This thing does everything. I have used it several times on battery power since purchasing it a few weeks ago. I have run it for the full 6 hours and the battery has lasted the entire time. The bluetooth works flawlessly and it is incredibly compact and easy to move around. I just ordered the bag with the wheels for protection and convenience but I have been carrying it by the handle and it is quite easy to move around. I currently have 6 of these and I have put 4 of them through the motions on real live events and they have come through with flying colors.

I've used the Eon One Pro for over a year now and it has worked very well. The audio quality is excellent and the versatility is exceptional. It supports everything - microphones - balanced or unbalanced, instruments and portable devices and the Bluetooth connection is fast and easy. The only complaint I've heard is that when the unit is in storage for a few weeks or months it can take many hours for it to charge and it won't function until there is a charge on the internal batteries, but knowing this I've never had a problem. The setup is quick and easy.

I bought a pair for my wedding DJ company. The woofer coils both turned black after 30 gigs in 1 year and JBL won’t cover it even though it’s under warranty because they say it was impromperly use even though they are advertised as pro audio items. $1800 down the drain. I’ve been a working DJ for 10 years and own lots of PAs for my company and will never buy JBL again. Buy if you want an expensive Bluetooth speaker, but these are not for professional use.

This unit is fantastic. I bought as a practice unit and to use for solo coffee-house style gigs. It sets up easily and I love the portability. I wish JBL had a peak meter on the main, which would help with clipping, etc. This is one of the most flexible, and easily useable portable systems for the investment I have found. The battery life is great (so far as advertised) and I have used with and without being plugged in. This is a must for small venues, hotels, house concerts, and the like.
I tested the JBL EON One for a month and was so impressed that I returned it for the JBL EON One Pro. I soon discovered that the EON One Pro failed to deliver as effectively as the EON One. This is due to a lose of 130w on the high end (this is the only difference for output, but it is noticeable). I was a bit turned off by this and debated returning the Pro. This decision was influenced greatly due to costs--at the time, though no longer true due to JBL changing price points for both the EON One and the EON One Pro, I could basically purchase two EON One units for the same price as the Pro; now the prices have been adjusted so that the difference in pricing is far less. Now I was very hesitant to return the Pro as I really liked the concept/options that the battery power presented along with the built in phantom power (I use a large diaphragm condenser mic solution for old timey county/folk/bluegrass jams), so I set out to try and find a solution to increase the output at minimum cost. First off, battery powered speaker solutions are very limited. After much research, I ended up trying the Bose S1 Pro, as I still wanted to be completely battery powered. This was a total failure due to the extra output being less than what I desired, and, in my opinion, wasn't worth the extra money (poor value). So I returned the Bose unit and got a second EON One Pro...I couldn't be happier! The sound is amazing and is a perfect fit for my need. One of my environments is an old timey/ bluegrass jam in a 1,000sqft building (an old church). This environment has about 10-20 musicians and anywhere between 20 to 50 audience members. I still had a good amount of volume remaining once I got my settings squared away. I used a dual condenser mic setup--Audio Technica 4033a and 2010--with great success. I imagine a single unit will work great in a small coffee shop setting or something similar, but, if you want to use this solution in a noisy environment be prepared to need 2 units.
I get that it was £120 off the full price, but I did expect it to work! Plugged in and switched on, but nada. No response, no charging, nothing despite testing power leads to ensure power was going. Also, it’s “B-grade” condition was a lot worse than anticipated - looked very bashed about with obviously dented grill over the drivers. Had to log it back to Bristol shop who were great and who changed it over, although I had to pay the extra for a new one. No saving there then PMT 🙄
The unit sets up quickly and easily. I love the smaller base unit size more than the regular Eon One and the tower looks appropriately sized to the base. The columns separate more easily than then Eon One as well. It is finally working and everything tests out ok. Connecting to Bluetooth was a snap on both my iPad and iPhone. My only complaint so far is that when I plugged it in the battery indicator lit up flashing red. JBLs support Wes a trip. The first guy I talked to said the red flashing light meant the battery or system board was bad so send it back to my seller. While on hold with the store I found one of the few articles in the internet and the guy said he had the same issue and left it plugged in and after it fully charged everything worked. While on hold with the store I found one of the few articles in the internet and the guy said he had the same issue and left it plugged in and after it fully charged everything worked. Info on this unit is very limited. So I called support again and the second guy talked with a coworker who knew the system. He said the battery light is normally red when fully discharged. He said leave it plugged in and soon the green indicator will show up, which it did. What a hassle. First off such limited info on the Internet then two different stories from their support. The manual doesnt cover battery light colors and what they mean. There isnt a troubleshooting section in the manual which is in most manuals I have. Im writing this review in hopes of helping the next guy that experiences this problem will find this review. I think the problem was that the unit was never powered up at the factory therefore the battery was new and totaly uncharged. Ill keep an eye on this. Stay tuned for my review after the gig on Saturday.
Bought two of these. They sound great with awesome options and fantastic electronics. Problem is I also bought them for the app to control the arrays remotely and save settings. Just Google JBL pro app. Hordes of folks are not able to get it to work at all which has been my experience. I almost returned them but I work for a nonprofit and it's what I can afford. I'll just suffer through and hope that at some point they'll fix the app. It's all the more disappointing because the equipment itself is so good.
When I got this product, I realized first it needed the app which is the JBL total control for it to work. However, I realized after that I didn't have to use the app since my presets were saved. After my second use at an outdoor event for cocktail hour, I noticed that after having it at 50 percent I was able to raise the DBs which is the volume and the red light never started which is the clipping of the amp. I also went back to the app and was able to EQ the speaker in which after 8 hours of use the batter still had over 70 percent left. Also depending in the room, outdoor environment or even in a house acoustics vary. For the most part it works, and I'll continue to use it as intended for ceremonies indoor and outdoor as well as cocktail hour.
The JBL EON Pro One is the perfect system for running live events in places where there is no available power. Since NYC has not opened live venues to the public yet, due to COVID, event planners and AV companies could set this system up literally anywhere, such as a public park or sidewalk and have very good sound quality and coverage for an event. This system easily transports via UBER or subway, so that with minimal cases and bags an AV tech can travel to a gig in the city with everything they need to run the show. The Bluetooth connection makes it easy to run background music, or play a track for a singer or rapper to perform to. The internal battery charges fast, and provides enough power for most events and performances. I highly recommend this well thought ... MoreThe JBL EON Pro One is the perfect system for running live events in places where there is no available power.
