how it makes me feel it’s worth it.I normally don’t give reviews unless it was something wrong and people should be aware before buying,Not this time!!!So I give this a 👍👍Good job it!Wondering if there other stuff is this good too 🧐
I used this for 7 years and in that time there were 2 noticeable changes to the formula. When I first started using this the palest shade was ~ actually ~ pale, the coverage was medium and it looked like skin! Then the shade range took a turn for the worse with all of them becoming orange-y and not enough options for complexions on either end of the spectrum. However, I would always find my way back to it because I loved the finish and it was one of the few products that agreed with my extremely sensitive, dry, acne prone skin. I was willing to make the shade work with a lighter concealer and despite finding the product would kind of go off.. before I would ever finish a tube (3-4 months) , unlike the first couple years of using this. I took a break from using this ... MoreI used this for 7 years and in that time there were 2 noticeable changes to the formula. I was willing to make the shade work with a lighter concealer and despite finding the product would kind of go off.. before I would ever finish a tube (3-4 months) , unlike the first couple years of using this. I took a break from using this to try another foundation and in that time frame I also developed perioral dermatitis. When I came back to try this (after releasing a shade pale enough!) after minimizing my makeup routine and healing the dermatitis it triggered another outbreak/no longer works for my skin anymore! It is too bad because it worked for a long time and the claims are for extremely sensitive skin conditions like PD,etc (with some even saying this is one of the only foundations that work for it)! Happy to see the shadeThe pros: goes over flakiness well, skin-like finish, can be good for sensitive skin ?, does not make my skin feel tight, moisturizing and plumpingThe cons: shade range isn’t great- even for the new pale colours they are very yellow, transfers if you rub or touch your face/clothing, starts to break down (but doesn’t look too bad), the price honestly.. has gone up over $20 since I first started buying it :(
