This took longer than expected to cure and remained tacky. It was well mixed and at the correct mix ration as I dispensed the whole tube at once. Will wait and see if repair stays good.

I needed to repair a couple of plastic retainers for the drawer guides inside of an old dresser; the plastic retainers broke apart (probably from someone leaning on the drawers and/or too heavy a load inside of them) leaving the wooden guide flopping around and the drawer sagging when pulled out. Replacement retainers seem to be out of production, and other epoxies I've used in the past on plastic really didn't seem to hold well, so I was a bit skeptical that this one would hold well enough to repair the drawer guide retainers. But I followed the instructions for application -- the syringe made dispensing the proper ratios easy -- and the drawer guide retainers now seem strong as new! I then gave the stuff a try on a piece that had broken away from the plastic shroud on the roll-up security screen in my '89 Firebird; like most glues I've tried on this particular plastic, this epoxy was reluctant to bond -- at first. But once it began to set it seemed to grab ahold and form a good bond. I guess time will tell if the bond holds up, but the shroud is mainly cosmetic so I'm optimistic about the long-term survivability prospects. A few things to be aware of: while the syringe is very handy, it is not a precise measuring device; meaning if you're trying to dispense just a tiny bit, you will likely get more than you wanted. A dime-sized blob is probably the minimum product it will dispense. Also, be sure to quickly clean up any spills, drips, etc. from areas you didn't want the epoxy applied; once this epoxy has cured it will be a pain to get off of places where you really didn't want it and where sanding isn't an option to remove the excess (ask me how I know...).

I like that this epoxy can be closed for future use. I used this to repair a cracked plastic front fender on a Yamaha Smax scooter. After sanding first application, I put a light second coat to fill in any imperfections. Very easy to work with. JB Weld did it again. They have epoxy for.just about anything.

I used this to fix a radiator. I hit a deer and mine was busted at the bottom below the drain. I fixed the break with JB weld Tank and Plastic repair. Then after it set up, I pulled the drain plug out and used this to fill on the crack from the inside. Its been two weeks and its still not leaking!
Does exactly as it says. I resorted to this stuff when my plastic welding failed on some car parts. Be aware that both liquids dont come out evenly and this will effect how well the glue sets, so make sure you have some scrap handy and use that untill both liquids start to come out then use the handy plastic tray provided. Takes longer than 1 hour to set but sets solid!
I used J-B Weld Plastic Weld to repair 2 cracks in an ABS toilet flange in our RV, then I installed a metal toilet flange repair ring for further reinforcement of the repair. I used a glue syringe to push the epoxy into the cracks and the product seemed to cure and adhere well to the ABS. I plan to inspect the toilet flange again in 1 year to see if the repair is holdling up well.
The plastic tank on my radiator had a hairline crack and was leaking. I drive a 98 Dodge Dakota and I wasn't going to be able to replace it for several weeks. I took a chance on this. Remember to prep your surface. I cleaned, lightly scuffed the area and cleaned again and let cure overnight.and the patch held for over a month while I used my pickup.
The high tensil strength and easy to use two part epoxy Gardner resin is the way to go for fast repairs on plastic. This high psi resin is withstanding the heat and pressure my radiator put on it. I did not have any fiberglass mesh so I used the next best thing my girlfriends panty hose which I also use on my dry air intake on rainy days to keep the water out of my air filter. Using the epoxy was simple and was relatively fast drying. I let it cure overnight even though the packaging stated it would harden to full strength in a hour. I for one don't believe that and would not test that especially on something as essential as my radiator. I was already hesitant about using the epoxy on the radiator but at the time had little choice. I for one don't believe that and would not test that especially on something as essential as my radiator. I was already hesitant about using the epoxy on the radiator but at the time had little choice. It met and exceeded my expectations. Using the pantyhose like fiberglass mesh I believe helped bond the epoxy with the molded plastic that made up my radiator. I wouldn't use this as a permanent fix but it has lasted now for 3 weeks and has been ok. Make sure you clean the surface of the area your going to use it on and I applied it in generous layers waiting about 20 to 30 minutes before applying another layer. I believe I put about 4 layers on and left it to cure overnight. I applied it in about 62 degree weather and it got down into the low 50's overnight. I let it sit approximately 14 hours and when I checked it was dry and hard. It has remained that way since. It's ease of use and fast drying capability makes it an essential must have in your cars toolbox for me.
I got this with the original intention of glueing a radiator support back together. Well i did use it on one section of it, and next day it was solid as a rock. The support was broken in too many places so i decided to instead replace the part, but had i taken it out and to the time to mend it back together with the JB WELD, I have no doubt it would have been stronger than before it was broken.
After researching a bit to find the right product, I purchased this to repair a coolant reservoir tank on a vehicle. The inclusion of a mixing paddle as well as a tray made the product easier to use. It mixed well, and was easy to apply. I allowed it to set about 10 hours before use. It was not fully cured and still slightly soft to the touch. Despite this, I placed it in service. It has now held for about 4 weeks, and I am confident it will perform over the long term. Full cure time seemed to be about 36-48 hours.
