Action perfect out of the box! Rippin sound! Beautiful instrument. Light weight . Very pleased with purchase. AMS spot on with delivery. Like other reviews, tuners suspect. Not a deal breaker. Love this guitar!

Honestly this guitar is probably the most comfortable guitar I've purchased in a long while. the neck is not too thick and its got a compound radius so you can shred solos at the bottom and play some chunky riffs on the top part. Ive always loved the V shape and Jackson are the masters of that style. These are really affordable too. Ive had this guitar for a couple weeks now and I haven't been able to put it down!!!

A great beginner guitar option

This guitar can output some quality sound. I did a few upgrades (installed a Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup, GraphTech Black Tusq XL, Gotoh tuners) and I couldn't be happier with the sound. Now I just need to learn to play! I don't actually have an amp, I play into a sound interface on my computer (Focusrite Scarlett solo 3rd gen) and then I use STL Tonehub and the Josh Middleton sound pack (accessed through FL Studio) to make it all happen. No latency and quality sound.

Alot of Metal axe for little $$$

Overall:I got mine for Christmas last year in red. I have always wanted a V and I wanted a red guitar so a win win for me. I was surprised by the weight of the poplar body. It's pretty well balanced and doesn't neck dive. The tuners arent the greatest, but they will do. The nut slots are very tight and need to be filed open a bit. Definitely change the strings. It makes a huge difference. The frets are great. No sharp edges and no dead spots or high frets. The fret board looks exactly like rosewood. You can't tell its laurel at all. The pickups are actually very high output and give you that Metal sound and then some. The red finish is killer. Build quality is great. I play with a ton of distortion with almost no mids. It does very well. It is everything I expected ... MoreOverall:I got mine for Christmas last year in red. I have always wanted a V and I wanted a red guitar so a win win for me. All it needs to make it better is a better nut and some locking tuners. I wouldn't touch the pickups. They hold their own. Get this guitar for sure. For the price it's hard to beat.

I can't say enough good about most of the many Jacksons I own and this is honestly no exception. The build quality is always top notch and the neck always feels smooth and fast. This guitar probably wouldn't be anything more than a fantastic practicing and jamming guitar, but it would make a decent guitar to record with if you changed the pickups. There is some fretbuzz, but nothing too annoying or even noticeable with distortion which I figure most people buying this would be using. There really isn't a whole lot of features and that's completely fine, the tuners stay in tune, the guitars feels good and it looks great. If you're into rock or metal and want to learn on or just want something to add to your collection like me then you can't go wrong here and you'll ... MoreI can't say enough good about most of the many Jacksons I own and this is honestly no exception. Impressed with this guitar, especially for the price!

Overall:To start off, I have been playing off and on for around 19 years. So although I’m no pro, I feel like I’ve played enough and owned a few guitars (my favorite being a 2003 Fender Jagstang that I bought brand new at 17) to be able to share my opinion. My son has taken interest in learning to play the guitar and I signed him up for lessons. For the first few months I let him take one of my guitars to the lessons before deciding to buy one for him to keep. You never know if these kids are actually going to stick with something for more than a day or two, lol. Well every time we go into the guitar store he immediately points out the Gibson Flying V’s they have hanging on the wall and talks about how much he wants one. I decided to see what other guitar brands ... MoreOverall:To start off, I have been playing off and on for around 19 years. I decided to see what other guitar brands make a V style, because I’m obviously not buying a 10 year old a Gibson. Jackson seems to have the best price point for this entry level of V style guitar. I was concerned at first because of the country of manufacturing and the price itself. I read a few reviews and watched some YouTube reviews of this model and determined that the few things people complained about wouldn’t be a big issue for a kid with no experience. Now to the actual review, sorry that took so long. When the Jackson JS Series King V JS32T in Ferrari Red finally arrived I was immediately impressed by how nice the finish looked. I was assuming there would be some cheaper or less then perfect quality control due to the price. But this guitar is very nice looking and I can’t find an imperfection on it. The volume and tone knobs are smooth but not loose like some cheap guitars I’ve played. After reading some reviews I was assuming that the tuners and nut would be sticky/snaggy, but I haven’t had any problems at all with them and it stays in tune quite well. The sound is what I’m most impressed by. I saw many videos and reviews where people had said they would most likely replace the pickups, and that might be something that I do for my son in a few years. But this thing sounds great with the stock pickups. The sustain and clarity is actually much better than the PRS SE Custom 24 that I own. I’m kind of mad about that, lol. This guitar sounds great though! I would have definitely loved to have one of these when I was starting out as a teenager.I may have just been lucky and got the good one out of the batch, but I am writing this review because I was actually impressed by the sound and quality at this price range. This is the first Jackson that I have bought and I am pleasantly surprised! I hope this helps.

Overall:I was skeptical about this one but I took a chance always wanting a King V. This model did not disappoint. The neck feels and plays wonderfully, no dead spots. It is very resonant. Pinch harmonics jump off this thing. I was thinking I would need to replace the pickups but no. They sound fantastic. This thru a Saucy Box overdrive into my Marshall DSL20C. Ride the Lightning dudes.

OK it may not be absolutely top quality but amazing value for money. Great fun guitar, good for hammering out heavy metal stuff with gain on max!

Very nice for the price, needs some additional work though
26 December 2019

Great guitar for the price. You will need to go get it setup for intonation issues....the stock pickups are alright for stock ones but I recommend getting something better. The edges of the frets will also have to be filed off or you will end up cutting your hands. A great entry level 7 string. Expect to put 100-150 dollars into it to make it worth your while.
