Italeri 1:72 Harrier Gr.3 (Falklands War)
The Harrier is probably the most famous aircraft with vertical/short takeoff and landing capabilities of military History. Designed and developed by the British manufacturer Hawker Siddeley in the sixties, it actively participated to the military operations during the Falklands / Malvinas War in 1982. More in detail the Harrier Gr. 3, characterized by the adoption of new features as the nosemounted laser tracker and the integrated electronic countermeasure systems, it was very effective in close support and ground attack missions performed by British Royal Air Force. Armed with two 30 mm guns installed under the fuselage, it was able to carry a significant load of offensive weapons composed by rockets, conventional bombs and laser-guided bombs. Thanks to the possibility to adopt two drop tanks under the wings, the operative range could be increased. Very nice accurate kit for its price. Good choice. Good idea HobbyCraft .Well its been in the soak tank for nearly a week, so no damage noted. Well defined detailing.Very basic armament and accessories but these will be dealt with in due course.I checked back on older models and versions and found most of them had the recce pod, synominous with the Harriers deployment and they tend to look better with a pilot.Bonus points for the already split, 2 piece canopy but no decal for the Mini-Det cord. The decals are whats let this kit down even in comparrison the MisterCrafts especially the Technical ones.Overall thank you HobbyCraft for suppling this much needed model kit a much needed add to my collection.Expect to be starting 2024 early next year.

Excellent product , as described , one of the more accurate gr3 harrier kits available in this scale .
Not built it yet, but the mouldings look good with nice detail.
Nothing too bad but certainly very overpriced. The details on this kit are simplified with a bare cockpit (is that a U.S.Marines seat?) and no pilot to hide the empty space. Great for youngsters if it is half the HobbyCraft price. Like others have said, grown-ups should buy the cheaper more detailed Airfix kit.
I would certainly use this firm again for small or large orders. The response was almost unbelievably fast and efficient. Thank you.
For the price this is a very poor model particularly as it is promoted as a Falklands special. Parts detail is low, fit rubbish and instructions inconsistent. The Airfix entry model is far superior and a lot cheaper.
Love hobbycraft coming from a crafting family it's great to drop in and be inspired, now having 6 grandchildren I am inspiring them to do lots crafting. Also having a daughter fighting cancer your goods help me to raise money for cancer related charities which we have been doing for nearly 3 years hence l purchased a new sewing machine from you lasto year .Your staff are always happy to help which is lovely. Well done Hobbycraft Truro.
Apart from the good choice of armaments this is a small and basic model for the price
