I Needed a beater guitar that I could play on the fly, as my main guitars stay in their cases between rehearsals and gigs. Having owned many guitars throughout my 20 years of playing, this has been one of those rare scores, having a 200 guitar play so well. I did upgrade the tuners with some wilkinsons, plus I dropped in some extra Ibanez Quantums with 5 way switching and this guitar is a beast.

Bout for my son, pulled it out of the box before wrapping it just in case it needed any adjustments. It did not! Sounds great and my kid loves it.
Fast neck, clean frets, one rough spot between the 5th and 7th frets on the back of the neck . Easy refinish.
Very easy to chord. It appears to be well designed and fun to play.i would recommend this guitar to anyone that is looking for a quality starter. Beautiful finish.After initial string stretching, it stays in tune very well.
I got the snow white color of this Jackson. The reason it has 4 stars is because it came with high action out of the box. But after adjusting it myself and setting up the intonation properly, it sounds awesome! I have tried many guitars of different brands and Jackson takes the cake. If you are looking to start rocking, get a Jackson!
Ordered new guitar from website. Item was delivered in three days!! Very well packaged... Box in a box, in another box. Free shipping, too! Do not be alarmed if you see "shipped from VA" on your tracking. The store is in NY, but their shipment center is in Virginia. That info is on their website, but I didn't see it at first.I am actually going back to their site (store) to shop for more items. Great experience. Excellent communications. Buy with confidence.
Overall:The JS12 is a dream to play! The neck is smooth and fast, a shredders dream! It has a beautiful finger board with 24 highly polished frets! The metallic blue I got it in was the only available color I could get at the time, I don’t regret it!!!!Not only does it look great it sounds even better! What can I say I know what I like!
A really cool quitar which our 10 year old daughter can play well. Fits her perfectly.
