Itiwit X100 2-Piece Adjustable Split Kayak Paddle 210-220cm

The 215 cm works for me. perfect length for my height (179cm). but a bit too long for my wife (under 160) while following standard paddle length measurement guide. but while on water, its just right. Due to the kayak being inflatable, the side is naturally wider than standard. Hence with longer paddle, it works well.

Could be better.

Where to start. It’s expensive. For the price I’d expected it to be better built. It’s solid don’t get me wrong, but blisters from the pole when for that price a bit of foam or some grip tape would have stopped that. The had limit washer moves too easy and can help you slip your grip. Also the quick release is t that great at gripping the pole and I found mine slipped. It’s the little things.It works well but a cheaper version would be better built. Might want to look at that! For that price just increase the comfort.

Damaged

I ordered two. Both were delivered with broken plastic parts (the adjustable clip), so will have to be exchanged. One I couldn’t connect at all as the metal parts wouldn’t fit inside each other. Other than that, they are light and easily adjustable. Hopefully I was unlucky but the clip is obviously a weakness. I will get more of the same though asi like them and hopefully they will work better. If not, I will probably go for the cheaper, simpler option.

Exceeded Expectations

Lightweight, easy to assemble, adjustable, smooth and comfortable on the water. The best part is that it’a easy to disassemble and fold back up into the storage bag. Great value foe the money.

First time paddle

Paddle worked really well. Very light weight. My 2 issues were the length adjustment. It could be longer. The rubber rings could be a better design, they didn't help prevent water running down the shaft into the kayak.

Great paddle

Worked well. Would like a little more padding where you grip the paddle but I can also get some thicker padded gloves. Go with the longer size for easier paddling.

ITIWIT double paddle

Purchased this for my 3 seater ITIWIT Kayak which is amazing check them out in store... Had two single paddles but when your against the tide and your partner is struggling it helps to be able to battle through with a double paddle. Breaks down and goes together easily. A great all round paddle.

Long and Stable

I bought these for use with my X100 which is a fairly wide inflatable Kayak. They are light, rigid and offer good reach without hitting the side of the Kayak. The drip rings are a nice touch and work well.

Not a happy paddler

Ι bough the paddle less than 3 months ago judging that it was fairly priced and affordable. I used it for sea kayaking. On my last outing as I was paddling in medium rough conditions the left black grip came loose and started to slide on the bar making it impossible to paddle. I stopped on a beach and managed to tape it securely. As a precaution I taped also the other grip. I do not know if I should return it and if the replacement will not do the same. This should not happen.

The extra $20 for the X100 paddle is well worth it. The rubber rings at the base of the paddle blade prevent water from running down the poles/your arms and into the Kayak, without them an annoying amount of water ends up all over you and inside the Kayak - which also needs to be factored in at the end when it comes to drying your Kayak.The adjustable handle is sturdy and there is no concerns feeling like it will come apart.
