This is quite possibly the worse electric blanket I have ever used. The element heating is uneven and the blanket seems to have a such poor quality fabric cover that you can feel the elements quite prominently through it. Such a disappointment considering the Jason brand has had a good reputation over the years.

Great electric blanket. It does keep you nice and warm. Even my cat loves it, ihave to move her to get into bed. I recommend the blanket.If there was I had to pick and that's where the control is located .It might be better more at the top of the bed and the controls flatter. Lead a bit shorter.Especially for those who have a disability and have too try and reach the lead.Otherwise I recommend the blanket.

Price was awesome on special. Warms the bed, others have complained about where the cord meets the blanket ... not an issue, think they sleep in weird positions. Great feature is it has a control for each side.

I’ve been using this electric blanket for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. It heats up really fast and I keep it on level 1 throughout the night. It keeps me nice and warm without getting too hot.
Based on the older style electric blankets was what made me choose this brand. Works as expected and just in time for winter. The price was rather good for the excellent quality.
CONS:Stupid design - Why would you design an electric fitted sheet this way? Did anyone test this product and discover how uncomfortable it can. I have never seen another blanket designed this way.Takes a while to warm up too.PRO:It does get warm. The switch goes to zero in both directions and has a light for on and off - good for saftey.
I purchased this product yesterday, for my daughter, in Queen size. When we put it on the mattress, we were extremely surprised to find that the connections for both of the heat controls were located in a position that would interfere with anyone lying on the blanket. Either their torso or the arms would be aware of the placement, making for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. I have always recommended Jason products, but unfortunately this is one design that is very flawed. I work with aged people and can't help but think, how the hard plastic could cause pressure areas and tears, on their already compromised skin. Please Jason change your design...It is not up to your standard.
Jason Queen size fitted Electric blanket, bought from Spotlight. The electrical controller connections and leads sit inside the bed area by 30-35cm each side, hard plastic connection the size of a tv remote, with the thick cord connection for power also there. It is by design at the head end of the bed in the upper back area. Reducing the sleeping area of a Queen bed to a single. You wake throughout the night if you role onto it. It makes your expensive mattress feel like you’re sleeping in your cutlery draw. I takes a long time to heat as well.
Now this is the best thing I have bought all year. It fits my mattress perfectly. I only use an electric blanket to heat my bed before jumping in and It gets warm immediately, which means less electricity. I turn it off when climbing in and my sheets stay warm all night. When I have a sore neck or back I turn in on 3 and then lay flat on it for 10-15mins and it’s like having an hour massage. I love it
Good product, but way too hot on the lowest setting (1) to leave on while you're in bed. About 15 minutes and you are cooking. By the way, my bedroom is in a flood affected house in northern NSW with no internal walls, so very cold and a bit breezy. Didn't have this problem with a Sunbeam electric blanket.
