I recently started working from home full time and I do dog rescue so have a lot of dogs. After research and a recommendation from the staff here I ordered this headset. It works great to block the sounds of barking dogs. The other caller has not been able to hear even when the dogs are not far from me. When close, they can hear something but cannot tell it is barking

I wanted a DECT headset that is dedicated for my computer, is comfortable, and I can use not just tied to my desk (to walk around with). This was a great investment. The headset is super comfortable, the audio is great (both hearing and being heard), and I have yet to go outside the range of the DECT (I am 100% WFH, live in a 6000sq ft house that is three stories and have never lost signal inside our house). It is nice as there is a very small USB dongle that plugs into your computer and thus you can take it with you when you travel in the included travel bag. I have used it all day and have never run out of battery. There is one concern with it and there is a beep about every minute when you are on mute to remind you. Also while there is an application you can install on your computer but it is not required, if it is a corporate locked down computer (raises hand), the USB dongle does not require any security permissions to run. You just plug in the USB dongle and your headset just works! If you want an all in one headset that works with bluetooth on your phone, ipad etc this is NOT the headset you are looking for. If you want a dedicated headset with amazing range and audio quality that you can use all day without your ears feeling like they are going to fall off, this is what you are looking for!!!

Happy overall with this headset. Features I like are the ring notification from the base station, as well as in the headset, and the ability to connect simultaneously to my work laptop, mobile phone and personal laptop. Have not had any issues with the headset losing the connection/settings with my work laptop (which I use for calls 40 hours per week), whereas the previous headset I was using would disconnect up to a few times per day. Sound quality could be a little richer, but overall very happy with the purchase and it's a headset I would recommend.....especially if you can pick it up on sale as I did.

Excellent audio quality, easy setup and fast installation. Works well with Avaya & Windows devices and has a great build quality. One disadvantage over the competing Poly Savi 8220 Office, is that the headset has a micro-usb port instead of USB-C. It also uses that Micro-usb port for docking into the base, so it's a little bit more clunky to dock.

One day while putting on the headset, the over the head band snapped. It wasn't a replaceable part so I decided to look for a replacement. I wanted DECT because I wonder during conference calls so needed the wireless long range capability. The problem I noticed immediately is the headband is not tight. No matter how I adjust it, if I look down, it slides off. This never happened on the Logitech unit. The second issue is I get complaints sometimes my audio drops. It is usually because I move the mic a little to drink coffee, but now I am barely audible. I may need to work with the settings more. I tried to use it with my mobile phone, but that became challenging. While on a VoIP call, my cell phone rang and I muted the VoIP call to quickly answer the mobile call. It switched all my audio around and was not able to go back to the VoIP call. I ended up disconnecting and reconnecting to get it back. I have since removed my mobile phone from the Jabra. Battery life seems much lower than advertised, but need more time to be sure. Range from base seems adequate. The indicators on the base are nice. I would like the red light on the boom mic toindicate Muted (on) or UnMuted (off). I am not always next to the base and would like visual confirmation. I know it has the audible chime, but it's not always reliable. The headband being insufficient is a big issue for a product you wear all day on your head. It doesn't matter if the rest of the product is good if you are constantly frustrated from it falling off.
Best headset for work! The noice cancelling is amazing & connects to computer, mobile & work phone seamlessly everyday all day. No problems with sound on either end & all functions work as described. It also Doesnt pinch or give you headaches even after wearing it all day or while wearing glasses. Havent had any issues with distance/connection but havent tested it too much. Only down fall is mine does randomly echo back to me at times (maybe once every few days) & sometimes slips off my head a little when writing & talking to clients, so maybe the stereo version may be better at staying on? .
All in all an excellent portable device with superb range and reliability. Better than Bluetooth. I like deploying this because I don't worry about Bluetooth range and performance issues. Some thoughts- moving to USB C charging would be a plus. For "on" and "off" one has to hold the button for quite a while, confusing some users. The convertible earpiece doesn't lay nicely in the provided case. Range isn't as good as the engage series.
I had been looking for a headset for a long time that had a good noise cancelling microphone. This is it!! The microphone is excellent. Compared to my previous headsets, people tell me that the sound quality is great and that they cannot hear any background noise. The headset is comfortable and battery life is long. The docking station is pretty user friendly although and you can add/pair multiple devices for easy switch over between devices. However, unlike other bluetooth headsets where you can have them paired with many other devices, you are limited to the number of connections via the docking station. Overall, a quality piece of kit.

But keep in mind the headset is connected directly to the base and you have to connect the base to your computer via USB type A in addition if you have a VoIP desk phone or a traditional home phone and it has the option for a headset port then you are able to connect it through a traditional phone cable. Be aware, anytime that you have any application that uses the input from your headset for example when you click on the search by voice on google's search bar the audio quality will downgrade till the application stops to use the input, I had a application from Verizon that is called One Talk it's meant to make phone calls from my computer and obviously that application uses the the input from the headset because I have to be able to speak to people on that application I struggled a long time till I found the cause. The main reason I bought this headset is because I couldn't find any other headset in this level that has the same audio quality. I will be honest I think the audio is the same quality from the Beats headphones. But again make sure you don't have any other application that uses the input at the same time you listen to your music on the computer.
It cam in the box as bew. Not a mark on it and still had all the stickers on it. Worked out of the box, plug and play really. After having wired headsets it great to have the freedom to move around the house when working. Excellent signal quality with DECT compared to the Bluetooth ones my colleagues use. Sound and voice clarity is perfect and noise cancelling is truly amazing - but takes a second or two to kick in.
