Did a lot of research on Tumeric etc..and seems a lot of the plain old turmeric is not very well absorbed. There have been reputable studies stating this Mervia form of Tumeric/Curcumin may be absorbed better as much as 20 times better than plain old Tumeric. Not sure on all the hype, but my knees were killing me prior to buying this.. I could barely squat down without a lot of pain. Used this stuff a couple months and it REALLY made a huge difference as to my achy knees. Good price, plus Jarrow has a great reputation. If you have any kind of early arthritis I'd say this is DEF worth a try. This Curcumin by Jarrow made a good positive difference for me.
