This certainly helps with standing but there is a finish on the mat that gets onto polished floorboards and makes them extremely slippery. Can be very dangerous so take care.
I recently purchased a sit stand desk and this mat to compliment it. It is a must for anyone who intends to stand for a long time, particularly at a sit stand desk. It makes it easier to stand for longer periods by taking the pressure off your feet, particularly if you're wearing shoes.And, you can't complain about the price. It is very reasonable for the quality you get. Its quite thick, maybe 15mm, and the width allows you to adjust for a wider stance after a while of standing in a position for a while.
It smells extermely bad and I have to use an air purifier to reduce the odour. I hope it is not toxic that triggers health issues. If possible, I want to return this product.
I bought this about 1 month ago when I got my new sit to stand electric desk and it is brilliant. I have pre-existing back injuries. I work fulltime and also study fulltime and find that standing on the mat helps me to stand longer but also without pressure on my spine, lower back or my legs. I would definitely recommend it.
Started getting pains in my feet after standing at the computer most of the day. Tried foot baths and new shoes but no improvement. This mat is wonderful. Just the right size and very comfortable. Problem solved after a few days. Still happy a year or more down the track. Highly recommended.
Highly recommend getting this mat if you have a sit-stand desk.The surface helps take some of the extra pressure off when standing allowing you to stand for longer periods of time. It's also a great size. Some mats I have seen are quite large and bulky however this mat fits perfectly within a small space and is large enough for use.
It will change the way you use a sit stand desk and make a difference when standing for longer. It is lightweight enough to move around for cleaning and or putting aside if your in a small space. it dose not slip or slide around like other mats iv seen.
