Janome HD 3000 Be Black Edition with Exclusive Bonus Bundle

This machine is wonderful! Coming from a Singer Heavy Duty that broke, the parts on this are much more solid and sturdy (even the presser feet are well constructed!), and the feed tension is amazing - I can actually sew at high speeds without losing control! I do wish it had a couple more stitches like a serger-esque overlock to 'fake serge' things, but overall a great machine.

This Janome machine is the best I’ve used, and there’s good support and Easily Available information and hacks for any problem. I wanted a good basic machine for sewing clothes and quilting. This was it. It has good practical accessaries and an amazing ‘walking foot’ with the bonus quilting kit for quilting and knits. The included coverlid is very convenient. This is One of the Best purchases I’ve made and highly reccomend.

EXCITED!

Initially need to admit that I haven't been able to jump into sewing and use my new machine due to current commitments I have, HOWEVER I cannot wait to do so!!! AM SO excited about this machine and it's capabilities to sew all kinds of fabrics from sheer to heavy duty, easy to difficult! Am trying to read all instructions first so that will not mess up.My first project is not necessarily an easy one as I need to complete a bean bag type chair for stuffed animals but it is out of minky fabric. This killed my previous machine play another one so want to move cautiously. However I believe that it will NOT be a problem with this new machine!

Fast, strong and plenty feet to move forward with my learning!

Five layers thick, no problem...

A true heavy duty machine that easily sews five layers of marine grade material. The three positions of the needle made it easy to either side of cording etc...

Great sewing machine

Very easy to setup and use. Sewed thru six layers of drapery material with ease. I tried the same thickness on my Singer HD4411 and it couldnt handle the thickness at the corners with rolled hems, the Janome sewed thru the corners with ease. I also have sewn lighter weight material with the same ease. I would highly recommend this to anyone whether you are getting your first machine or needing a heavy duty machine. This made a great addition to my collection which include an Adler walking foot industrial, Sailrite Ultrafeed LSZ-1, Singer HD4411.

Janome is my new favorite brand

This is the first Janome that I’ve ever used and I was blown away! The machine is smooth, easy to use and equipment with a lot of accessories. It makes really good buttonholes and that’s something I’ve struggled with using other machines.

Pretty Good, so far.

Good machine. Does two layers of upholstery vinyl with no trouble. The only bad thing so far is that there was a loose screw in the bottom of the box. I can't see where it came from or I would install it. I don't want to take the machine apart, so I am kind of stuck. I like the machine, I'm just kind of cringing every time I turn it on, waiting to hear a "CRUNCH!"

Sews through thick materials!

I bought this as a heavier duty machine as my current singer professional model 9100 is a whimp when it comes to sewing through more than 2 layers of denim. The Janine HD3000 sewed through 4 layers of Naugahyde easily - 6 layers of denim easily! Im very happy with it!

the great and the almost great

So far it has been easy to learn how to operate. I like that the bobbin stops winding when full unlike my last machine, though this feature has been alive since treadle machines. Having a needle threader is a big help. In the selling point video, the machine easily went over 6-8 layers of denim. My Janome balks at 6 layers of light cotton in making pleats. Sounds sluggish going through pleats.
