Dont buy any cheap airbrush for 30 if youre new at this buy directly this one and you will find your new hobby exciting. Spend a bit more at the beginning rather then buy a good one afterwards
As the title suggests, I'm new to Airbrushing. Having tried a cheaper airbrush bundled with a mini compressor purchased elsewhere, it soon became obvious that I needed something of better quality and with greater paint capacity. Thus far the Iwata Neo has never let me down! No blockages and faultless finishes provided I thin and prepare paint correctly. The dual action is also smooth and easy to control via the single button. The product is easy to disassemble for cleaning whereupon it is obvious that this is a quality item; beautifully machined and finished. But the ultimate allocate is that this airbrush even in beginners hands produces first class results. Overall, I say pay a little bit more and you get something really top notch! Well done Iwata.
I bought this to replace a cheap starter airbrush and the difference is unbelievable. The paint finish is fantastic and really makes a difference to the finished model. I wish I had bought it earlier.
I have never used an airbrush before, so I thought I, d start with a cheap 15 pound model, that was a mistake, it did not perform well at all. So I threw caution to the wind and went for a cheap but well named brand, and am I glad I did, the difference is amazing, I can now do thinner lines using lower pressures and can cover well with the 2mil needle I put in it, because of this machine I have since purchased another 2 named brands, but at the lower price range for these models. There's no point in me spending too much money on an expensive machine if I. I have only used cheap, knockoff airbrushes so far, and always had problems with them. Initially i wasn't convinced on spending over 100 euros on an airbursh, which is relatively simple mechanism after all, thinking to myself-why does it cost so much ? After it arrived and i opened the package, i really understood why. Everything about it screams high quality, and you can see it even from the moment you touch it. It works great, and it is well worth the money. If you are a scale model builder, having a quality airbrush is a must.
I had a cheap airbrush that came with my compressor. I thought it was okay, but it kept clogging and wouldnt spray unless the trigger was wide open. I eventually talked myself into buying the neo. What a difference, sprays beautifully and the results show. Well worth the money.
This airbrush is one of the best on Market. Feel free to research. The tip I think is .35 mm. That's very small and you can't spray flakes or thick paint. Its also imperative to keep it clean and I do mean clean and oiled. You learn how to reduce paint and properly caring for it and you'll get many years of service
