I have over the years used various over ear, in ear headphone with varying degrees of success and quality of sound, my last set were Airpod pros, very highly overrated, difficult to keep in and unless the fit was perfect, the sound was acceptable at best, with bass being nonexistent. After reading various reviews I managed to flog the pros and used the funds to buy the Jabra Elite Active 75t, to say I am blown away by them is putting mildly.I decided on the blue ones and they look absolutely beautiful, with sound quality to match.Inside the box is the buds, the matching blue case and a small box with a warranty card, charging lead and 3 sets of tips, the medium tips are already fitted and after a bit of experimentation I got the perfect fit. Fitting them every time is a simple insert and twist motion creating the seal, they feel secure and I have taken them out running, walking with the fit remaining secure throughout, no drop in sound quality and no continuously having to push them back in as with the AirPods. The set up is done via the Jabra sound + app and pairing and set up took minutes, since the first setup i have had no dropouts and connection is instant every time. However as with all audio product the key question is, how do they sound. The initial set up performs a tuning test to adapt the best sound for you and initially I wasn’t overly impressed, quality was ok, bass was there but it wasn’t exactly room shaking bass and that is where the app comes into play. There are 6 preset equalisers neutral, bass boost, smooth, speech, treble boost and energize, and again after going through them all I selected what was best for me. The equalisers are all fully customisable so you can tweak and save them to get the perfect for your liking. You also have 3 “moments” where you can save a particular setting depending on what you are doing at that time one general one, one for commuting and one for focusing, although I just keep it on the general one. After sorting out my preferred setting I tried it again and the sound quality is stunning nice but not overpowering bass, with a perfect combination of mid and high ranges and no one range overpowering the others. I listen to all sorts of music and they are able to cope with all genres, the sound is so good I have heard things within songs I have never heard with any other type of device. The buttons on the buds can control play/pause, skip and several other functions which again is all set up via the app and although I’ve only took one call with them in, it was clear with no issues, although I did feel like a bit of an idiot walking through the street appearing like I was talking to myself. The buds are not fully noise cancelling but when in and playing there’s nothing gets in and this is noticed if you activate hear through which does let in ambient sound and you can really tell the difference when it’s on and off.But that’s not all, fancy falling asleep to the sound of rainfall of a babbling brook, the app also has what are call soundscapes, which are basically sounds to mask back ground noise when you want a bit of piece or quiet, they are surprisingly effective and when trying to get some sleep it’s quite a gentle way of nodding off.I hope this all helps you make the right choice, to be fair apart from inserting them and performing the set up with the app there not much more to them, the charge time is good and holds up well, they look fantastic but most importantly the sound is up with, if not the best out there, I would very highly recommend them.

The best quality sound I’ve heard from earbuds in a long time. I will never go back to another brand. I hands down believe that these were the best for me personally. I will break it down for those who want to read this review…App: the app that is associated with the earbuds is amazing! I think the way it can personalize the way you are able to hear is on point. It has a lot of ways to continue to enhance the way you hear through the earbuds. I love that it tells me the battery life other specs that are relevant.Case: the case itself is small and compact enough to not bother you caring it around everywhere you go but that is also a downside. It’s so small it can get lost easily or stuck in hard to reach places. The fact that the earbuds are magnetic in the case ... MoreThe best quality sound I’ve heard from earbuds in a long time. It’s so small it can get lost easily or stuck in hard to reach places. The fact that the earbuds are magnetic in the case is also a huge annoyance if they fall from even a small end table because it sends the earbuds flying!Charge capacity: it’s amazing how many days I went the first week when I started using them! I thought that maybe the next day I’d have to charge them but because the case holds a lot of the charge for the earbuds I was able to listen for hours on end! I believe I was on day 4 or 5 listening to music and podcasts for 5 hrs at a time each day.The fit: from other reviews and the research I’ve done these particular ones were made to be for smaller ears. It’s so hard for me to stick an earbud and not have it bother me after the first hour. These actually were small enough but that was the downside. They fell out more times than I could count. It was actually annoying how my earhole isn’t customizable as well because every other earbud was too big and this was too small so I had to make it fit even when I tried to interchange the earbud silicon ends that it came in the case. They just didn’t fit. I made it happen anyway since the sound trumped the fact that they didn’t fit.The mic: I’ve never heard more crystal clear sound when im on the phone. It’s super incredible having someone know exactly what I said without repeating myself a million times! I love the multiple mics in the earbuds. The buttons controls: I find the controls on the earbuds super easy to understand. It’s with a simple push I can make it heat through or not. I can pause my music etc. I like the access to the buttons. It’s nice and easy.I overall love these so much I got the 85t which was a huge upgrade from the 75t. If your seriously tired of wasting money on cheap earbuds go with the 85t and never go back!!

I’ve been testing out this model and compared to my 65t, it needs some work. I haven’t had issues on getting a connection, although you may have to manually do it on your device if you take the ear buds out before turning the Bluetooth on the device. Holding that connection is another thing. My 65t never ever dropped or had any interference with the connection until about two weeks before I got the 75t Elite. I thought that the 65t were dying as they were over 3 years old and I use them almost every day. I could walk up from the basement out to the middle of my yard and still have connection with my device with no issues. The 75t Elite can’t make it directly upstairs above my device without losing a connection or having major interference. I could walk up from the basement out to the middle of my yard and still have connection with my device with no issues. The 75t Elite can’t make it directly upstairs above my device without losing a connection or having major interference. Calls are great on both but there will be cut in and outs on the 75t that I never had with my other. The volume is good, ANC is good, hear through is better on the 65t as there is more of a almost hiss with the 75t. Also if you’re outside and walking into the wind with the hear though on, it’s going to be very noisy. The fit securely and comfortably in my ears and stay put throughout a cardio/interval run/weights/yoga workout without a problem.I do like the magnetic locking into the case and the case itself being a magnetic close. I haven’t played with the feature of volume or anything as I always forget which is which. I usually just click it to hang up a call but you almost have to look and make sure as there is no sound indication that the call has disconnected, it just goes silent so I have to make sure it is indeed hung up before moving on.If there is some update or software fix for the intermittent cut outs, then it would be an awesome product. However, after having such great success with my 65t, I’m not sure the 75t Elite would be a great introduction to a new Jabra customer. Please look into it and fix these issues, you have a good product, this will ruin your loyal fans if it continues. I’m hoping for a firmware update and some good news on the constant flickering of sound. If this can be fixed, it will be a great product, even without the ability to go too far from your device.I did get them on sale for $99 so I’m glad I didn’t pay full price or they’d be going back. Sorry but I can’t recommend these until the dropping issue is fixed.

The sound quality is excellent, and the noise cancellation is good enough to block out most background noise. I've been using them while working from home, and they've been a great way to stay focused and productive. I've also been using them while working out, and they've stayed in my ears securely even when I'm moving around. One of my favorite things about the Jabra Elite Active 75t is the long battery life. Reviews were a mixed bag so I was on the fence. I have a great pair of ANC headphones, but I did not want to ruin them at the gym or when I was running. Plus headphones get uncomfortable and sweaty while working out. I ended up pulling the trigger on these and they are fantastic.Let’s be clear on these earbuds intent, they are for grinding at the gym or exercising. If you want something to watch movies with while relaxing, get some nice ANC headphones as these earbuds are not award winning sound. However, for the gym, these are perfect. They are very base heavy to get you thru your workout, but you can tone that down. They stay firm in your ear and don’t budge. The ANC is not the best, however I do not hear the treadmill when I’m running, and they will drown out any gym equipment. Another major plus is they get LOUD! Also they run a test to your ears specifically, and adjusts, which is a nice feature. My only regret, is I’m not sure I needed the Actives. I believe the regular 75 elites would have been fine. Otherwise, if you want something specifically for running or hitting the gym, these are hard to beat.
This is my 3rd set of Jabra earbuds. The first was the 65t which worked well for a while but they quickly developed battery issues and wouldn’t maintain a charge or wouldn’t charge. The other issue was I started picking up construction traffic while listening to music. The 75t’s have been much better. The battery life is great and the sound superb. I have mixed feelings about the ANC. I wear these when exercising so ANC is not used much but I have used it when watching a movie and it worked pretty well not like a headphone either noise cancellation though. I’ve had a little problem finding the right size ear insert 1 is too small and falls out easily and the other too large and falls out too easily but that’s just my odd sized ears I guess. I waited for these to go on sale to get a good deal on them. It takes a while to learn all the button uses but they do everything I need them to. They do have a hearthrough mode which works well if you want to hear people passing you on a trail but it does increase the battery usage. I use them in the off mode and keep the music down so I can hear approaching people. I’ve had people tell me that the sound on the phone is good which is better than the 65t model.
I got a pair of Jabra Elite Active 75t earbuds on sale at Best Buy about 6 months ago with two primary uses in mind.(1) I wanted a pair of earphones that I could pair with my Garmin running watch, and (2) I wanted a compact pair of ANC earbuds for plane flights.Since then I've found that I primarily use it for two other cases: listening to podcasts with my cellphone on walks, and participating in zoom-meetings for work.I've been happy with the battery-life (I can use it for several walks between charges), durability (no signs of damage yet), security (I have never been worried that they will fall out), and comfort (they don't feel perfect, but they aren't too bad). I was also happy to find that the microphone is good, which has turned out to be important for participating in zoom-meetings.I like the charging case, which recharges easily with USB-C. And although it's taken awhile to get comfortable with the controls, I've grown to like them. You can do all the important things: (tap right to pause/play media, tap left to change ANC/hear-through, hold right to increase volume, hold left to decrease volume, hold extra long to pair). The left ear control also switches to mute/unmute when I'm using an app like Teams or Zoom, which is occasionally confusing but mostly useful. You can also pair with two devices at once, which is occasionally confusing but mostly useful. It took a couple firmware updates before all the behavior stabilized, so be patient if they are glitchy straight out of the box. The only persistent glitch I've dealt with is that occasionally the left earbud loses connection with the right earbud.Unfortunately, they don't work very well with my Garmin watch due to a weak wireless connection. The connection is ok for walks, but it starts cutting out when jogging. I can improve the quality a little by moving my watch to my right-wrist (the earbud antenna is in the right ear), but it's still not perfect. This is not just an issue with the Garmin, their connection to a smartphone also gets choppy when I put my smartphone in a left-pocket. I've never had this problem with over-ear headphones, and I assume this issue arises because the earbud geometry requires a small antenna that's close to the head, which makes it hard to get a clear signal. It's understandable, but still disappointing when a high end active earbud can't be used reliably with a major brand of running watch.I still haven't had a chance to test the ANC on an airplane yet, but I'm looking forward to trying. When I have used the ANC, I've found it has limited effect. The vast majority of noise reduction just comes from the mechanical isolation of the earbud (which is pretty good on it's own). I'd take them on a plane, since their small size makes them much more convenient than bulky headphones, but ironically, I expect that I'll end up turning off the ANC off to increase battery life.
These are solid Bluetooth earbuds. I use them when commuting, running, walking the dogs, and occasionally around the house. Love the “hear through” feature that allows me to hear the world around me. Sound quality is good, not great. They mostly stay in my ears well, and hold up to sweat while running. My main complaint is that they’ll regularly have connectivity issues, like they’re dealing with interference, partially dropping the sound. Holding my phone right up near my face fixed the issue, but there shouldn’t be connectivity problems from my phone being in my pocket. Otherwise, great earbuds.
I've always liked earbuds, but I've been a wireless denier for a long time. Not enough battery, connectivity issues, just junk, I thought. I decided it was time to try to catch up with the times after reading several numbered lists of good buds with these at the top and I'm glad I did. Gone are the days of being tethered to my phone AND having to worry about the buds falling out of my ears. Battery life is a no-compromise issue for me, and with the case I can squeeze about a full 10 hour day and then some. The ear pieces are amazing; some kind of magic, to be sure. When I first put them in, they felt secure enough, but I didn't trust them. I jumped around, ran, and threw my head around, and still couldn't get them to fall out. The sound quality is, I'd say, is about ... MoreI've always liked earbuds, but I've been a wireless denier for a long time. Not enough battery, connectivity issues, just junk, I thought. The sound quality is, I'd say, is about where it should be at this price, and the hear though function is great for work. Connection distance is further than advertised, in my experience, at closer to a good fifty meters, or so. Also, comes in copper, my favorite color for most things. In summary, great sound, plenty of case-based battery life, more than sufficient range for most things, and the ear pieces are both comfy and eerily grippy in-ear. VERY happy with these earbuds for all-day work and a workout.
I just purchased these six days ago and have decided that I’m going to be bringing them back. I was so excited to get these and they sound great and the app works great but I have two dogs and bending down to pick up my dogs waist, they constantly fall out of my ears. I watch the video, I’ve tried each sizes small medium and large and they just simply will not stay in my ears. The information provided about the fit is not true by any means - if you’re at home lying in bed with these in your ears that would be fine but I’m very active and I need something to stay in my ears and these will simply not stay in and I don’t want to risk losing one or two of them in a river off a bridge, or falling in my dogs feces ir cycling, could never wear these cycling. It just doesn’t make sense to me that you could write with such confidence how well they fit and stay in for active people and when I saw the guy jumping and rolling in mid air, I just about burst into laughter, well I almost choaked. It’s a real shame too, your false information had me fooled and it was my only Christmas gift to myself.I definately would not recommend this product as it is very misleading, but the quality of the sound was great and I’m sure you have other better products too but your marketing department needs a complete reality check.P.S. my first in depth review on anything, but it is defiantly warranted.Sincerely,P. Martin
