SUPERB guitar. It may be "entry level" but it's so well put together. Nothing about this feels cheap. Excellent finish to everything, no rough fret edges, no blemishes or chips in the finish, nice smooth neck, arrived with great low action, just needed a tune and it was ready to go. The V shape is SOOO comfortable to hold and play and come on, it LOOKS sick af. Sounds fantastic too, nice clean tone, meaty chug with distortion through my Katana and even my Fly 3 practice amp. What's really great about this guitar though is it makes you excited to pick it up and play it. It's an 80's shred beast all for under 300.

That neck is soo fast.Seriously for the price of this guitar, you're not going to find much better.Only issue I had (sold it to my buddy cuz I picked up the mustaine signature angel of death flying v) was massive amounts of neck drop.Neck drop is nothing if that's the only thing I had issues with at the price they sell this for.I can see this as my go to whenever someone says they're thinking of getting into guitar. Fantastic instrument

I ordered this guitar a couple months ago and its played great and is still in perfect shape. The reason I'm writing this review is because of an Employee by the name of Rudy at your San Diego Location(this was the location from my phone i'm not 100% sure thats where it was) but he called me and was extremely nice and helpful. Rudy asked me how the guitar was doing, if i had any questions for him, what I thought of the guitar, and my set up. I'm writing this review because I was truly taken aback that I was being called for a guitar I ordered months ago, on the other side of the country. This was absolute perfect customer service by Rudy and because of him I will continue buying SamAsh products. Thank you again.

When I saw this guitar in store I instantly fell in love and was shocked at how low the price was. I ordered it online and it was here in three days. The only problem is the strings aren't the best so you may want to look into replacing them. other than that I have no complaints this is a beautiful guitar and it plays really well. all in all this is an excellent guitar and for a good price.
For those looking for a great guitar for an amazing price, this is for you. Jackson's are known for heavy metal and this king v screams it. It's high output pickups, to the Floyd rose this thing is just a total beast. Even though it's floyd is a licensed, it's still just as good as a real one. There's a reason Alexi Laiho used one, it was an amazing instrument.
Wanted to check out a flying V and a Floyd Rose on the cheap. The B-stock model was 2/3rd the cost. Took about an hour to set up. It ships with the strings loosened and that's a good thing. A few swipes on two or three fret ends and getting used to tuning and intonating the Floyd Rose was all it took to turn this into a growler. The strings themselves aren't bad, I replaced them a few weeks later once I learned the process of tuning it. Another thing to know if you practice while seated: Flying V shapes aren't easily playable sitting down without a strap. The frets are jumbos and I prefer them for bends without the Floyd Rose. While some will not like the pickups, they are hot and throaty enough for me. The rest of the guitar is superb quality for the price. I'm ... MoreWanted to check out a flying V and a Floyd Rose on the cheap. The B-stock model was 2/3rd the cost. Took about an hour to set up. I've wanted a guitar in this style but since I'm not a pro. using it to make a living I didn't mind it's price even though it cost more than the highly popular Air Guitar. I just love metal of most styles since I 1st heard Black Sabbath Paranoid followed by Uriah Heep when it just started selling in Canada anyway over 50 years ago. All great music whether it was British or American & now world wide. I can't check off the pickup question cause I had no amplifier at the time.
For a basically low end Jackson guitar (I bought this one for about $285), this guitar is great for the price. It is light (basswood, probably, which gives is a great feel for me), and the pickups are good quality; great response across the board, from lows to highs. The bridge is great...I can dive bomb or pull a note up a whole step, and it returns to 0 perfectly. To me, these Jackson Floyd Rose trems are even better and more stable than the Floyd Rose Special. The body style looks very cool, the paint job is beautiful, and the output jack is in the right place, under the upper wing (that is very important). 24 frets, high power, smooth sounding pickups, great body, sits on my leg perfectly when playing seated...all around a great guitar. I highly recommend this ... MoreFor a basically low end Jackson guitar (I bought this one for about $285), this guitar is great for the price. Oh Jackson, you're quite the world renowned guitar brand alright but when are you going to put a little bit more work into your cheaper models? I've had a Gloss black King V with a Floyd rose ever since Septemver 11, 2020 and it's such a buzzy guitar. I've tried many things to end this fret buzz, thicker strings, truss rod adjustment, bridge adjustment and this guitar is a compete hassle. Jackson, a lot of us don't have money for a flawless USA model, a great pro series or an x series with less problems than your cheapest models, so Jackson, please do me a favor and work a bit more on your cheaper models.
I love Jackson guitars man but this one was just not up to par with all the others I have had. The bridge block would not hold the springs. I noticed a difference right away once I took the springs off so I could change the pickups like I usally do. But when I went to things back together it just wouldn't hold they kept coming off. So I put a 50 dollar tremalo block on it and sold it. This one was junk. I've had 7 or 8 js32 Vs and never had this problem before. Hope to never have it again. But I'm not giving up on Jackson. Still love the brand.
